Welcome to Season 2 of Hogtown Hangs! Ep.1 of this season features Rebecca Lane, violinist and Founder/Director of the Lane School of Music in Toronto (previously Upper Beaches Music School). We chatted with Rebecca about her experience making the move from “hamster wheel” freelancer to full time entrepreneur and educator, building a music school from scratch, starting the Powerhouse Musicians Facebook community, and hosting a kids music podcast with her daughter.

For this edition of Hogtown Hangs, we sat down with our dear colleague Steve Woomert to chat about his audition and experience as Associate Principal Trumpet of the TSO, his time at Northwestern University and the Glenn Gould School of The Royal Conservatory, and the album for two trumpets and piano that he recorded with his father Barton.
