Dr. Brett Weinstein had a recent conversation on The Tucker Carlson Show. Weinstein explained why he thinks there's probably not a creator. Pat Flynn joins the show as we respond to Weinstein's comments and explain where we think he goes wrong. The Classical Theism Podcast aims to defend Catholic Christian ideas in conversation. With the help of various guests, I defend three pillars of the Catholic Christian worldview: (1) the God of classical theism exists, (2) Jesus is our Messiah and Lord, and (3) He founded the Catholic Church. We place a strong emphasis on the first pillar, defending classical theism, drawing upon the work of Thomistic philosopher Dr. Edward Feser and many others. Wanneer gaan we slapen? Jongensdroom in vervulling. The Old Glory Ultra Relay is not just a test of physical endurance — it is a crucible for leadership at every level, demanding relentless initiative, adaptability, and cohesion from all involved. Episode 141 with Cole DeRosa makes clear that pulling off an event of this magnitude requires far more than just elite runners; it calls for a military-grade approach to logistics, communication, and mutual accountability. From the top-level organizers at Team RWB, who orchestrate the complex web of support, planning, and logistics, to the sub-teams and individual runners, leadership is the engine that keeps the operation moving. The event's success hinges on leaders who can both direct and listen, who know when to step up and when to support, and who are unafraid to make hard decisions in the face of adversity — a reminder that the real challenge is not just the miles, but the orchestration of people, resources, and time under pressure. Join Jim and Greg for 3 Martini Lunch as they analyze Republican special election losses and fears there could be more, the latest revelations on the Signal controversy, and the Biden press team's heavy-handed control over the media.First, they break down GOP defeats for the state house and state senate in Pennsylvania, including one which Republicans should have won easily. They also highlight the high-stakes Wisconsin Supreme Court race, where Democratic turnout appears to be stronger. Plus, they note additional concerns over an upcoming Florida House race. But Jim says the good news is that the GOP still has time to recover in both Wisconsin and Florida.Next, they dive into The Atlantic's publication of Signal messages from Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, revealing details about planned U.S. military actions against the Houthis. National Security Adviser Michael Waltz downplayed the report by noting critical details that were not included in Hegseth's comments. So where does this debate stand now? Finally, they react to a former Jill Biden media staffer's claims that President Biden's press team not only demanded to know reporters' questions in advance but also dictated which interview quotes could be published after the conversations took place.
