I’m literally talking about everything. That being said it always relates with our well being and specially with our mental health and happiness. I’m not an expert in any of the areas I cover.
Welcome to IMPRVMNT The Podcast Show. As I promised, here is the second part of my conversation with Lawrence and Darius—which is also the shortest episode I’ve ever recorded... So, what’s left; well, besides my weird theory of the world and good and evil, we also talked about: -How much humanity has improved in the last 400 years. -The fact that maybe none of our thoughts are in reality our thoughts. -Why human conversation is a hard task; and—despite the short length of the episode—so much more. Anyways, without further to say, please enjoy this short, but not less interesting conversation.

In today's episode we are talking with Saraswati. She is a "digital strategist turned online educator." We decided to take on a deeper topic about finding your purpose in life. She gives a lot of practical advice that we can use on our own journeys. And you might find out that you are a lot closer than you think.

In this week’s episode I had the pleasure of being accompanied by my recently-made new friend Björn Röjgren (@poor_bjorns_book_club on Instagram.) Who is Björn? Well, I’m not going to get into so many details from his personal life for the mere reason that they’re not going to be relevant to the conversation you’re about to enjoy during the next 55 minutes, but I’ll give you a couple if highlights. Back in 2015 Björn decided to read 24 books as an experiment—2 books a month. Interestingly, he ended up reading the astonishing amount of 80 books during that year. We talked about the reason behind this experiment, the first book he read, his reading process and how to take notes properly while reading a book. We also talked about his other experiments. Yes, if he finds an interesting idea on a book he has to test it out. One of the most remarkable of these experiments is the Rejection Therapy Experiment, where he decided to look for weird instances to get rejected for a whole month. But for his surprise, the one thing he failed at was at getting rejected. A square pizza and a shout-out from Daniel Priestley—author of the book Oversubscribed—are now part of his life anecdotes. And if I were to add another highlight to the introduction of this episode, I would mention his experience facing his fear of public speaking. Anyways, without further to say from my part, please enjoy the next 58 minutes.

This is part 1 of the conversation I had with Lawrence (spiritual.oneness) and Darius (@maharibera). I could tell you that we talked about human nature from a psychological point of view and from a spiritual point of view, but that would not be enough. Basically the idea that I presented was that it may be useless to resist this dark side of humanity, that hate will find its way to survive. In simple words we will never get rid of hate, and violence, and aggression, and war. I think it’s part of our nature to crave and desire power, to dominate and control others, to serve the self. And it’s also part our nature to react and fight against that. Think about this, throughout history, humanity has fought an unthinkable amount of wars, but if some of them hadn’t been fought perhaps we would not be where we are right now... death, sacrifice, is rooted inside of our subconscious. We know that works. We know that violence and aggression works. And let’s go back to the creation of the world according to ancient cultures. Every myth about creation contains darkness, light, fights, and death. But it’s also true that everything we know is limited by our level of consciousness, so if we want to find better solutions to our problems we have to raise our consciousness, we have to reach the next stage. So yeah, basically our conversation was about those two concepts: the dark side of humans, and raising our consciousness level. One last thing, if you notice that I didn’t talk too much, it’s because as a host my mission is to put the spotlight on my guests—it’s not about what I have to say but about what they have to say—so I cut off all my unnecessary ranting.
In this episode I am exploring the power of listening and showing your ability to understand somebody. This skill is super useful for conflict resolution and just for communication in general. When someone wants to be heard, it's hard for them to listen. Showing someone that you care is one of the most powerful forms of love. In this episode, I talk about empathy, acknowledgement, and being one leading a conversation towards love. One thing I want to add in here that I forgot to mention in the episode is that people are capable of self regulating themselves to a certain extent. So it's important to be aware of when to use the strategies I outlined in this video.

This week’s guest, David McCall, joins me to talk about... uff, it was a wide range conversation I’d say... but first, who is David McCall? Well, David (@maviddccall) besides being the senior associate and head of vocal department at New York Vocal Coaching studios, he is also one of the leading instructors of Contemporary Voice in New York City. David has also taught as a Master Teacher of Contemporary Voice for the NYSTA Comparative Vocal Pedagogy series. As a member of Actors Equity, he has performed and music directed in New York and regionally. As a music director and composer, he has collaborated on new musical theater works that have toured the US. As a write and producer, he has worked with many leading Broadway stars on popular web series. And last, but not least, he’s a founding member of The Nerve Project Theatre Company.

In today's episode we are continuing the journey through the world of love energy. Our guest is the positivity advocate Cheryl Mura. I met her on Instagram (@cherylmaa44love_positivity) and she immediately started bringing positivity to me and my page. After talking with her for a bit, I learned that she had an inspiring story that had to be shared with the world. Cheryl has been living with a disease called osteoarthritis (OA) and it prevents her from being able to move around freely. In this episode, she teaches us how she can still be positive everyday through the power of love and angels.

Welcome to IMPRVMNT The Podcast Show. My name is Ichiro Takahashi, and each week we bring you the person or the message that will help you improve your life. Let’s begin your journey. In this week’s episode I take a break from self-improvement so to say, and I dive into the waters of social media... but, before I introduce this week’s guest, I want to say a few things, and the first is that I’m aware I didn’t upload an episode last week, and although this should not be an excuse, I’m working on an ebook and most of my time it’s being invested between research and writing; that’s number one, and number two, I apologize in advance if my voice doesn’t sound as warm as always during this conversation, but I was freezing, it was a cold day. Anyways, with all that said, who’s Lucas O’Keefe: well, he’s a 27-year-old social media strategist who focuses on marketing and brand development on TikTok. He’s the founder of On The Clock Media and a former school teacher. We talked about: - How being in front of a class of 30 students helped him develop his confidence and communication skills; and how being a teacher helped him understand the trends around young people. - How his first TikTok video—a 7-second clip sent by his girlfriend of a seal jumping around and a hip-hop track—gave him 2 million views on just 24 hours. - Why we have just 1 second—yes, just one second—to grab people’s attention on social media. - The three Rs of a good piece of content. - What does his average day as a content creator looks like, and why starting with a big piece of content is the best approach. - Why giving your first ebook for free could end up being a better idea instead of selling it right away, and so much more; so, without further to say, please enjoy.
Today we have... just me. But it's still full of gold. I see so many people going on social media and trying to grow by grinding and spamming. They end up having a bunch of followers, but nobody truly supports them. There are so many amazing people online. You just have to know how to meet them. So that's exactly what I'm going to teach you today.
Todays episode is more of an inspirational story than just advice. I brought Naudia on because she has a deep understanding of the practice of gratitude. However, she ended up sharing her story and it really showed me how powerful gratitude can be. Even with all the things Naudia has gone through, you can still hear the peace and love in her heart when she talks. There is no end to the amount of things we can be grateful for.
Welcome to IMPRVMNT The Podcast Show. My name is Ichiro Takahashi, and each week we bring you the person or the message that will help you improve your life. This week, Amber Farooqui joins me to talk about influencer marketing, the good and the bad side of social media, fitness, networking, and self-development. Amber is a successful 20-year old online fitness coach, business coach, marketing student and content creator from Chicago.
Today we have a topic that I did not know much about: Spirituality. As you will hear in the episode, spirituality is not necessarily a religion. As I understand, it is simply the belief that we are all connected through forces beyond our own bodies. While not everybody is going to be a spiritual person, I think we can all take the lessons that Lawrence shares with us and apply them to our life in the way that is right for us.
This week, the CEO of Zero Negativity Clothing and former police officer Dan Gaunt joins me to talk about mental health issues, the fashion industry, how he basically networked his way through, the importance of an engaged audience when working with influencers, and so much more. With his business, and through the supply of organic cotton clothing, Dan has saved an estimated of 3 million liters of water, or, enough water to sustain 4.281 people for a full year, 8.903 kg of CO2 (equivalent to a car journey of 94.717 km), and enough energy to keep a 60 watts bulb lit for almost 5 years —all this in just one year! When he started his brand he had 0 experience in the fashion industry before, he never ran an online business before, in his words “he didn’t have a clue about graphic design”, and even yet he didn’t give up, he knew he wanted to make an impact on the world, he just needed to figure out how, and he did so. Now he’s running a eco-friendly clothing business that probably will close 2020 with £100.000 in sales.
My man Casper from Holland. This guy has every possible 'communication trick' out there. This episode was super fun for me because I learned everything about life through the art of communication. One of the main criticisms I hear about dating coaches is that they are teaching manipulation. While that may be true sometimes, I think a lot of these techniques can be analyzed to understand why some people are able to connect more easily through conversation. And as Casper said, over time you won't even need to think about it anymore, you will just be a natural conversationalist.
This week’s guest is my friend Kate Keel, who’s a successful core energy coach. She helps introverts to build their confidence, set boundaries and understand and respect their own needs, so they can live an authentic, fulfilling, and burnout-free life. We talked about her self-improvement journey, self-awareness, self-love, human consciousness, introversion, shyness, social anxiety, what a core energy coach is, her background, automatic and dysfunctional thoughts, and so much more. So, without further to say, please enjoy.

Caleb and Chris! What a convo! Join us in the first “improvised conversation” type of podcast episode we recorded. This definitely will keep us accountable with our goals.
Join us in our conversation where we discussed about religion, politics, free speech, consciousness and so much more.
How much influence do we have on the people that surrounds us and how much influence the people that surrounds us have on us. Join me and Caleb discuss during 1 hour mainly about this; that being said, we always switch topics so
I had the pleasure to talk with Caleb again. This time we went deeper on why you should be vlogging and why you probably are not trying it. Don’t experience technical stuff because we focused on the inspirational side. So, if you ever felt the desire to document your passion but you were so worried about somebody’s opinion that you quit, then this one is for you.
In this episode Alex (happy birthday bro) and I talked about some of his experiences over the ground and under...
