Happy Halloween! Or should we say Hallowthanksmas? We are switching gears and looking toward a bright and merry future! Kay talks with Rob, Brendan, Claire and Olivia about a "beary" special Toy Drive coming to Sacred Heart University everyone should take part in. Little Red's Toy Drive is happening NOW through the first weeks of December. What better way to bring Christmas Cheer to your neighbors in need than to Give a Toy and Spread the Joy? Over Thanksgiving break, Pioneers for Presents are asking students, faculty and staff and the greater SHU community to buy an unwrapped gift for a local child in need to have on Christmas morning. Pioneers for presents is partnering with the Campus Ministry Adopt-A-Family project and hope to Spread the Joy by Giving a Toy and reach their goal of 500 toys for children in local communities who need them most. Look for Pioneers for Presents in the hallway outside 63's, in global university emails, and on instagram and facebook "Little Red's Toy Drive" @little_reds_toy_drive for more updates on events and donation locations!
