We sit down with Jeff Cochran, the RVHS Athletic Director, and Slade Morgan, the RVMS and RVHS Principal to discuss the upcoming Winter Sports season in light of the AIA meeting that occurred on 1/12/2021. They share the information that we know, and what's coming up in the coming weeks for Basketball and Wrestling. A huge thanks to them for sitting down with us for an hour to help provide clarity where they can.

We then touch on the passing of Coaches Allen and Detmer while we discuss those that mattered most to us. Our coaches and mentors that shaped out lives. I wrapped up the podcast with a dedication to my Grandmother, one of the most dedicated sports fans I ever knew, who was taken 10 years ago after being hit by a drunk driver. Dan, Stephen, Ethan, and Wesley had the privilege of meeting with the principals of each of the Round Valley Schools (Slade Morgan, John Allen, and Mike McClellan) as well as the Assistant Athletic Director (Jeff Cochran) today. During this podcast we discuss the topics of leveraging technology to reach their students, how students without Internet can still get the work done, the current status of sports at Round Valley High School, the plight of our Seniors and Graduation, State Testing, and how much the principals miss having the students in the classrooms. We hope this is the first of many interactions with the school as we all adjust to school and work life during the COVID-19 pandemic.
