It's Friday afternoon, which means a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio is ready to massage your eardrums with an hour of off-season Oilers talk. On today's podcast, the fellas discussed the non-Oilers the boys loved on teams they hated, the Elks' hot run, another round of Ask the Idiots, line combinations, and more.We kicked off the Friday episode of ONR with a delicious debate about other NHL teams and specifically if there were any players on those teams that the boys loved even if they hated the team they played for. Whether it was Miikka Kiprusoff in Calgary or Corey Perry in Anaheim or Rick Nash on those terrible Columbus teams, there were a bunch of players the boys spoke about despite not necessarily liking their team. That also led to a discussion about players they currently despise for their success against the team.Shifting gears, the guys continued on with a conversation about Prime Video taking over Wednesday night hockey and three playoff series for the next 12 years. Given that hockey fans will need to add another subscription to watch games this year, the boys discussed whether or not the NHL is doing anything properly when it comes to growing the game. They also discussed Connor McDavid's comments on the Oilers' three-goalie setup, and whether or not anyone believes that this can last for more than a month or two. Finally, we wrapped up the Friday episode of ONR with another round of betting talk, discussed the Edmonton Elks' hot run in the CFL, worked through another round of Ask the Idiots questions, and finally, Hot and Cold Performers. While this week's episode followed the same general format, the Friday episode of ONR was all over the map with the lack of Oilers news. Even so, the boys had a lot of fun working through a few hockey stories before having the podcast wind up in the ditch from there.
