In honor of Pride month, Bria and her guest Nicco have a discussion about the stigma surrounding bisexual men. The two talk about the glorification of bisexual women but the shame put on bisexual men. Nicco gives a positive testimony about his decision to live in his truth a few years ago and, Bria asks Nicco whether he believes the black LGBTQ community and Black Lives matter have worked to become cohesive over this last year.
In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, Bria shares a brave testimony about being admitted into a psychiatric hospital. Bria is completely transparent about her traumatic experiences and how she affected by her hospital stay. Bria sheds light on why Mindphucked was created and the ways she continues to cope with her struggle with mental health.
This Thursday on Mindphucked, Bria brings the topic of the alpha and the beta personality to the table. AJ Burton and Veronica Caldwell return to the studio to talk about what makes a person an alpha and what makes them a beta. The three discuss how these personalities play out in intimate relationships and share which personality they believe they identify with most.

AJ shares a male perspective on sex work and his opinion on the long-term effects the industry places on mental health. This sequel focuses on the mental health implications when engaging in the industry while also highlighting the stigma that is fueled by sexism.

In this highly informative but entertaining episode Guests Darrell Strong and AJ Burton help Bria break down the current state of black America in a political sense. Together the three discuss their voting choices in this past election and the previous ones. Bria picks both men's brains to get to the bottom of their favor for Trump. Guest Darrell, goes into detail about the issue of the media's presence in politics.

Bria, Evion, & Shay have an open dialogue about the many problems minorities face in the Behavioral Health Care system from non culturally competent care to the over-diagnosing of Scziophrenia in black males. Evion discusses mental health statistics specifically in the black LGBTQI community and talks about his own experience in mental health as a Black Gay male. The crew also highlights local clothing line, MADEMOBB, for partnering with The Kansas City Black Mental Health Initiative to provide free one on one therapy sessions for anyone in KC. The crew wraps up the show talking about their self-care plans as well as giving local mental health resources, particularly for individuals with low income or no insurance.

This week, Bria, Shay, Evion, and guest Iesha talk about the healthcare system and the troubles they've faced accessing it. Shay and Bria compare their Dr. office experiences with one being married and the other single. Evion and Iesha unpack their uncomfortable experiences in the Dr. office as members of the LGBTQ community. The crew sheds must needed light on the disparities in health care in the black community.
With Evion on vacation, Bria, LMSW Shay, and guest Jarelle Bryant have a girls night at the studio. The girls share their pregnancy/birthing stories including the flaws they experienced in their healthcare. Jarelle shares her testimony on why she became a doula and also provides background on the important role doula’s play during childbearing. The girls also discuss postpartum, health disparities in the black female community, and much more.
On this 3rd installment of “Oh to Be Black in America” the Mindphucked crew is breaking down a reoccurring societal issue in the black community, colorism. Bria breaks down the history of colorism dating back to the 1600s and how attitudes on the different shades of brown have been passed down generationally. In addition to colorism, the crew also get deep into dating outside of the black race and black people who identify with white culture as opposed to their native culture.
