This week on Out Of The Woods Radio, the guys are back, again, at this point it's just kind of their thing, but they are back to discuss what's been going on these past few months. Two months is along time for anyone, even if it doesn't necessarily feel like it is at the time. Big changes could be on the horizon for LA Ian as it could be back to intern status for him. Meanwhile in Tik Tok Land, Monger Man has been working on solving the riddle that is the Tik Tok viral algorithm. And Woody finally moved.

Back for what seems like the 7th time, OOTW returns for the spring season! After a busy April, involving selling a house, blowing up on Tik Tok and landing a second acting gig, Woody, Ian and Pete aka Monger Man, sit down to discuss their busy past month, how NFT's are seemingly taking over their lives and the lives of others, and how to process reaching a fork in the road in your young career. Last, the 3 discuss recent Covid and vaccine developments in an attempt to model what Covid conversations could sound like when done in a safe space, whatever that means.

It's the end of an era here at Battle Creek Studios. Woody, LA Ian, and Monger Man kick things off this episode discussing the recent news that Woody is selling the house that started it all. After taking a trip down memory lane the three discuss why Pizza Ranch may be the worst pizza out there, LA Ian's new head shots, and potential West Coast house plans for 2022/2023.

Picking up where we left off, both LA Ian and Monger Man have big momentum gaining events occur seemingly at the same time, and upon discussing their latest moves another name change may be in the cards for the guy formerly known as Smiguel 38. After discussing how we all may be exiting the midwest in the near future, LA Ian breaks down his new video game obsession, and we all chime in on where we see the future of the digital world trending towards.

After a crucial error by new intern Craig, in which we had to ultimately fire him for, Out Of The Woods Radio is back! We have new music to debut, hence the longer than normal intro, updates from LA, envy for Tik Tok-ers who can buy their own houses at 20 years old, and a little GME talk to round it all out. Part 2 of the 2020 recap series, this time with Monger Man aka Producer Pete! After a brief breakdown of what it's like to be a college student in the covid era, we go deep into what new music Monger Man has been working on, his new studio setup, Taylor Swift future album predictions, and a few other surprises sprinkled in there along the way. We're back! Again! After realizing that 2020 was simply just not going to get any better, we decided to call it for the year and regroup for 2021. A lot has happened since then, including the graduation of Ian the Intern into LA Ian. Why the name change? We discuss this and why we now love Pepsi and The Weeknd so much.

After a brief physics lesson on sound from Professor Mongerman himself, OOTW Radio jumps into what has become the hot button topic of the summer: Fall Guys. Admittedly Woody, Ian the Intern and Smiguel38, are novices when it comes to the game, but the three parlay the conversation into the more aggressive topic of micro-transactions in the video game world. To finish off the episode the three recap their week, with a deeper look into how environment and personal surroundings impact and affect motivation, and the influences behind the reasoning of creating for you versus creating for others.

Back with regularly scheduled programing. After recapping their week, the Out Of The Woods Radio crew take a stroll down memory lane to reminisce of simpler times when they were 17 and seemingly had their entire lives ahead of them, or at least up until a pandemic. Woody, Ian the Intern and Producer Pete (aka Monger Man, fka Smiguel38) all take a look back to what went into determining what school they would ultimately choose to attend as freshmen, why all three somehow ended up transferring to a different school, and if there's anything they learned from those decisions that they can apply in their current lives as they move forward. We're Back! Again! Although this time it wasn't totally our fault. Finally able to be around people again since Woody tested positive for covid, OOTW Radio is back and ready to finish off what has been a super awesome year in 2020... This week Woody, Ian the Intern and Producer Pete aka Monger Man, dive into what it's been like to be unemployed, how that's affected their work on their personal projects, and what it's been like to not interact with other people for a sustained amount of time.

This week on Out Of The Woods Radio, Woody, newly minted Unemployed Ian, and Producer Pete (aka Monger Man), sat down and discussed where things are at currently with their unemployment journeys. After a brief recap of how Studio A came to be, we get caught up on where Superbia (@Superbia.us) is headed after their Spring/Summer drop from last week. Later we talk a bit about Producer Pete's beat making ventures (@MongaMongaBeats) and the BS that is 360 deals in the industry.

Back to our roots this week as it's a Woody and Ian the (former) Intern duo pod, all about jobs. With both Ian and Woody in similar places in life - recent college grads, wandering about in the job market like two chickens with their heads cut off - the two discuss the joys of what it feels like today, in modern times, to be going through the process of trying to find a job. They talk advice, and how most of it is terrible, what they're looking for in a job or a career in 2020, the hiring process vs the training process, financial independence, and a bunch of other stuff as they try to process the dance of trying to convince someone to hire you. Hopefully you find something relatable if you're in a job hunt yourself, or thinking about going out and finding a new job soon. And if you're someone who tends to feel like they give out a lot of advice, especially on this topic, maybe there's some insight into how to be better at that going forward. Or maybe Yellowstone is going to erupt soon and this all won't matter anyway. Yikes, that got dark. Enjoy!

We recorded this a while back, believe it's date stamped in the episode May 21st, but didn't feel right uploading it last week with everything going on in the country, and rightfully so. There were definitely more important things going on that took up our time and attention, and even if we don't have the same numbers as other podcasts out there, doing the right thing is still more important than putting out a new episode on time, and we want to be a part of that even when it's not convenient. We're not looking for praise or a pat on the back, it's not about us, but we will work to be a part of the solution going forward. But now we're back, and hopefully uploading more regularly going forward. Thanks for listening, and if you just found us, please don't overly hate us, we still kind of suck at this podcasting thing, but we're always trying to get better!On this episode, after recapping the week(s), in an attempt to have some fun in the middle of the pandemic, we run through an activity that Ian the Intern and Woody are quite fond of; what would you do if you won the lottery? Some answers are quite predictable, others may be a bit perplexing, but either way none of us actually won last week. Maybe this week is our lucky break, but probably not.

We're not dead yet! Still hanging on during quarantine, the OOTW crew decided to green light a new music segment while waiting for stay at home orders to expire. Open Mic Night (working title) is a collection of songs that each member of OOTW has picked from their recently played playlists. Selection processes varied, and reasoning behind each song may be debated at a later date, but for now, hopefully, this helps pass the time until the next show.

Still stuck in quarantine, OOTW Radio is back with a double upload week. In this episode, Woody, Ian the Intern and Producer Pete, sit down to discuss the importance of planning and process, and how those two concepts fit into how they go about working through the creation and completion of their day to day tasks. How do they adapt, what happens when they reach a barrier, and how does it all come into play during a time like today when the world seemingly is at a stand still. But first, in relation to what has been keeping the three of them busy lately, they dive into what they each believe to be the best video game console of their lifetime. Let the debate begin.

Albeit quarantined and social distancing ourselves, OOTW is back with episode 9 as we stay inside for the foreseeable future. This week, Woody and Ian the Intern are joined once again by Producer Pete to discuss what they've been up to since the world seemingly shut down, plans both before and after corona-virus for Pete's upcoming 21st birthday, as well as the pros and cons of employee parties, although it's mostly cons. Hopefully by next pod we have a more uplifting outlook on life, but for now we'll just get back to washing our hands and supporting our local restaurants.

Anyway, OOTW Radio is back with Episode 8 where Woody and Ian the Intern take a stroll down memory lane, where they find themselves discussing what else, social media. Undoubtedly we all come in contact with social media in our day to day lives, and whether it's been MySpace, Facebook, Instagram or TikTok, how we use social media probably says more about us than anything these days. Hopefully there's a few things you remember about our stories from the golden age of social media, and maybe you even feel tempted to go and log in to that old MySpace page from 2006...

After recapping the week and building off the end of episode 6, Woody and Ian the Intern break down one of the main staples of what they hope Superbia LLC one day looks like; Superbia Skate Team. Digging into what inspired us to venture into the world and culture of the skate community, we hope that our conversation/brainstorm session gives you insight into how an idea turns into a concept, and what all goes into making it work. And why those early conversations and plans can be important to the overall process, even if down the line it doesn't turn into anything. As they say, you'll never know if you don't go... Greetings Friend! Fresh off the plane from LAX, sans cardigans, Out Of The Woods Radio is back in Minnesota and definitely not missing the LA weather whatsoever... This week Woody and Ian recap their recent trip to LA, how it sucks being back, what they miss most, and how the overall vibe of being in LA inspires and influences many aspects of everyday life in general. In the second half of the episode, the two dive into Superbia; where it's going, what about LA is driving the Superbia culture, and insights into our process in developing it from the beginning.
