"Our state fair is a great state fair!" And so are our county and local fairs and festivals! Georgie schools us on the majesty of the Wisconsin State Faire and we all reminisce about a childhood spent among the cornstalks. This week's guest is the wonderful, talented Sophie aka Ever's friend from college. Growing up in the Tennessee, she was exposed to different hegemonic beauty standards than Ever and his Midwestern friends. Tune in for a discussion of regional differences in beauty standards, embarrassing high school memories, and lots of laughs. Oh, and obviously, we know beauty standards are bad. 

Listen, we know we said we'd be telling you all about the Bristol Renaissance Faire this week, but when we got the opportunity to speak with a local celebrity, we knew we needed to take it! Though we each had many, many Midwestern malls which greatly shaped our childhoods and especially our teen years, the biggest standout is obviously Rockford's own Cherryvale Mall.
