Tamara Lich is a Canadian activist and organizer known for her role in the 2022 Freedom Convoy protest in Ottawa, where she was one of the main leaders and spokespersons. Lich has been involved in several movements, including the Yellow Vest protests in Alberta (2018–2019), the Wexit separatist movement, and the Maverick Party, where she served as secretary of its Western Canadian Governing Council.  She advocates for constitutional reform and greater autonomy for Western Canada, citing regional differences in policy needs. The national narrative is that Iran's leadership has been decapitated and that we are destroying the enemy. What is not being discussed is the second, third and fourth order effects of a decapitation strategy in a country of 92 million people, with a population that is 29.4 percent Shia Muslim. In 1953, the CIA and British intelligence orchestrated a coup to overthrow Iran's democratically elected Prime Minister, Mohammad Mosaddegh, who had nationalized the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company (later British Petroleum). The Shaw was installed returning majority control of the oil business back to the USA and UK. Since the Islamic revolution that ousted the Shaw in 1979, all we have done is demonize Iran.
