Brown Crown Uncut Episode with Teyana McAfee
Uncut Interview with Raven Washington
Uncut Episode from the Brown Crown
Through this podcast episode, I interviewed young African American women ages 20-23 to tell their stories of self-discovery, self-love, and the vision they hold for their lives. I helped them explore areas in their life, look at where they want to see themselves, and the steps necessary to get them there. I listened to how they may limit themselves and how they uplift themselves. I wanted to know more about what they may have seen or heard that influenced their understanding of who they are or who they think they should be. The goal of this podcast is to allow listeners to hear and understand stories from young black women to help them discover more of who they are without limitations. Dismantling limitations they may have for themselves or limitations they believe have been bestowed upon them. Black women are among the most neglected and disrespected people in the world and I want to create a space for their stories to be told and remembered. This podcast is called the Brown Crown. Ultimately figuring out, what shapes your Brown Crown?
