Send us a textIt's July 10th, and the Daily Drop is back with Jared dropping truth bombs harder than a B-1 on afterburner. From the announcement of the next Operator Training Summit in Nashville (spoiler: it's gonna slap) to the Pentagon lobbing real ones at Iran, this episode's got more hot takes than a Twitter war during a government shutdown.Jared breaks down military logistics like your drunk uncle explaining the NFL draft—passionate, slightly unhinged, but mostly right. He rants about AF simulators being broken garbage, drones flying into everything, the VA being predictably dysfunctional, and why the Air Force is still pretending they might keep the B-1 (spoiler: they're not). Also, the Space Force apparently needs another $6 billion. For what? Who knows. If you like your defense briefings with a side of sarcasm, a shot of cynicism, and topped with real-world experience, this one's for you.

It's our 600th episode! I'm Kati Whitledge, and when I launched the Beyond The Technique podcast in 2016, there were no American podcasts for salon owners—so I created one. In this milestone episode, I'm sharing the five biggest lessons I've learned through hundreds of unscripted conversations with salon pros, educators, and leaders, and how podcasting helped grow my salon, build my network, and scale our software company, mya. Today's word of the day is ‘consequences' as in the NHL as in NIL as in Canada as in change. Gavin McKenna is the lock of all locks to be the No. 1 pick in the 2026 NHL Draft. And he's going to college. A top Canadian JR player headed to the US is unheard of. But NIL has changed the world of hockey forever. (11:00) We have another investigation into an MLB agent. Another case of an agent taking advantage of a foreign player. It's sad. Someone had asked me a question about MLB owners and the MLBPA so let me answer that. (25:45) We have an F1 update! Christian Horner has been fired by Red Bull. Wow. (33:00) Review: Dept. Q. (36:30) Draymond Green sounded off on the new CBA. He said free agency is dead. He said players aren't educated on business. 286: We are talking about abortion, but not only about whether it's right or wrong, but about both the mental and physical health effects abortion has on the mother. These effects aren't just temporary, but lifelong, and may not even appear until decades after the woman has the abortion. I have Seth Gruber on the show, who is THE top pro-life activist in my opinion, and founder of The White Rose Resistance, author of the book and movie The 1964 Project, as well as a husband and father. Whether you are pro-life or pro-choice, this episode exposes hidden facts about how abortion affects a woman's health FOREVER. We are talking about breast cancer, sepsis, mental issues, and so much more that most, if not all, women are not aware of nor informed about prior to getting an abortion. Topics Discussed: → Protecting women's health! → Breast cancer linked to abortion → Mental health → Is the abortion pill more dangerous than giving birth? → Financial ties in planned parenthood → Increased risk for miscarriages later in life → Is having an abortion to save a mother required? The Bridge District sounds like one of those buzzy, made-up neighborhoods that suddenly pop up on a map…and it kind of is! It's a new $1.5 billion development along the Anacostia River in Southeast DC, with plans for seven buildings, more than 2,000 residential units, 90,000 square feet of retail, green space, and more. We sat down with Axios reporter Mimi Montgomery to break down what it means for the neighborhood — and for the people who already live there. Want some more DC news? Let's be real, nothing has shifted my understanding of God's love like stepping into foster care and adoption. It took me out of my comfort zone and showed me what it really means to love like the Father. And here's the crazy part: According to Galatians 4:4-5 that's exactly what God did for us. He didn't just rescue me. He adopted me. Gave me His name. Brought me home. I didn't earn it. I couldn't deserve it. But now, because of Jesus, I'm not just forgiven... I'm family. This week in Unhinged, we're diving deep into what it means to be adopted by God and why that changes everything. Come ready. This one hits different. The heartbeat of Church on the Rock is to help people discover how they can LOVE God and LOVE one another, LIVE with passion, purpose and freedom, and LEAD others to this same experience in Jesus. We simply say, “helping others Love, Live, and Lead in Jesus". Boobie, Modd, Caleb, and Aaron hold it down with surprise drop-ins from Zay and Kev. The crew gets into how they first linked with YBR, what it really means to bridge the gap between old and new school cool kids, and the true mission behind the movement. Plenty of laughs, wild stories, and real talk all the way through. If you talk Savannah culture, you gotta talk YBR. Tap in — this one's for the books!
We're returning to the Fastiverse's side story, Hobbs & Shaw, and we're bringing Ross Benes (1999: The Year Low Culture Conquered America and Kickstarted Our Bizarre Times) along to talk about it! We ask how he defines “low culture” in his book, then ask the hard-hitting question: is Fast and Furious low culture? Ross shares his abbreviated history with the franchise. Joe asks: what would the reaction to Hobbs & Shaw have been if it weren't tied to the franchise? Ross unknowingly relates this movie to TV shows near and dear to both of our hearts. We talk about how the movie does a really good job of opening with action tied to the plot and finally land on a good idea of why Hobbs may be into Hattie. In this episode of The Roller Coaster Podcast, I sit down once again with my friend James Dykes, one of the few guests we've ever invited back. The first time James shared his story, it reached tens of millions of people across social media. But behind the viral numbers was a man who walked through unthinkable loss, the death of his wife, deep grief, and personal trauma, and still chose to show up with vulnerability and faith. This time, we go even deeper. James opens up about the emotional aftermath of sharing his story with the world, the love, the hate, the healing, and the spiritual wrestle that followed. We talk about fatherhood, men's mental health, navigating grief publicly, and how suffering has shaped his faith and purpose. He shares how his pain has now become a catalyst for writing, for building community, and for stepping into a life of coaching, consulting, and hope.If you're carrying something heavy, this episode is a reminder: you're not alone.James's honesty will challenge you, comfort you, and move you to believe that beauty still rises from the ashes.Key Moments:0:00 The Viral Reel That Changed Everything3:12 Why We Had to Do This Again8:53 Surrendering the Outcome12:33 The Pain Behind the Hate17:26 Finding a Brotherhood in Grief23:42 The Power of Not Being Alone28:26 Holding Space for Both Joy and Sorrow33:13 James's Lifelong Journey Through Suffering36:50 Returning to the Garden42:53 A Vision for Leadership and Wholeness46:04 Reading the Testimony54:28 A Message to the LonelyGuest Info:IG: @jamesdykes1987 (https://www.instagram.com/jamesdykes1987/)-Where to find Tyler Hall: LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/tylerchall/ Newsletter: https://www.linkedin.com/newsletters/the-tyler-hall-archives-7018241874482122753/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/sirTHALL Work with Tyler: https://www.tylerchristianhall.com/
We're back for our third Judy Blume text with Forever! The 1975 book was written to candidly discuss a sexual relationship between teens and even if some aspects don't quite hold up, Brenna and Joe find its frankness refreshing. On the flip side, the Netflix series from 2025 falls somewhere between IP cash grab and spiritual adaptation. Creator Mara Brock Akil interprets the text through a celebratory Black lens, though we could do with less blocking and breaking up between Keisha and Justin.Plus: musicality, stereotypical secondary characters, the most excessive house porn we've seen, and Brenna's pandemic speculation about the series' 2nd season.Reference: Candace Frederick. It was supposed to be one single out-of-control Wall Street bank. When authorities were forced to look into the matter, what they uncovered was a shocking. Not one but EVERYONE. Yet, after uncovering what was going on, the full astonishing scale, they never figured out WHY. And that was the whole thing, what the scandal said about a world that had already drastically changed. In this episode of the Jewish Inspiration Podcast, Rabbi Aryeh Wolbe explores the 17th gate of generosity from Orchos Tzaddikim (page 561, Treasure for Life edition) during a "Mussar Mondays" Masterclass. He redefines generosity as a heart-driven trait encompassing not just financial giving but also kindness, wisdom, and physical effort, using Abraham's hospitality and advocacy as a model. Generosity, he explains, elevates one spiritually and socially, yielding rewards in this world and the next, as illustrated by a story of a man in Ashdod whose father's kindness decades earlier led to an unexpectedly lavish wedding for his daughter.Rabbi Wolbe emphasizes that generosity is a divine loan, citing King Solomon's teaching to “cast your bread upon the water” for future returns. He highlights three forms of generosity—monetary, physical, and intellectual—and encourages proactive giving without calculation, as God replenishes the giver. Tied to the Torch campaign at GiveTorch.net, the episode inspires listeners to embrace generosity as a transformative act that aligns with divine will and fosters connection, urging them to judge others favorably and share wisdom to uplift the world.Recorded at TORCH Centre in the Levin Family Studios (B) to a live audience on March 10, 2025, in Houston, Texas.Released as Podcast on July 6, 2025_____________This series on Orchos Tzadikim/Ways of the Righteous is produced in partnership with Hachzek.Join the revolution of daily Mussar study at hachzek.com.We are using the Treasure of Life edition of the Orchos Tzadikkim (Published by Feldheim)_____________Listen, Subscribe & Share: Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/jewish-inspiration-podcast-rabbi-aryeh-wolbe/id1476610783Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/4r0KfjMzmCNQbiNaZBCSU7) to stay inspired! This week on America on the Road, co-host Chris Teague kicks things off behind the wheel of the 2025 Ford Mustang GT. Still powered by its iconic 5.0-liter Coyote V8, the latest Mustang GT delivers up to 486 horsepower when equipped with the available active-valve performance exhaust. Buyers can choose between a classic 6-speed manual or a smooth 10-speed automatic, both of which channel power to the rear wheels for a traditional muscle car feel. The design remains bold and unmistakably Mustang, while the interior has taken a high-tech leap with a new 13.2-inch touchscreen, customizable digital gauges, and improved connectivity. But does its unique blend of heritage, raw performance, and new tech work in 2025? Chris and Jack will offer their opinions. The episode of America on the Road, hosted by Jack Nerad and co-hosted by Chris Teague, is stuffed with the latest car reviews, industry news, and interviews from across the automotive world. The compelling stories range from an electric supercar concept to a shipwreck full of Chinese EVs to a legal battle over EV charging infrastructure. Plus, we welcome a special guest for part one of a two-part interview you won't want to miss. In our second road test, Jack Nerad gets his hands on the all-new 2025 Genesis GV80 Coupe 3.5T E-SC MHEV, a bold, tech-heavy entry into the luxury SUV-coupe segment. With a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6, electric supercharger, and 48-volt mild-hybrid setup, the classy coupe delivers smooth and responsive power to all four wheels. Its sloped roofline, 22-inch wheels, and a richly appointed interior featuring Nappa leather, a 27-inch OLED display, and premium audio by Bang & Olufsen, combine to give the GV80 Coupe exceptional appeal inside and out. It's big on comfort, big on features, and although its fuel economy isn't class-leading, the overall package offers an appealing alternative to pricier European rivals. But is it resonating with luxury buyers the way we think it should? In the news this week, Mercedes-AMG has revealed the Concept AMG GT XX, a jaw-dropping electric performance prototype previewing the future of the brand. Featuring three compact axial flux motors and more than 1,341 horsepower, this concept can reach 223 mph and offers ultra-fast charging with next-generation battery cooling. A cargo ship carrying over 3,000 vehicles, including hundreds of EVs and hybrids, has sunk off Alaska following a fire that burned for nearly three weeks. Investigators are still probing whether the fire started in the area where electric vehicles were stored, highlighting growing concerns about EV safety during ocean transport, not to mention in everyday driving. Tesla finds itself in legal hot water in France over its Full Self-Driving system. French regulators accuse the automaker of misleading marketing, improper prepayment handling, and misrepresenting the vehicle's autonomous capabilities, warning Tesla it has until October to correct the issues or face substantial daily fines. And as our final news story, a federal judge has temporarily blocked the Trump administration's freeze on $5 billion in EV charger infrastructure funding. The ruling allows 14 states to move forward with their clean transportation projects, challenging what one judge views as an unlawful and abrupt policy shift. Our special guest this week is Tim Seward, chief designer at ONYX Motor Bikes. In the first part of this two-part conversation that will continue next week, Tim shares how he helped turn a backyard project into a breakout success story in electric mobility. His approach to design and innovation offers a fresh take on how small companies can disrupt big industries. And in our listener question segment, Lemmuel from Salt Lake City asks, “My check engine light is on. What's the first thing I should check?” We offer practical, no-nonsense advice on diagnosing the issue before it becomes something more serious. So there's plenty of show this week.

We're talking about the actual moment when a judge sentenced a mass murderer to death while the killer sat there displaying the same charm and manipulation that allowed him to butcher dozens of innocent women. Our exclusive investigation reveals never-before-discussed details about what happened behind the scenes during this groundbreaking trial, including suppressed evidence, witness testimonies that were never aired, and connections to other unsolved cases that law enforcement still refuses to acknowledge. The Bundy sentencing footage reveals disturbing details about how the legal system handled the most dangerous predator in American history, and why certain evidence was deliberately excluded from public view. From the courtroom psychology to the media manipulation, from the suppressed witness accounts to the ongoing mysteries surrounding Bundy's true victim count, this episode exposes how one trial changed everything about how we prosecute serial killers. The uncut footage shows moments that were too disturbing for broadcast television—moments that reveal the true nature of human evil. We'll reveal what the cameras caught that law enforcement tried to suppress, how Bundy's behavior during sentencing connected to psychological profiles that are still classified, and why this footage remains one of the most important documents in criminal justice history. This isn't just about one killer—it's about understanding how evil operates and how our system responds to pure predation. From the victims' families' reactions to Bundy's final manipulative performance, from the judge's historic statements to the media circus that followed, this episode presents the complete story of a sentencing that marked the end of an era of innocence and the beginning of our modern understanding of serial murder. From the victims' families' reactions to Bundy's final manipulative performance, from the judge's historic statements to the media circus that followed, this episode presents the complete story of a sentencing that marked the end of an era of innocence and the beginning of our modern understanding of serial murder.Stream exclusively on Spreaker for uncensored bonus content about the suppressed evidence, or find us on Amazon Music (ask your Alexa about Ted Bundy Chi Omega), Apple Podcasts, Spotify, iHeartRadio, and everywhere true crime obsessives get their unfiltered reality.
