Haven't given y'all any content so it's well overdue especially with all of us sitting at home jobless due to the Corona virus! So here's a podcast with personal life updates a long with news from a semi credible source lol I wouldn't quote me! Soooo I never really updated yall since I got back from Nigeria, then a few weeks went by and I didn't tell yall about Europe. Here I am a few weeks later telling it all. I also recorded another episode right after this that I'll be releasing soon. I recorded them in my underwear and didn't do video on them but, thanks for listening.

I recorded this Wednesday April 10th, 2 days before my trip to Nigeria for my grandma's (dad's mom) burial and also the day that I got written up for some of the pettiest stuff you can imagine. With only one offense left in the 3 strikes you're out game, I'm on my best behavior at work. It also helps that I (as long as my visa documents are sent to me in next 8 hours) will be away from work for 9 days and in Nigeria for 7 of them. This isn't my typical podcast but I needed to vent or rant, and I did, from my living room into my mic. I thank all of you for listening and know y'all respect my honesty. After weeks of rescheduling and changing topics ya boy is finally back with episode 19 for your listening pleasure. Crazily enough it had been so long I forgot how I used to do my intros smh lol. This episode was about what it's like being single and dating in Los Angeles. The guests I had on were Christian aka CP [@christianmechale] and my boy Rick aka [@djgetchamoney]. We talked about dating expectations, shared stories of getting played and just talked about why it's so crappy tryna find that special someone in the City of Angels lmao. There was a brief spontaneous interruption in audio but we bounced back. Hope ya'll enjoy it, the next episode will be the Season one Finale and after that I'll be taking a hiatus to figure out how I want to approach Season 2. Back after a few weeks of hiatus, but this one was worth it! This episode was a conversation between my friends Leslie [@mschacon1990], Destiny [@dessssstinyyyyyy] (5 s' and 6 y's) and myself about controlling relationships. These ladies went through unbelievable circumstances in their relationships and thankfully, years later are now both in loving relationships. They recount verbal abuse, physical abuse, kidnapping. threats etc. I'm not gonna say too much more but ladies please pick your partners wisely and get with someone that will treat you right. Fellas that doesn'e exclude you either, I wasn't able to find a guy who wanted to come talk about his experience in a controlling relationship but it happens both ways. I ain't apologizing no more lmao I have a life and it ain't perfect (as yall know). We had fun talking about who pays for what in relationshps and if ya'll don't wanna pay for nothing I suggest getting with Mont lmao. I had a more realistic mindset about things (in my opinion) and said the woman should contribute financially somehwere betwenn 30-50% if possible. I don't got time to type out everything I wanna say right now but just give it a listen and hopefully I type the rest of this soon smh lol. It's almost midnight Monday July 23rd and I recorded this 5 days ago on Wednesday the 18th. I went into it like alot of my other episodes, no questions written down and just going with the flow. It was informational and crazily enough, even funny at times hearing the stories of how two of my high school friends suffered from eating disorders and how they got through it. I think it's definitely worth listening to and worth sharing with anyone who might find it interesting or anyone who might be going through it as well. Last week I interviewed celebrity personal trainer Donald Alexander Jr. He told me his rags to riches story from working as a full time Uber driver to bartending and sleeping at a friend's place to moving to LA and suddenly being recommended by friends to celebrity clients. It's a very interesting story worth hearing and I can't wait to do more of these with people that I come across. I had a few friends of mine that are lesbian, formerly lesbian lol and gay come tell the stories of when they knew their sexuality and how their families took the news. Towards the end we talk about trans people a bit because Dorian, Amirah's female-to-male ex was supposed to come on this week but didn't last minute. I had my good ol' supervisor from work [@kevinrva] repeat guest [@itsnancypantss] and 1st timer [babygirrljess] on the mics. The conversation ranged from Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake, Justin Beiber to Danielle Bregoli aka Bhad Bhabie and Woah Vicky. We also talked about if certain hairstyles like individuals (braids) french braids and dreadlocks are considered appropriating black culture. There's times when the conversation swayed (like when we start talking about representation of people of color in tv/movies) but it all ties in. Also I wanna say that I tried my best to get a latina on the guest panel so the conversation didn't seem too one sided with the opinion of mostly black people but as you all know I still struggle with getting guests to confim and be serious about showing up. Had a very insightful conversation this week about colorism with a few young ladies Jennifer [@_j.sky], Lilly and [@Lillynaavi] and Ashley (she doesn't have social media). It was interesting to me this whole week talking to my friends/coworkers and finding out how many of them didn't even know what colorism is or that it existed. I think one of the examples we see most is within the black community, with things like "team light skin or team dark skin" but I wanted to make a point to show that this happens with pretty much all people of color on some level. I didn't have any males other than myslef (because no males seemed interested in the topic) but it still came out good. I won't bore you with any more to read, listen to the episode, pay attention and maybe you'll take something from it. I'm gonna do this again with people from different backgrounds, and I think it'll be another good conversation. Stay tuned and follow me on ig.

Katrina (@curiositykilleddkat) is Filipina, Abby (@super_abbz) is Salvadorean and Christian (@custarroz) is a mix of several things, as for myself my dad is from Nigeria and my momma is from Louisiana. We talk about how our families would react to us bringing home someone of a different race and talk about the world's views on it as well. It was a conversation that started off with us giving our thoughts on if a woman has sex on the 1st date is she a hoe? Ain't too much to say about this one, I think it was definitely funnier than Episode 1 and I plan to try to make each episode better than the last if I can, whether in terms of funny moments or educational info. So Episode 1 didn't kick off the way that I expected. I had a pretty good topic, I had potential guests but in the end nobody came through. I was texting people down to the last hour but couldn't confirm anybody so I ended up going to go pick up my big sis Dominique and we just kinda talked about random stuff honestly. It still came out funny but I think/hope that after people hear what these sound like and the potential in them that they'll be more serious about accepting an invitation to talk. And I sure hope so man cuz if not eff yall!
