Then we hit the comment section: is going off-registry rude? are toddlers sitting on restaurant tables actually a crime? and are “self-driving” cars even self-driving? We wrap with something that genuinely reframed our week: toddlers are hardwired to hit, run, climb, and tantrum. It's NOT personal. It's developmental. Cortney texts her sister, Candis, asking if she has any hand-me-downs she can use for a baby. Which is a confusing question for Candis because she had no clue her sister was pregnant. No one did.  Nonetheless, Candis learns of her new baby nephew, born prematurely, and still in the NICU.  About a week passes and the sisters don't text until new mom Cortney breaks the news to Candis...   “My son passed away... **Note: When stuff in Iran goes down, my natural inclination is to avoid doing content and stay above the fray, at least until the media hysteria dies down.  Not the best way to run a media project, I know, but I just have a hard time with all the breathless coverage--BREAKING!!!--and don't really want to feed it. The exact statutory term from 10 U.S.C. §§ 332-333 . The language that unlocks the Insurrection Act of 1807. Georgetown Law professor Martin Lederman publishes analysis within days. The executive order mirrors Section 334 requirements. The formal proclamation to disperse before military deployment. It designates unlawful actors, issues formal warning, establishes consequences. Governors dismiss it as political theater. Constitutional attorneys recognize something else. The proclamation was already issued. Trump just didn't announce it as such.
