Valparaíso respira a través de sus muros, pero la delgada línea entre el arte y el vandalismo sigue en disputa constante. En un nuevo capítulo de "Crónicas de un Gueto" por Ritoque FM, Patricio y Danilo Veas abrieron los micrófonos para debatir sobre el impacto del muralismo y el graffiti de cara a los 500 años del puerto. Para profundizar en este inmenso lienzo urbano, el estudio recibió a Hugo Pizarro, gestor cultural del colectivo Mural Parlante, y a Aldo, artista gráfico y músico. La conversación trazó el origen histórico de estas expresiones: mientras el muralismo nace en México con un fuerte fin político y educativo, el graffiti surge en Estados Unidos como una cruda expresión de identidad en la calle. El debate no eludió la controversia sobre el daño al patrimonio y las rígidas e ineficientes normativas del Consejo de Monumentos Nacionales, que a menudo terminan castigando con multas millonarias a quienes intentan limpiar sus propias fachadas. Seis días después de los terremotos en Venezuela, el número de muertos y desaparecidos sigue aumentando. Encontrar a los supervivientes es cada vez más complicado. No solo para quienes están allí, sino para amigos y familiares que están en el extranjero. Un ejemplo es Eduardo Campos, que vive en Marín, Pontevedra. Conoce muy bien a la familia Hernández Taberneiro: Yhosnaby, Adela y sus hijos Ulises y Lía, que viajaron a Venezuela de vacaciones y estaban en La Guaira el pasado 24 de junio. Sus hijos son mejores amigos. “Vi las imágenes y empecé a tener muchísimo miedo”, cuenta Campos, que pronto se enteró de que el edifico en el que estaba la familia se había derrumbado. “Llegué al trabajo y no fui capaz de hacer nada en todo el día. Literalmente estaba delante del ordenador como un zombi, pasando vídeos continuamente, intentando buscar información, y el resultado era siempre el mismo: que seguían desaparecidos y que no había noticias”. Desde Venezuela, la corresponsal de EL PAÍS, María Martín, ha hablado con Mabel Hernández, la hermana de Yhosvani, sobre lo último que se sabe de la familia y sus intentos de encontrarlos: “Eso pasó el miércoles.
