The [DS] is now panicking, their money laundering scheme is being exposed, the people now know that they funnel money via NGO’s and shell companies. This is bigger than anyone could ever imagine. For the past several years Germany has been deconstructing their fossil fuel energy production and replacing it with far more expensive alternatives. This has led to large increases in overall energy prices, and downstream increases in manufacturing costs. The consequences have been snowballing throughout 2025, while cheap competitive alternatives coming into the EU from China have compounded their problem. Recently a survey of major industries was conducted in Germany to determine the forecast for 2026, the results are not good. Approximately half of the industrial sectors in Germany are anticipating job losses, cuts or layoffs this year. 22 out of 46 business associations are preparing to downsize their labor force. Only 9 of the 46 are expected to increase hiring. Job losses are expected in auto manufacturing, the textile sector, wood and paper fabrication. Job gains are expected in aerospace, shipbuilding and defense production – i.e. the war machinery. When the largest and most developed industrial economy in Europe is pinning its economic survival on war machinery, a particular momentum is created. It is never a good outcome for Europe when Germany becomes reliant on war to maintain employment. This pledge represents a fraction of historical U.S. contributions, which have reached up to $17 billion in recent years, with voluntary funding often in the $8-10 billion range. Administration officials describe the amount as sufficient to keep America as the world's top humanitarian donor while demanding greater efficiency from UN agencies. The funding will flow through an umbrella mechanism controlled by the UN's Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), allowing targeted distribution to specific crises and countries. Initial priorities include 17 nations such as Bangladesh, Congo, Haiti, Syria, and Ukraine. Notably absent from the list are Afghanistan and the Palestinian territories, with officials stating Gaza aid will tie into ongoing peace efforts. Source: discernreport.com War/Peace Did US Land Strikes On Venezuela Begin Last Week & No One Knew It? President Trump on Friday in a radio interview disclosed something which missed the attention of the US and global media. He let slip that a large land site had been knocked out by a strike from US forces in the Caribbean – however without specifying which country was hit (whether Venezuela or perhaps Colombia). o According to the full remarks in context, the president said: “But every time I knock out a boat, we save 25,000 American lives. It’s very simple. And what’s happening is they’re having a hard time employment-wise, they can’t get anybody. And we just talked out, I don’t know if you read or you saw, they [Venezuela] have a big plant or a big facility where the ships come from. Two nights ago, we knocked that out. So we hit them very hard. But drugs are down over 97 percent. Can you believe it?” Some unnamed American officials suggested to the New York Times that the Commander-in-Chief was referring to a drug facility in Venezuela: Trump did not name the location of the facility, though American officials told the New York Times that the president was referring to a drug facility in Venezuela that was eliminated. The president's comment is the only report of such an attack. No other Latin American government, including Venezuela, has disclosed a strike of this sort. : Source: zerohedge.com Zelensky Wants 50-Year(!) Security Guarantee From Trump A major point of disagreement remains security guarantees. Ukraine has been pushing maximalist demands for something akin to NATO Article 5 protections. It would be like getting all the benefits of being in NATO but without being a formal member of the Western military alliance. The Ukrainian side has revealed that President Trump had offered security guarantees for 15 years following a peaceful settlement, but Zelensky considered this much too short to protect from future potential Russian aggression. But in classic Zelensky fashion, he wants way more than this. Also, maximalist demands are something that European leaders have backed him on all along – and they may have even put him up to. According to The Wall Street Journal: Kyiv had asked for security guarantees to last up to 50 years after the end of the conflict during weekend discussions. In the documents currently being discussed, the U.S. offered a 15-year guarantee with the possibility of extension, Zelensky said in audio messages to journalists on Monday. This year he focused on the country's youngest children and their families' need for high-quality child care.” The Obama administration was a gigantic money laundering operation. “The President explained the need in last Tuesday's address stating, “In today's economy, when having both parents in the workforce is an economic necessity for many families, we need affordable, high quality childcare more than ever.” “But the child care tax credit isn't all the President proposed.” “He would also significantly expand the Child Care and Development Fund(CCDF), a child care subsidy for low- and moderate-income families authorized under the Child Care Block Development Grant (CCDBG) Act. (CCDBG was reauthorized last year after 18 years.) By 2025, the proposed expansion would increase the reach of CCDF to an additional one million children, under four-years-old.” Taxpayers subsidies and grants for “childcare.” “The last part of the President's proposal, in typical Obama Administration-style, is a competitive grant that would promote innovation in the child care system. The proposed grants– totaling $100 million– would allow states to create pilot programs to determine the best ways to provide child care to vulnerable populations, including children with disabilities, parents who work non-traditional hours, and families who have difficulty finding high-quality child care.” https://newamerica.org/education-policy/edcentral/presidents-child-care-plan/ Taxpayers “grants” totaling $100 million (for starters) to be given to “vulnerable populations.” Can you say “Somali?” Taxpayers funding of “childcare,” was a “necessity” for the funding of the democrat party. The Somali community was always a hub of this “childcare” theft of taxpayers money. It was set up this way on purpose. A Somali community, governed by Somali's and protected by the democrat party. The Somali's were being brought into this country starting with the George W. Bush's presidency. But Obama began accelerating the number of refugees from Somalia along with other Muslim countries. Here's just the last year under Obama. “A total of 38,901 Muslim refugees entered the U.S. in fiscal year 2016, making up almost half (46%) of the nearly 85,000 refugees who entered the country in that period, according to a Pew Research Center analysis of data from the State Department's Refugee Processing Center. That means the U.S. has admitted the highest number of Muslim refugees of any year since data on self-reported religious affiliations first became publicly available in 2002.” “Just two countries – Syria (12,486) and Somalia (9,012) – were the source of more than half of fiscal 2016's Muslim refugees. The rest are from Iraq (7,853), Burma (Myanmar) (3,145), Afghanistan (2,664) and other countries (3,741).” https://pewresearch.org/short-reads/2016/10/05/u-s-admits-record-number-of-muslim-refugees-in-2016/ Obama was an installed puppet of Prince Alwaleed and was doing his bidding. Obama filled his administration with people tied to the Muslim Brotherhood, who were implementing their “civilization jihad.” These communities began electing corrupt representatives like Ilhan Omar. Infiltration not invasion. Taxpayers money was funneled into these communities through “childcare grants” and other “welfare programs,” in order to fund the democrat party. Minnesota is just the “doorway” into a much larger nationwide fraud scheme to fund the democrat party. A magnifying glass is about to be put on ALL state welfare programs that are receiving “federal funding.” These grants and benefits handed out to these crooks, are now the doorway to expose and bring them all to an end. When you clear a forest to plant maize and make charcoal, you've already put a price on nature—the future cash flows from the maize and the wood. The problem is that price is far too low. In this episode of The Samuele Tini Show, I speak with Josep Oriol, Managing Partner at Okavango Capital Partners and a leading nature‑finance expert working across Sub‑Saharan Africa. A Catalan who fell in love with African wildlife as a child, Josep trained as a lawyer, moved into venture capital and banking, then finally to Southern Africa to build a different kind of private equity firm—one that backs nature‑positive businesses whose performance depends on how they treat forests, soil and water. Today, Okavango‑backed companies help protect around 8–9 million hectares of land (about twice the size of Switzerland) and create income streams for hundreds of thousands of rural people. We dive into: The mispricing of nature: every land‑use decision—from forest to maize field—is already a price signal, and why that's dangerous if we ignore the true value of ecosystems. Forest carbon in practice: the story of BioCarbon Partners, REDD+ projects, and rural families living on ~$20/month in cash who now earn income by keeping forests standing. Carbon market backlash: Josep's response to critics of carbon credits, and why, compared to agriculture, mining or logging, high‑integrity projects are often far more transparent and generous to local communities. Three big opportunity themes: smarter agriculture and agroforestry to boost yields and cut waste, tech for soil, post‑harvest, insurance and finance, monetising ecosystem services via tourism, carbon, biodiversity and water credits—and why fuelwood is still the elephant in the room. Why classic 5‑year 10x PE funds don't fit Africa: and how Okavango uses longer horizons and flexible instruments (loans with equity options, convertibles, prefs) instead of only straight equity. We close with Josep's advice for entrepreneurs in nature‑based sectors—live with existential threat, love cash flow and margins, and assume everything will take twice the time and three times the money—and his vision of Africa's future looking more like South Korea or Malaysia than Europe, if we get the nature piece right. If you care about where climate capital should actually go, this is a sharp, grounded conversation from inside the deal flow.
Episode 160 of the Destination Angler Fly Fishing Podcast – Dec 18, 2025 Today Our destination is the Upper Delaware River, a legendary tailwater often called the crown jewel of the East. This tailwater system is known for clear, cold water all year long and highly selective wild brown and rainbow trout – a graduate school for fly anglers where precise presentation and light tippets are the rule. Joining me is long time guide, fly shop owner, and Upper Delaware expert, Joe Demalderis, Cross Current Outfitters in Hancock, PA. He's been fishing the Delaware since the 1970's, appeared in many national fishing magazines like Field & Stream, Trout, American Angler, and quoted in fly fishing books like, 50 Best Tailwaters to Fly Fish, and Paul Weamer's Fly Fishing Guide to the Upper Delaware River. We cover important questions like, what are the major hatches and the most effective fly patterns, what's the character of the water from top to bottom, why is a downstream presentation a must along with stories of swimming porcupines, wild trout so selective they even refuse naturals, and some bougie shore lunch ideas. Beau Martonik sits down at deer camp with Jason Redd and Ryan Luckadoo from Timber Ninja Outdoors for a wide-open conversation about the chaos, lessons, and laughs from a week in the West Virginia mountains. The guys dive into how they've been approaching the rut, the challenges of hunting new terrain, and the role scent and setups played in their decisions. They also get into some of the realities of joining a hunting lease—run-ins with neighbors, navigating local expectations, and figuring out how to fit into a new area the right way. Jason and Beau give a look at some of the new Timber Ninja gear they've been running, including the Frostline hand warmer and boot covers designed to make long sits more comfortable. And as always, the stories from camp steal the show—from close calls to learning moments to Ryan tagging a great buck. It's the kind of episode that reminds you why time at deer camp matters just as much as the hunting itself. This week on “Talk About Las Vegas With Ira”, Ira welcomes world-renowned vibraphonist and drummer Chuck Redd, bringing his acclaimed holiday show, “A Redd Christmas,” to Vic's Las Vegas December 12-13. Chuck shares remarkable stories from a life surrounded by jazz legends—including the great Red Norvo, who once had dinner at Chuck's home and even gave him a private lesson. He reflects on his musical relationship with Barney Kessel, and the unforgettable lesson that who you are as a person is directly mirrored in your music. Chuck also talks about the influence of Milt Jackson, his work with Monty Alexander, Shelly Manne, Buddy Rich, and Bill Evans, and why he finds inspiration from younger musicians. Other highlights include traveling secrets picked up over decades on the road, his daily practice rituals, and insights into why most jazz musicians remain grounded and humble—even amidst remarkable careers. Chuck also explains why part of being a great musician is being personable, thoughtful and always considering the audience—without pan-dering. Plus, Chuck tells us why “A Redd Christmas” at Vic's has become a beloved Las Vegas tradition, what audiences can expect (from holiday classics to mainstream jazz, blues, be-bop, and bossa nova), details of his brand-new Christmas album, featuring his brother Robert on piano, and the making of his original title track. He also talks about what makes performing in Las Vegas uniquely meaningful—because the city reflects the history of American entertainment, including echoes of Frank Sinatra. We continue our Advent sermon series, “Waiting for Jesus,” by turning from the theme of Waiting to the theme of Peacemaking. Advent invites us to reflect on Christ as the Prince of Peace and to prepare our hearts for his coming. We'll explore how Matthew 5 calls us to embody God's peace in tangible, restorative ways. Jesus' words remind us that peacemaking is not passive but an active expression of God's character in the world. Together, we'll consider how meeting needs and righting wrongs become part of our faithful anticipation of Christ's arrival. Scripture Referenced: Matthew 5

Beau Martonik hits the Appalachian Mountains with Nathan Killen and Jason Redd of Timber Ninja Outdoors to talk about scouting and hunting tactics during the second half of the rut—when deer activity begins to taper off but opportunities still exist for giants for those who adapt. Nathan breaks down how buck behavior shifts as the peak fades, with food sources and remaining hot does driving movement. The crew discusses how to recognize fresh sign, adjust stand access and setups, and use trail cameras strategically to stay in the game as the rut slows down. They also reflect on how their hunting mindsets have evolved, from chasing obvious sign to keying in on subtle patterns that consistently produce mature bucks in big woods terrain. Isabel is joined by Flix and Redd from the “Ain't Got It Yet” podcast to spill the male perspective on dating, relationships, and all the things women secretly want to know but men rarely say out loud. We're covering it all—like why some men look for qualities that remind them of mom (yes, really), how guys actually know when they've found “the one,” and why you should never just assume you're in a relationship (awkward). We dig into whether successful women intimidate men, what “high-value” really means, and why peace at home is at the top of most men's wish lists.Expect laughs, honesty, and a few “wait…did he really just say that?” moments. Man vil bare bli elsket. In a match that saw limited opportunities for both sides, Bruno Damiani had a penalty saved, and Dylan Nealis scored his first career MLS goal to give the Red Bulls the victory. Todd is joined by José Nuñez to discuss the latest Union news, including the Union finalizing a deal to send Olivier Semmle on loan to North Carolina FC of the USL Championship. Todd and José also break down the 1-0 loss, covering topics such as Andre Blake's hamstring injury that forced an early substitution, rotation in the Union squad, and Bruno Damiani's penalty miss. Todd also discusses Blunder of the Week, which goes to New York Red Bulls mascot "Redd" for interrupting Bradley Carnell's press conference. Miles offers thoughtful advice for creating a cohesive look. First, Miles suggests considering painted wood floors, which can add a wonderful and unique character to your kitchen. He notes that a painted floor can offer a practical and budget-friendly solution that also provides a striking aesthetic when paired with cherry cabinetry. A large checkerboard pattern in a two-tone combination, such as navy and natural blonde wood, could introduce a delightful visual interest while harmonizing with the cabinet color. For your preference in a light yet warm tone throughout the house, Miles recommends moving away from mid-tones and going either blonde or deep dark. He points out that the two options on the far right of your sample photo look promising, particularly focusing on a slightly blonder hue which might blend seamlessly yet stand out beautifully against the cherry cabinetry. If you're considering a painted floor, the charm only grows as paint starts to wear naturally over time in trafficked areas, offering a lived-in and inviting look. He encourages embracing this character as part of the floor's charm. We hope these suggestions help you achieve a floor choice that complements your cabinets and highlights your home's style. Hey everyone, welcome back to the Truth From The Stand Podcast. In this episode, I'm joined by Jason Redd, and we dive into one of those conversations that feels a little more like sitting around a fire than checking boxes on a hunting talk list. We cover everything from the pressure that comes with modern technology and constant communication, to how learning to unplug—both in the woods and in life—can reset your mindset in a good way. Jason shares how his approach to hunting has shifted over time, especially as he's taken on the challenge of chasing deer in low-density areas where patience, grit, and strategy really matter. We also get into how your instincts tend to sharpen the more time you spend in the woods, and how sometimes success comes down to timing, adaptability, and a little bit of luck. This one's about the long game—learning from your hunts, trusting your gut, and remembering that the hunt is about a lot more than just punching a tag. WHAT TO EXPECT FROM PODCAST 443 Disconnecting from tech isn't just good for your brain—it's good for your hunting too. Chasing deer in low-density areas teaches a whole different kind of patience and grit. The older you get, the more your strategies shift from aggressive to calculated. Sometimes the smartest move you can make is slowing down and trusting your gut. Hunting the Carolinas means dealing with tough terrain and even tougher deer—but the reward is worth it. Success often hinges more on timing, discipline, and knowing the land than motivation or gear. At the end of the day, it's not just about filling a tag—it's about learning something every time you step into the woods.
