Husband and wife George and Tiffany Cagle examine and present books of the Bible in a way that is appealing to young and old alike. It’s great as a supplement for small group Bible studies and family worship or even just personal study. We are currently reading through the book of Daniel. We have completed series on Jonah, Ruth, Esther, Haggai, Joshua and James.
We should worship God wholeheartedly and give Him our best. When we don't, it is dishonoring to Him. How encouraging it is to remember, though, that our God has always loved us and always will!
In the concluding lesson from the book of Daniel, we are reminded to stand firm and courageous against the culture with trust in God's sovereignty and faithfulness. However, we can courageously take a stand and pray because we know that we are loved by God, and on the winning side! Though this passage is hard to understand, and so many Bible scholars debate its meaning, one thing remains clear- God will end sin and bring about everlasting righteousness in his own time. Follow the link for our Bible study/prayer journal Praying Through The Bible https://a.co/d/4Tbld85

In our final chapter of Joshua, we are reminded of the history of God's goodness and grace and reflect on our only proper response- wholehearted worship and devotion.
George and Tiffany discuss Joshua‘s charge to the people of Israel about the importance of obeying God and what our motivations should be for following Him.
In light of God's faithfulness to keep His promises, how should we now respond?
These chapters that many Christians gloss over as simply a list of towns actually provide us with wonderful encouragement and applications. Here is a map for your reference with this study: https://photos.app.goo.gl/JykV7g7YXQrEsq9TA
Will you be like Caleb and obediently follow God because you focus on His promises or will you be like Ephraim and give in to fear and despair?
Do you trust and obey God only in the big events of your life or in the little tedious moments of every day? These chapters provide an example of a lack of obedience in the little things and an example of faithfulness to God in all things.
The climactic battle of this book once again reminds us that God is mighty and faithful. Those who follow Him don't need to fear anything!
Christ-followers, are you encouraged and in awe of the fact that the King of the universe is with you and listens to your prayers? Tiffany and George discuss this and more as we continue our study of the Book of Joshua.
Do you only inquire of the Lord when you're not sure about a decision? Confidence in yourself can lead to trouble as it did for the Israelites in today's reading.
In Romans, Paul said we must also “consider… the severity of God.” This section of the Book of Joshua teaches us the same thing. If we want to appreciate God's mercy and grace, then we must understand the seriousness of rebellion against Him and what we deserve because of our sin.
The story of Jericho does not focus on the battle or even the miracle of the walls falling. It is about the importance of submitting to God, trusting and obeying.
In this story, Israel crosses the Jordan river into the promised land and God shows them that He is with them and He is for them. What do you do to remember the past works of God that prove His faithfulness?
Tiffany and George discuss with guest Lee Curry the beautiful story of God's grace to the saving faith of Rahab.
Tiffany and George discuss the overall themes of this book of the Bible, including Gods faithfulness to keep His promises. Then they examine chapter one, which contains examples of treasures we have as Christ followers- God's promises, God's presence, God's Word and God's people.
Tiffany and George discuss the final chapter of this short book. What is your motivation for ministry? Do you get discouraged if it doesn't go the way you envision it? If yes, this chapter is for you.
Who's temple are you building? Yours or God's? We are invited in this chapter to consider our ways.
George and Tiffany conclude the study on Esther with summaries on God's providence and provision for His people and comparisons of the story of Esther and Mordecai with the gospel of Christ.
Mordecai is vindicated and exalted while Haman is destroyed, but the final deliverance of God's people is yet to come. This should put us to the similarities found in the gospel of Christ- Christ is exalted and our enemies are defeated but our final deliverance is yet to come. Tiffany and George, joined by guest Dale Googer, discuss.
Tiffany and George are joined by their friend Evan to discuss the most comically ironic chapter of the Bible! We examine once again the subtle workings of the sovereign God on behalf of His people and the consequences and the cure for the sin of pride.
Esther humbly trusts in God's providence while Haman pridefully desires the death of an entire race of people. While an extreme case, Haman is an example of the problem of pride in our own lives.
God has orchestrated all the little events of your life to put you where you are right now for the purpose of bringing Him glory. The same thing can be said of Esther as revealed in this chapter. The question for Esther and for us is how do you now respond?
In their discussion of chapter 3, Tiffany and George define and present the consequences of pride, as seen in the character of Haman. They also discuss how Haman's decree might have affected the faith of God's people.
George and Tiffany discuss the second chapter of Esther in which we are introduced to the two protagonists of the book. Esther and Mordecai don't start off as heroes of the faith but should point us to examine our own hearts if we've sold out to the culture.
George and Tiffany begin a study on the book of Esther, examining the unseen providence of God and the ridiculousness of what the world thinks is valuable.
Tiffany and George conclude the study of the book of Ruth, in which there is the marriage of Ruth and Boaz and the birth of their son. However, God, who's been at work in the entire story, has so much more planned than these characters realize!
We need not be fear about future mistakes nor live with regret about past mistakes. God's sovereignty is big enough to cover them all and accomplish His will. George and Tiffany discuss this theme and more in this look at the third chapter of the book of Ruth.
The Lord works subtlety, using what appears to be coincidences to accomplish His will and bless His people. All we need to do is act practically (like Ruth) and live for His glory (like Boaz) and trust God to handle everything. Tiffany and George discuss this and more in our latest episode from the study of Ruth. Other passages include Leviticus 19:9-10 and Ephesians 1:7-8
How do you respond when it seems God is being unfair to you? What things are you willing to give up to follow Him? Tiffany and George discuss this and more as they begin a study on the book of Ruth.
Tiffany and George conclude Jonah by looking at the final confrontation between Jonah and God- Jonah's anger and confusion vs God's grace and love.
God is a God of second chances in how He offers redemption to Jonah to continue as a prophet and relents from judgement when the Ninevites repent. Please join Tiffany, George and Brad as they discuss Jonah 3.
