SDI time is a podcast geared toward Marines and military members but is by no means exclusive to those in the military. The purpose of the Podcast is to have important discussions with interesting people.
This recording is the audio from our Facebook Live broadcast covering our Book of the Month for October - Th Culture Code by Daniel Coyle.
On this episode of the podcast Dusti and I talk with eveyone on Facebook Live about Extreme Ownership, the book of the month for September. We had a great conversation with everyone that tuned in for the Facebook Live session but if you missed it here it is again on the podcast.
In this episode of SDI Time, I'm joined by Brandon "White Tiger" Cummings, Dan Lyrla, and Brandon "Top" Rogers. We sat down and discussed a wide range of topics from the change in the mentality of Marines over the years to the inner workings of White Tiger's medical history.
In this episode, I talk to my old Corpsman, Bryan Doody. We talked about our shared deployment, life after the Navy, and his new field of sports psychology.
On this episode, Dusti and I sat down with our old friends from Parris Island Leroy and Sheri Mcgee. We talked a lot about our time in Kilo company and the toll it took on our bodies and minds. We also discussed how it effected us after we took the cover off.
Dan finally joins the podcast after skipping out on the last one. He brought along his girlfriend Lacey who is a strength and conditioning professional that works on base. Her credentials include an MS, BS, CSCS, TSAC-F, and USAW Level II. Dusti joins us again on this one as well as we had a great conversation about fitness, nutrition, and what Marine Corps fitness programs are attempting to become.
On this episode, three of my friends from tank school and I got together. We all ended up in the same unit out here in California. We had a good talk about all sorts of topics from dating apps to leadership. This one is a bit more explicit than some of the other episodes. Just FYI.
My buddy Travis Moldovan stopped in on me in twenty-nine palms as he came out to help his good friend Alex get ready to transition out of the Marine Corps. Dusti and I sat down with them and had some dinner and a chat. We had some great conversation about all kinds of topics.
This episode features my sister Kacey Ezell. She is an Air Force Academy grad, Huey pilot, published author, mother of two, and all around bad ass. We discuss topics including her time at USAFA, leadership styles, growth mindset and much more.
Former Sgt Travis Moldovan joins me to talk about everything from the warrior ethos to artificial intelligence.
This podcast was a conversation between me and my buddy Dan Knapp who I served with from 2009-2011. Dan is now a law enforcement officer in North Carolina. We deployed together in the same squad to Afghanistan in 2011. We talked about a range of topics including tattoos, combat, firefights, dealing with trauma, leadership, the state of the Marine Corps, changing society, and even a few war stories.
This is my first podcast and I enlisted the help of my wife Dusit. We discuss topics like her first impression of the Marine Corps, deployments, and our kids wanting to join in the future.
