Knapp drei Monate vor der Landtagswahl in Baden-Württemberg sehen die Prognosen für die bislang das Land regierenden Grünen alles andere als rosig aus. Der langjährige Ministerpräsident Winfried Kretschmann tritt nicht wieder an. Für ihn soll Cem Özdemir den Wahlsieg sichern. Doch die Grünen liegen in den Umfragen nur auf Platz drei mit großem Abstand zum Führenden, ihrem aktuellen Koalitionspartner CDU. Auf dem Parteitag am Wochenende in Ludwigsburg hat Özdmir die Grünen mit einer kämpferischen Rede auf den Wahlkampf eingeschworen. Dabei setzt der ehemalige Bundeslandwirtschaftsminister vor allem auf die Wirtschaft. Die Landeschefin der Grünen, Lena Schwelling, erklärt in SWR Aktuell, dass dieses Thema sehr gut zur Partei passe: "Was die Leute am meisten umtreibt, ist die wirtschaftliche Situation. Wir haben große Bedrohungen von außen durch die Zollpolitik der USA und durch China. Und gleichzeitig haben wir durch die Klimakrise eine große Herausforderung. Und gleichzeitig wissen wir, dass es bei Wirtschaft und Klima kein ‚entweder oder‘ gibt." Deswegen setze die Partei im anstehenden Landtagswahlkampf auf eine Wirtschaftspolitik, die mit "Klimaschutz Hand in Hand geht." Few, if any, people are comfortable with the idea that there appears to be a connection between UFO sightings and the appearance of supposedly non-existent creatures, including Sasquatch. UFO investigators and organizations have largely shunned cases in which both UFOs and cryptic beings show up in the same locations at the same time. And the Bigfoot research groups are equally appalled to address why their flesh-and-blood but elusive primate species often vanish into thin air, as if sucked up into the sky. But the links between UFO craft and Sasquatch are getting harder to ignore. This week marks the 20th anniversary of Hunt for the Skinwalker, a book co-written by Dr. Colm Kelleher and George Knapp. It documented the strange encounters that had been reported and investigated by the NIDS organization (National Institute for Discovery Science) at a place now known as Skinwalker Ranch. That book inspired the creation of a secretive DIA program known as AAWSAP, which did NOT shy away from the pursuit of incidents in which unknown creatures, including Bigfoot, were seen in the same vicinity as UFOs, alleged dimensional portals, and other phenomena shunned by mainstream science. In this episode of WEAPONIZED, Jeremy and George speak with author and filmmaker David Paulides. Paulides is best known for his bestselling book series, “Missing 411,” in which he documents hundreds of strange disappearances that occur largely in national parks and forests. In many of these cases, humans simply vanish, as if snatched by UFOs or taken against their will to some other reality. Most are never seen again. The first two books written by the former lawman Paulides focused on Sasquatch and what Native American tribes have learned about the mysterious, hair-covered monsters that have been seen for centuries all over North America. His readers wondered if Paulides was suggesting that Sasquatch might be responsible for the humans who disappeared. Now Paulides has released a new film which thoroughly explores all sides of the Bigfoot mystery. The documentary, “American Sasquatch: Man, Myth, or Monster,” revisits the physical evidence and witness accounts which suggest that there is a disturbing connection between cryptid creatures such as Bigfoot and the sightings of UFOs, dimensional portals, and other astounding phenomena - similar to what has been widely reported in and around Skinwalker Ranch. What they found instead was eighteen months of relentless terror. We detail their first encounter with an enormous wolf that couldn't be killed despite being shot multiple times at point-blank range. We examine the systematic mutilation of their cattle, animals discovered with surgical-precision wounds and not a single drop of blood. We recount the night their three dogs were incinerated by a glowing blue orb, reduced to greasy black lumps in seconds.The investigation deepens when billionaire Robert Bigelow buys the property in 1996 and deploys PhD-level scientists through the National Institute for Discovery Science (NIDS). An example of this just played out in, of all places, the outskirts of Area 51, the top-secret Air Force facility in the Nevada desert. On September 23rd, an unknown aerial object slammed into the desert floor on public land a few miles outside the boundary of Area 51. Within minutes, the entire base sprang into action, a large swath of public land was cordoned off by armed military security teams, and a cryptic cover story was concocted. In this episode of WEAPONIZED, Jeremy and George share some of the details of the crash retrieval operation and how civilian researchers in Nevada were able to collect enough information to know that the Air Force explanation was full of holes - containing not only outright falsehoods but also a healthy smattering of disinformation. Nearly a year ago, mysterious drones of unknown origin began buzzing military bases and other sensitive sites, mostly in the eastern U.S. They swooped in out of nowhere, hovered and maneuvered over airfields, didn't try to hide their presence, and could not be tracked when they abruptly departed. Entire U.S. bases were shut down, including Langley and Wright-Patterson AFB. Similar incursions were reported at joint bases in the UK, where personnel deployed advanced anti-drone tech - with no effect. Now, several European countries are experiencing similarly troubling incursions. In recent weeks, mystery drones have caused fear and confusion in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, and Belgium. Governments suspect the drones are being controlled by Russia, though there isn't a shred of evidence to prove that, and these drones cannot be tracked or brought down.
