On this episode, Drew, Trev, and Pat make an attempt at “winging it” but since they are so damn good at podcasting, this episode still has rhythm to it. Drew aka "H.E.R." gets right to it by making a big announcement about his future on the show. The crew finally receives something for the #ShareYourShambles segment so they delve into that. They give their Top 5’s, talk about life after the podcast, and you even get a sneak peek into some of the content they are creating and a breakdown of what they’ve already released. All in all, the trio gifts you another great episode. Enjoy while you still can as SHAMBLICITY nears its end.If you would like to share any of your shambles with the crew, emails can be sent to shamblicity@gmail.comThank you for your support! On this episode, Drew, Trev, and Pat are back with a banger after yet another hiatus. They recap where they have been over the past couple weeks and Drew talks about how cold it is in the D. The fellas discuss love and whether it is overrated. Drew and Trev talk monogamy and Pat talks polygamy. Overall, this is probably one of the funniest episodes so far. Full of laughs and good energy. On this episode, Drew, Trev, and Pat are joined by two special guests. Craig and Thomas join in the shambles and help the trio discuss a plethora of topics. From R. Kelly to The Wall to “good” and “bad” people, and stories of fights back in the day. This episode is five fellas just having conversation. This is as raw and as unfiltered as SHAMBLICITY can get. On the first episode of 2019, Drew, Trev, and Pat welcome you back by recapping their holiday break. They quickly segue to the most important topic right now, the Surviving R. Kelly docuseries, and share their opinions on that nasty man and his nasty crew. Before getting into the shambles, the trio shares a DM they received on Instagram in which the listener asks about actions vs. words. They give their take on the issue the listener is facing, provide them with some advice, and after a “quick” commercial break, they jump right into the “New Year, New Me/New Years Resolutions” topic. Despite everything, you must remember that you took you into 2019. You know you better than anyone. Stop setting unrealistic goals for yourself and focus on things you can do. The goal of this episode is to get you all to quit trying to remodel each year and simply renovate. Don’t let a new 365 dictate the change in your life either. But, if you are going to let January 1st serve as the start of a new beginning, ensure you are going about it the right way. Let 365 days from that day serve as a measuring stick and a motivator for you on your journey so you can look back next year and marvel at your growth. Finally, just because a few days, weeks, or even months may not go your way, it doesn’t mean this isn’t your year. You don’t need to wait until 2020. If you are alive, THIS IS YOUR TIME. You can make it happen TODAY. Start laying that foundation now, so this can truly be your year.If you would like to share any of your shambles with the crew, emails can be sent to shamblicity@gmail.comThank you for your support! On this episode, Pat starts by expressing how he felt it was the early 2000’s again because of his phone issues the past week. Trev expounds on his gripe with Mr. B. Jordan and the three of them, mainly Drew and Pat, give A Scathing Review From The Heart about his Oscar potential and whether or not they agree with the rumor that he is indeed “the next Denzel.” They discuss the extremely unpopular opinion of Jay-Z being “washed” and what his classics albums are. Pat explains how he’s “biting” Alicia Keys. Trev details reaching his most recent milestone. While Drew is Drew in the most Drew-est of ways. You know what I’m saying? Since there were no emails to read this week, they get right to it beginning with the playing of a clip from the Queen, Tami Roman. Her heavy hitting words and stolen catchphrases from the show, (all jokes) needed to be heard. The shambles this episode—if we must call it that—self-love. Drew, Trev, and Pat begin by detailing what self-love means to them before they break down how they implement each of the seven steps prescribed by Dr. Deborah Khoshaba. Write these steps down, come up with your own steps, implement them, and share if you don’t mind. Self-love is something we MUST have. The more resources to help nurture and nourish that self-love, the better. It starts and ends with YOU. Learn to be a little bit more selfish when it comes to everything that encompasses YOU.“A Seven-Step Prescription for Self-Love”https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/get-hardy/201203/seven-step-prescription-self-loveIf you would like to share any of your shambles with the crew, emails can be sent to shamblicity@gmail.comThank you for your support! On this episode, Drew, Trev, and Pat begin by giving a very heartfelt apology for not dropping an episode last week. The devil was indeed “working” during their recording session. But, SHAMBLICITY is back on schedule. After the apology, they discuss what cures writers block, why Simply is no longer a sponsor of the show, they share this week’s shambles sent in by beautiful people like yourself, Trevor Swanier talks about his debut which was made December 8th as he dropped his first song in almost 4 years, “Canaan” which he briefly explains for the listeners, and they get into the shambles associated with ENERGY. The fellas each give interesting takes on their perception of energy, how they fend off negative energy if at all, and how they function when dealing with low energy/vibrations. This is one of those topics you may hear them discuss again in the future. There is so much that goes into the energy you give as well as receive, and most importantly, knowing your energy. “The energy you bring, positive or negative, dictates your perceptions, receptions and radiations.” –T.F. On this episode, Drew and Pat start by wishing Trev a Happy Birthday and discussing his birthday plans. They recap their Thanksgiving weekend and expound on how old flings love to use special occasions as an invitation back into your life. They also address the proper way to go about it. Since J.I.D. dropped his Dicaprio 2 project on the day of recording, the crew didn’t want to do a deep dive just yet, but next episode, they will talk about it as well as give a proper ranking of Dreamville artists. They (Trev and Pat) feel a special someone has been overtaken in the rankings recently and it is time for the world to finally accept and address it. Pat also just released his third book “a laborious trudge.” which the crew also plans to breakdown in the next episode as well. But the focus is on this episode; which is a deep one. The shambles are the “sins of the father.” As men, there are many things they feel they’ve learned, but also had and needed to unlearn from their fathers or other male figures in their lives. This won’t be the last you hear about this topic. Many follow-ups will come throughout this season. There was a lot to unpack for each of them, which made for a pretty heartfelt episode. “The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.” – Ezekiel 18:20If you would like to share any of your shambles with the crew, emails can be sent to shamblicity@gmail.comThank you for your support! On this episode, Drew, Trev, and Pat are joined by their first guest, the beautiful and lovely, Raiven. Don’t be alarmed as the crew is left practically speechless after hearing Raiven’s story about what occurred this past weekend as well as what “playing games” means to her and her most recent encounter of said act. Prior to getting into the shambles though, they breakdown Smino’s new album, NOIR. Each person, except Drew—who didn’t get the memo even though he did—lists their favorite tracks as well as a quotable or two. Pat spices things up briefly as Rai gets on him after revealing what he has been reading and why, thus sparking a short debate that may rear its ugly head in episodes to come. All in all, despite the fellas being oddly quiet as Rai’s stories, thoughts, ideals, and shambles eerily resemble theirs, an immeasurable about of game is given this episode. The guys go into detail about these moments and also discuss what they could possibly do to prevent them from happening in the future. They also discuss the "Red Table Talk" episode with Will Smith and they touch on his "kicked out of heaven" moment, the concept of SHAMBLICITY, what they are watching, listening to, reading, & more.
