Actor Milo Ventimiglia sits down with Bobby and shares what he learned working alongside Will Smith, then breaks down the TV breakthroughs that changed his life—from getting on the map with Gilmore Girls to launching into a whole new stratosphere with This Is Us. He also gets real about the “99 no' before a yes” grind, how he memorizes lines, and when you’re allowed to ad-lib (and when a set won’t let you change a single word). Plus, the unexpectedly hilarious side of Milo: Blue Angels stories, “chirping,” and why he has very strong opinions about passing out mid-flight and what it was like learning to sing for a new role when vocals weren’t even in his bag of tricks. Writer and director Morgan Cooper on turning a self-funded Bel-Air short into a series, building creative audacity before opportunity arrives, and staying resourceful across drafts, collaboration, and a children's picture book. You'll learn:Why “imperfect action” can be a practical antidote to creative paralysis, especially early in your craft. How he found a compelling dramatic lens by stripping away sitcom expectations and focusing on character archetypes and real-world stakes. What it can look like to invest commercial income back into self-initiated work to build a body of proof. Why “waiting for permission” often hides fear, and how starting anyway can change what's possible. Why the “angle” of your idea matters, and how recalibrating it can be the difference between a draft that stalls and a draft that lands. How identifying the “big question” of a story can give your scenes direction and your revisions momentum.Simple ways to keep the creative channel open using a notes app, project scrap bins, and a journaling method that functions like index cards. How collaboration becomes part of the craft when you treat writing as iterative perspective-building, not a solitary performance. What writing a picture book can teach about economy, structure, and building an arc inside tight page limits. How designing a kid-led mission around resourcefulness can create momentum and emotional payoff in short form.Resources & Links:

Are you about to draft Cal Raleigh in the second round? Paying up for Bryce Turang after his breakout? Joe Bond, AJ Applegarth, and Corey Pieper break down the 2026 fantasy baseball players whose draft cost doesn't match their projected production—from catchers to starting pitchers. The guys debate what "bust" actually means (spoiler: it's about draft cost, not total disaster), then rip through position-by-position overvalued players. Cal Raleigh after 60 homers? Will Smith with 150 fewer at-bats than other catchers? Josh Naylor after somehow stealing 30 bases with bottom-3% sprint speed? Colson Montgomery's 44% hard-hit rate that screams regression? O'Neal Cruz hitting .102 against lefties? Heated moments: Joe and Corey clash on Geraldo Perdomo (Joe's out, Corey's in at the cost) Spencer Strider going at pick 100 after two awful seasons? All three are out The George Springer debate: 32 homers at age 37—fluke or repeatable? O'Neal Cruz: "Quite possibly one of the worst hitters in baseball" (Joe's words) Plus: Why Ozzie Albies' flip-flop injury pattern is a problem, Trevor Story's strikeout rate concerns, and Jacob deGrom's name-value trap at 38 years old. In Episode 264 of The Chazz Palminteri Show, Chazz Palminteri reflects on faith, accountability, success, and the reality of good and evil in the modern world. Chazz discusses why he believes success brings greater temptation, referencing the Academy Awards incident involving Will Smith and Chris Rock as an example of how quickly a legacy can be altered in a single moment. He shares a personal story about trusting instincts, recounting an unsettling encounter involving his daughter and a wealthy man who was later publicly exposed. The conversation also explores Chazz's long study of Rudolf Steiner, his belief in God, and why he sees morality as essential to living a meaningful life. He speaks openly about his own cancer diagnosis in 1997, the emergency surgery that followed, and a powerful spiritual experience he had while recovering in intensive care. This episode offers thoughtful insight into faith, personal growth, Hollywood pressures, and the responsibility that comes with success.

It is a privilege to welcome actor, model, and producer Jake Jensen to The Jake's Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast. Jake is a former professional tennis player turned actor, producer, sports psychologist, and mental health performance coach. He brings a rare blend of grit, intellect, and emotional depth to every role he inhabits – on screen and in life. His portrayal of Finn Larsen in Challengers is a profound statement of his ability to channel lived experience into cinematic authenticity. As a trash-talking Scandinavian tennis pro, Jensen's character embodies the psychological warfare and raw ambition that define the sport's most competitive tiers. Yet Jake's story doesn't begin—or end—on the court. He holds a PhD in Sport & Performance Psychology and serves as a tenured professor at California State University, Northridge. His work with elite athletes, actors, and creatives focuses on optimizing mental performance through mindfulness, emotional regulation, and strategic mindset training. Whether coaching one-on-one or lecturing in the classroom, Jake's approach is grounded, intuitive, and transformative. As a producer and creative collaborator, Jake is currently leading the romantic fantasy drama Believe, where he stars as a war veteran entangled in a mysterious love story with Eve from the Bible. He's also a gifted pianist and composer, scoring original work while developing new scripts that fuse psychological insight with artistic storytelling. On this episode of The Jake's Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast, Jake Jensen spoke about the lessons that he learned from the Challengers and King Richard sets, previewed Believe and Power 98.5's In the Actors and Athletes Studio, where he co-hosts with Steven Cuoco. Hello, been a minute, but welcome back to another episode of the search for the worst album ever made, it's Trve. Crvp. Pop!.On this episode Steve and Sam throw the rulebook out the window and pick their own album to judge, it's the 5th studio album from rapper, actor, author, pop culture phenom Will Smith, Based on a True Story, which was released on the 28th of March 2025.Dunno if you remember, but Will Smith has had a funny old time over the last few years, he won an Oscar for best actor, but it went a bit pear shaped if you recall. After that, Will had to scramble around a lot to salvage his reputation, which he hasn't really been able to do. He did release this record though, which was his most serious and personal effort to date. It's basically him going on about how great he is and how he doesn't care what people think of him, whilst also moaning that he nearly got cancelled. Good job Will!

Gemini Man—directed by two-time Best Director winner Ang Lee—is a misguided exercise. Filmed in a format almost no theaters could play, Lee's insistence on pushing the technological bounds of cinema did little to help the movie. Instead of revving up the frames per second, Lee would've been better served to revise the script. Full of cliches and tropes, Gemini Man feels like a the retread of a film from the 90s. Considering it came out in 2019, that is not a compliment. Critics were not kind to its plot or the excruciating fully digital version of Will Smith. Turns out the higher the definition, the creepier it looks. Now, sit back, fight back the CGI tears with a Wrenovation IPA from Wren House Brewing, and don't donate your DNA to Clay Varris! The Thunderous Wizard, Chumpzilla, and Bling Blake are planning to clone a better, less sleepy version of McCheese to hang out with! A LOT happened around the Dodgers, and Cody and Vince break it all down in this new episode of Talkin' Blue. We start with DodgerFest, reacting to the vibes, surprises, and what stood out most from the weekend. Did the event meet expectations, and what moments actually mattered? Then we get into the World Baseball Classic conversation as Edwin Díaz commits to Team Puerto Rico, joining Dodgers stars like Ohtani, Yamamoto, Will Smith, and Kim. Díaz's history makes this especially notable after his devastating 2023 WBC injury that cost him an entire MLB season. That leads into the growing issue of WBC insurance problems, with players like Miguel Rojas speaking out, and reminders of Clayton Kershaw's 2023 situation that forced him to back out. Is Team Puerto Rico facing more behind-the-scenes drama? We also cover a wild roster shuffle: • The Dodgers reclaim Mike Siani off waivers after yet another journey around the league • Andy Ibáñez is DFA'd after signing earlier this offseason. What does this move signal? Plus, more Dodgers notes: • Ryder Ryan signs a minor league deal with a Spring Training invite • Cole Irvin joins on a minor league contract • And the big question: when does Kiké Hernández sign? To close it out, we react to the surprising news that Clayton Kershaw is joining NBC Sports, stepping into broadcasting as NBC takes over Sunday Night Baseball and marquee MLB games starting in 2026. Tap in for all of it. Dodgers season is getting closer, and the news is heating up. Like, comment, and subscribe for weekly Dodgers talk with Cody and Vince. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company.
