Trev and Dave open the show by diving deep into Liverpool's precarious transfer position, weighing the chances of final moves involving Alexander Isak and Marc Guehi. They analyse how Liverpool's fate hinges on the actions of other clubs, and what missing out might mean for the squad's depth—particularly in attack. As Premier League clubs like Spurs and Aston Villa, along with RB Leipzig, circle Harvey Elliott, Trev and Dave dig into the reality behind the rumours. Despite reports suggesting Liverpool are keen to hold onto Elliott, Dave strongly argues the opposite, that Liverpool would absolutely consider a sale under the right circumstances. This segment highlights the disconnect between club messaging and internal logic, with Trev playing the measured counterpoint and Dave laying out the pragmatic business case. It's an insightful, no-fluff look at how top-level transfer decisions actually get made — and how a fan-favourite like Elliott might still be expendable. Learn more about your ad choices. Our Transfer Show shifts to the European theatre, where storylines get hilariously dramatic.
