These may be reflections of one of: self-betrayal. One of my most asked questions is, "How do I make new friends?" In this episode we will talk about energetic shifts, psychological reframes, and actionable changes you can make immediately to alter the state of your relationships. The beautiful thing is, since it's my most asked question, I can tell you that there are many beautiful souls wanting to connect, you're not alone. It's not that you can't make friends, it's not that you aren't worthy of friendships, it's not that there are no good people left to be friends with, it's just that you are not approaching the situation with the right set of tools (both energetic and psychological). After this episode your fear about connecting with others will be dismantled. You will have the tools you need to feel confident connecting with yourself and others, and a brand new beginning full of friendships ahead of you. This isn't about trying hard, in fact, it's about trying EASY!

Today we're discussing theology and how the current moment we are in politically and culturally is so much more than just Right vs. Left or Republicans vs. Democrats. On both sides you'll find professing Christians who don't actually keep the word of God in their hearts, and this is a reminder that the faith Christians have in God is a more important bond than our political affiliations. While debates about mandates, guns, or communism are important, they pale in comparison to the spiritual battle that we are called to take part in. How to Remain Positive when Dealing with Negative Situations and People Each day, we are bombarded with negativity. The news is full of war, crime, and disaster stories, and it's easy to become wrapped up in our own problems. It's no wonder that many people find it difficult to appreciate the good things in their lives. And accept the lessons out of the bad things. Dealing with negative situations and people can be tough, but it's important to remain positive. After all, your attitude is a choice. And, as the saying goes, "attitude is everything." If you choose to have a positive attitude, you'll be more likely to see the good in people and situations. You'll also be more likely to find solutions to problems. Of course, it's not always easy to stay positive. However, gratitude has the power to change our perspective and improve our well-being. Focusing on what you're grateful for makes it harder to dwell on the negative. Another is to surround yourself with positive people. When you're surrounded by people who radiate positive energy, it's easier to keep your own spirits up. Finally, don't be afraid to step into your next chapter. Sometimes the best way to move forward is to leave the past behind. The Power of GratitudeWe've all heard that it's important to be grateful for what we have. But what exactly does that mean? And why is it important? Being grateful means more than simply saying "thank you." It's about acknowledging the good in our lives, even when things are tough. It's about recognizing that every day brings both challenges and blessings. It's about being present in the moment and appreciating the small things that make up our lives. Gratitude has been shown to have a number of benefits for both our physical and mental health. People who practice gratitude are more likely to exercise regularly, eat healthy foods, and get enough sleep. They're also less likely to experience depression, anxiety, and stress. And gratitude doesn't just make us feel good; it also makes us more likely to help others and to engage in pro-social behavior. Ready to Put the Power of Gratitude into Action? When we take the time to be thankful for the good in our lives, we open ourselves up to more happiness, love, and joy. Gratitude allows us to see the world in a more positive light and provides us with the strength to face life's challenges. So next time you're feeling down, take a moment to appreciate everything in your life. You may be surprised at how much better you feel. After all, life is an adventure. Embrace it! Today we're talking to Becket Cook, host of "The Becket Cook Show" on YouTube & Author of the Book "A Change of Affection: A Gay Man's Incredible Story of Redemption". We discuss Becket's testimony, how he went from being raised Catholic to spending his college years and early adult life with no faith, very much caught up in the gay culture of California, to his conversion experience and redemption in Christ. We also talk about how to approach different situations in which Christians often find themselves at odds with secular culture. Should Christians attend their gay friends' weddings? Should they use transgender people's "preferred pronouns"? Becket gives his thoughts on how to navigate these scenarios in the most biblical and loving way possible. --- Buy Allie's book, You're Not Enough (& That's Okay): Escaping the Toxic Culture of Self-Love: https://alliebethstuckey.com/book Relatable merchandise- use promo code 'ALLIE10' for a discount: https://shop.blazemedia.com/collections/allie-stuckey Learn more about your ad choices. What a sweet-smelling episode we have for you this week Clarity Fam! (Yup, we said smelling not sounding!) because this week we want ya'll to wake up and smell the roses!Yes! We are over here literally talking about flowers! Well, we are really talking about how flowers are a wonderfully beautiful metaphor for our lives and our evolution as human beings :) Just as flowers blossom from a tiny bud, flowering into something beautiful, we too grow and thrive in all our health and beauty at different times throughout our lives. And just like flowers, no two moments are the same. No two relationships are the same. Not even two of our lives are ever the same. There is something so powerful in drawing all these amazing parallels between flowers and ourselves that is just too good not to make your heart melt thinking about it next time you see your favorite flower. So enjoy this episode. We know we did.
Do you ever feel like you're just going through the motions and doing things you "have to" do when and how you've always done them? I do and I recently got some advice from a trusted mentor to ask myself in those moments: What energizes me? Maybe there's another time or way to do that thing you have to do that could be more energizing. I've been following this guidance over the last few weeks and have found that it is incredibly empowering. At times I decided to stop what I'm doing and go for a walk or a run, or pivot to another project. Then when I come back to it, I have newfound energy for that task. Or there may be times when you feel obligated to accept an invitation, but if you really tune in to how the idea of it makes you feel, it's a no. Give it a try and see what shifts for you! In this episode, Lisa A. Romano Life Coach and bestselling author will discuss what many spiritual teachers tend to avoid. While some teachers instruct a student to drop the mind, Lisa believes that observing the mind, and learning to fully accept the contents of the mind, rather than avoid or deny what we may discover, is key to creating transformative experiences in our lives. She believes that narcissistic relationships offer us the opportunity to observe where our minds are stuck, and thus, what attachments there are we need to release. The goal of any relationship, society, or organization is to have enough emotional intelligence to build and restore communication rather than to destroy it. When people feel heard, understood, and seen, their productivity as well as level of cooperation increases. When you are dealing with a highly narcissistic person, you will notice they lack emotional intelligence. If you can spot their lack of Emotional IQ, it might be easier for you to avoid unnecessary arguments in the future and it might be easier to make tough decisions too. Lisa A. To help her listeners combat this, Chrystal breaks down four easy steps for manifesting your goals.Tune into this week's episode of Self-Love for Breakfast for an honest conversation on life manifestation. Learn more about Chrystal's house-hunting journey, narrowing in on one big thing, and how to release attachment to be open to something better.Quotes• “You need to know what you want. You need to have the desire for what you want. Because if you don't know what you want, it's not going to happen. We need to be very clear. This is what I want. This is what I desire.” (4:47-5:06) | Chrystal) • “I believe that when we start making moves into the direction we want to go those things come closer.” (11:04-11:10 | Chrystal) • “When it comes to manifestation, we need to believe even when it feels like it's not going to happen. We need to keep believing. Keep believing and things will happen.” (24:51-25:00 | Chrystal) • “Start making moves and paying attention. Keep your eyes open and watch signs that it's coming closer. That it's showing up.” (35:49-35:54 | Chrystal) • “It doesn't have to look like how you believe it's going to look like. Let the universe, let God, let whatever you believe in surprise and delight you and show you how it doesn't have to be this linear path.” (39:14-39:26 | Chrystal) Connect with Chrystal:http://chrystalrose.com/https://www.selflovebreakfastclub.com/https://www.instagram.com/xtalrose/https://www.instagram.com/selfloveforbreakfastclub/To join our Self Love Breakfast Club text community, text SLBC to 704-270-6577.Podcast production and show notes provided by HiveCast.fm
