Today, we sit down with Lily Meschi, the director of partner relations at Iran Alive Ministries, to hear her testimony of coming to Christ after growing up Muslim and surviving an abusive, arranged marriage. She shares with us her story of how she came to Christ in the midst of that abusive marriage after a family friend shared the gospel with her. She tells us about what it's like to grow up Muslim in Iran in the aftermath of the Islamic Revolution and how women suffer under the oppressive regime. Despite everything standing in its way, Christianity is on the rise in Iran as more and more people grow disillusioned with Islam, and Lily tells us how Iran Alive is spreading the gospel to the people of Iran and giving them hope. In this episode, Allie talks with Pastor Jeff Schwarzentraub of Brave Church in Denver, Colorado, about proclaiming biblical truth in an increasingly hostile cultural and political environment. Jeff describes Denver's hedonistic, progressive shift, Colorado's radical transgender and abortion laws, and how COVID-19 convicted him to keep his church open and boldly proclaim the gospel in a time of fear and uncertainty. They discuss the pastor's role in speaking to moral issues like gender and abortion, the cost of courage, Christian engagement in government, raising faithful kids in a dark culture, and the hopeful signs Jeff sees in Gen Z and the next generation of believers. You'll never reach it. —Salvador DaliChapters0:27 Embracing Imperfection10:37 Affirmations for Self-Compassion14:59 The Pursuit of Wisdom Over PerfectionSummaryIn this episode of the Anxiety Coaches Podcast, we delve into the concept of wabi-sabi, exploring how embracing imperfection can help alleviate the pressure of striving for perfection. The discussion begins with a reflection on the increasing societal demand for perfection, which can manifest as anxiety and feelings of inadequacy within us. We draw parallels to the music industry, where many artists are gravitating towards the raw authenticity of analog sounds versus the polished finish of digital production. This longing for imperfection invites us to question whether our pursuit of flawlessness is truly beneficial. The conversation encourages listeners to shift their perspective on imperfection, viewing it not as a failing but as a natural part of the journey of self-improvement. It posits that by letting go of the unattainable goal of perfection, we can open the door to self-acceptance and appreciate our experiences as ongoing, evolving processes. Our minds are profoundly shaped by our thoughts and where we choose to focus our attention, suggesting that by embracing imperfection, we can foster a more forgiving inner landscape.I emphasize the relief that can come from giving ourselves permission to simply be ourselves without the weight of perfectionism. The episode provides practical tips on recognizing our limits and establishing boundaries to support our mental health and well-being. It's crucial to incorporate self-care into our daily routines rather than sidelining our health for the sake of achieving more. By identifying our thresholds and maintaining those boundaries, we foster an environment in which we can thrive without succumbing to the pressure of needing to achieve perfection.#WabiSabi, #AnxietyRelief, #Mindfulness, #EmbraceImperfection, #MentalHealthMatters, #SelfLove, #SelfCare, #PersonalGrowth, #Perfectionism, #WellnessJourney, #PositiveAffirmations, #InnerPeace, #StressManagement, #MentalWellness, #SelfCompassion, #JapaneseWisdom, #Healing, #Authenticity, #GrowthMindset, #GraceAndGratitude, #AnxietyCoachesPodcast, #NervousSystemRegulation, #VagusNerve, #CalmMind, #OvercomingAnxiety, #PanicAttackRecovery, #MentalHealthAwareness, #EndTheStigma, #EmotionalWellness, #SelfHealing, #InnerCalm, #AnxietyWarrior, #Breathe #Gina Ryan #ACPSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

There's something I want to normalize right away — you don't have to share every detail of every wound to be real. Some things are sacred. Some things are not up for public consumption. And today's episode is my living proof of that.In EP 286 I'm sharing something deeply personal — not the details, but the truth of what it created in me. From a very early age I learned that disappearing was safer than being seen. And that one childhood lesson became the through line of my entire life — my career, my relationships, and yes, even this camera.Until now.WHAT WE'RE GETTING INTO: ✦ Why your survival strategies deserve honor not shame ✦ How one childhood pattern can become the ceiling on your adult life ✦ The through line from childhood to career to relationships to camera ✦ What it means to finally pull your fear out of the darkness and into the light ✦ How to reclaim your power without reopening old wounds ✦ Normalizing sacred boundaries — not everything needs to be shared to be healed ✦ The Self Love 2 Step REMIX — including The YOU StepAnd Friend — I know who I am and who's I am. And from that place? There is nothing to disappear from anymore.
Today Allie discusses James Talarico's victory in the Texas Democratic Senate primary, highlighting his controversial views and political strategies. Talarico, a former middle school teacher and current seminary student, has gained significant social media influence, with millions of followers on Instagram and TikTok. Despite his Christian background, he supports abortion, homosexuality, and transgenderism, and uses Scripture selectively to justify his positions. Allie traces the roots of Talarico's theology through liberation theology and the doctrinal drift of mainline Presbyterianism. Allie criticizes his theological interpretations and political stances, emphasizing the importance of pushing back against false teachings and promoting true Christian values over progressive compromises. Our dialogue delves into the intricacies of anxiety and the underlying emotions that often fuel it. I invite listeners to reflect on their relationship with anxiety and how to discern the subtle messages it communicates.A significant focus of our discussion is the Hidden Emotion Model—a technique I learned and refined during my training that unveils the repressed feelings driving anxiety. Dr. Burns eloquently explains how individuals, often conscientious and "nice," suppress emotions like fear, anger, and disappointment, which leads to heightened anxiety. By recognizing and articulating these hidden emotions, individuals can often alleviate their anxiety significantly. Dr. Burns shares a compelling vignette involving a man struggling with panic attacks after receiving unexpected news about parenthood. This example illustrates the necessity of acknowledging uncomfortable emotions to pave the way for healing. Our conversation also touches on the societal stigmas surrounding emotional expression, particularly for those who identify as "nice" people. Dr. Burns and I explore how mental health diagnostics can inadvertently contribute to feelings of shame and inadequacy among patients. It's a powerful reminder that many who battle anxiety face not only internal struggles but external societal pressures that may dictate how they should feel or behave.#Anxiety, #PanicAttacks, #MentalHealth, #CBT, #DrDavidBurns, #AnxietyCoachesPodcast, #FeelingGood, #FeelingGreat, #Psychology, #Mindfulness, #SelfHelp, #Recovery, #Wellness, #Healing, #StressRelief, #InnerPeace, #MentalWellness, #SelfCare, #Therapy, #Coaching, #EmotionalIntelligence, #NervousSystem, #OvercomingAnxiety, #PanicDisorder, #SocialAnxiety, #MentalHealthAwareness, #EndTheStigma, #GrowthMindset, #Authenticity, #Boundaries, #SelfLove, #IntrusiveThoughts, #OCD, #HealthAnxiety, #MindfulLiving, #Breathwork, #Meditation, #Zen, #Spirituality, #PersonalGrowth, #Resilience, #Empowerment, #HealthyMind, #AnxietyRelief, #StressManagement, #Psychotherapy, #Counseling, #WellnessJourney, #LifeCoaching, #MentalHealthMatters, #AnxietySupportSee Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
In a world that often feels divided—across families, communities, and workplaces—this week's episode explores a deeper understanding of togetherness. While unity is often associated with unconditional acceptance, the wisdom of Kabbalah teaches that true unity also requires responsibility and alignment. Healthy teams, relationships, and communities are built not only through love and openness, but also through clear boundaries that protect the culture and shared vision. This conversation explores why difficult conversations and courageous boundaries are sometimes necessary for real growth. Avoiding them may feel easier in the moment, but it can ultimately create greater challenges for everyone involved. By approaching these moments with intention, certainty, and a desire for the highest good, we can transform uncomfortable decisions into opportunities for greater clarity, stronger relationships, and space for the right people and opportunities to enter our lives. On this episode of “Relatable,” Allie's dad, Ron Simmons, breaks down the new U.S.-Israel military operation, Operation Epic Fury, against Iran, explaining why he believes it's necessary in light of Iran's long history of sponsoring terrorism and oppressing its own people — especially women — under radical Islamist rule. He also unpacks the shake-up at the Department of Homeland Security, detailing former Secretary Kristi Noem's controversial $220 million ad campaign and her reassignment, as well as the nomination of Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-Okla.) to lead in her place. Ron touches on rising gas prices, global oil dynamics, and GOP political battles in Texas. Some conversations just leave you smiling the whole way through, and this was definitely one of them.In this week's episode I'm joined by the wonderful Ami Yeasmin @ami_bisbrooke_artisans. If you already follow Ami online, you'll know exactly what I mean when I say she brings so much joy into the world. Her energy is infectious. But behind that joy is a story of resilience, heartbreak, healing and learning to truly live in the present moment. Before COVID, Ami and her husband were running a thriving sourdough bakery together after leaving their previous careers. Life was busy, exciting and growing quickly. But in a short space of time everything changed. Her marriage broke down, and soon after Ami was diagnosed with cancer. What followed was one of the most difficult periods of her life. But it also became the beginning of something new.During her recovery, Ami began thinking deeply about joy. Not the big, once in a lifetime kind of happiness we're often told to chase, but the small everyday moments that remind us we're alive. The kind of joy we can choose, even when life feels messy or uncertain. One symbol that carried her through that time was a pair of red boots she promised herself she would wear when she was strong enough again. Those red boots eventually led to something unexpected… dancing. What started as a spontaneous moment dancing in public after cancer treatment has become Ami's way of spreading joy and reminding people that it's never too late to express yourself, take up space and live fully in the moment. This conversation is honest, uplifting and full of beautiful reminders about self-acceptance, forgiveness and learning to shine as you are.Ami's journey from teacher to running a successful sourdough bakery• The impact COVID had on their lives and relationship• Navigating separation later in life• Receiving a cancer diagnosis and the emotional toll of treatment• Letting go of people pleasing and learning true self-acceptance• Why Ami believes joy is something we can choose every day• The story behind her red boots• How dancing in public became a powerful act of healing• Why shining as yourself gives others permission to do the same“When you shine from the source of yourself, you give other people permission to shine too.”If you enjoy this episode, please do share it with someone who might need a little reminder that joy can still be found, even in the most unexpected places.Keep being fabulousRachel x
Allie sits down with Rachelle Starr, founder of Scarlet Hope, a ministry that shares the hope and love of Jesus with women in the sex industry and victims of trafficking. Rachelle recounts how God called her from praying outside strip clubs to walking inside with home‑cooked meals, building trust with women who have been exploited. She shares powerful testimonies of rescue, redemption, and generational change. Rachelle and Allie also discuss the devastating impact of fatherlessness, the new documentary “He Calls Me Daughter,” and what parents need to know about how traffickers groom kids through social media, games, and modeling scams — along with how Christians can respond with truth, courage, and Christlike compassion. “Something inside me has broken, and I cannot seem to stop the Waters of my Love Song.” These are the words of my beautiful guest this week, Dr. Loddie Foose, eloquently expressing her experience of the creative process. Dr. Loddie is a poet and storyteller whose work bridges imagination, inner healing, and grounded leadership. She is the creator of Soul Riders: Storybooks for Your Inner Child, a first-of-its-kind illustrated fiction series designed to invite adult readers into transformative self-discovery through narrative and reflective exploration. On this week's guest episode Loddie and I have a delightful time giggling and enjoying a beautiful conversation around the power of transforming trauma and pain into words of joy and inspiration. Loddie speaks on how story can be a healing tool; why narrative, metaphor, and imagination provide a safe, embodied pathway to inner truth and integration—especially for adults. She also shares her means of reconnecting with the inner child. How restoring and healing connection to our inner child rebuilds self-trust, emotional resilience, and a felt sense of permission to live and lead authentically. And of course I loved discussing using inner healing to gain outer leadership. How inner reconnection translates into women advocating for themselves, setting boundaries, and claiming their worth in the world.Bio:Alongside her soul-inspired writing journey, Dr. Loddie Foose continues her work as a global leader in strategy and business, blending strategic insight with rigorous analytical training (PhD and postdoctoral studies in chemical engineering) and a deep commitment to human flourishing. She is founder of DocDocFoose Business Consulting and Know Your Worth, a leadership development platform for women, and serves as President of The Imagine Fund, a nonprofit advancing equity in gender, health, education, and food access.Links:https://www.docdocfoose.com/companieshttps://www.know-your-worth.net/https://www.know-your-worth.net/imagine-fund
What if envy is not really about the other person at all?In this honest and reflective episode, Michelle exploreswhat it means when others admit they feel jealous or intimidated by her success. From launching books and leading programs to speaking internationally and building GrowBy1, she shares the surprising emotions that arise when comparison enters the room. But this conversation goes much deeper.Drawing from personal experiences, including years ofnavigating jealousy and punishment in her former marriage, Michelle unpacks the cost of shrinking yourself to make others comfortable. She challenges the idea that success should be hidden and reframes visibility as an invitation for others to grow and win.At the heart of this episode is one powerful truth: when youtruly love yourself, envy loses its grip.Michelle walks through practical indicators of self love... Envy can be a signal, not a sentence. Sometimes it simplyreveals a desire within you that needs attention. The key is not to let comparison pull you off your path, but to use it as information that brings you back to who you are. This episode invites you to remember your own mountain, your own calling, and your own awesomeness.Michelle@GrowBy1.comGrowBy1.com/CoachingAcademyGrowBy1.com/CEU

What happens when life takes away the identity you built everything on, and you are forced to discover who you really are? In this episode of Soul Elevation, I was honored to sit down with Jannecke Øinæs, the beloved host and founder of Wisdom From North, an early pioneering spirituality interview platforms on YouTube. Jannecke shares her deeply personal story of going from child star and performer to losing her voice, hitting rock bottom, and beginning a profound awakening journey that ultimately led her to launch Wisdom From North in 2012. @Wisdomfromnorth We explore how depression can become an initiatory doorway, how the shadow can guide you into your purpose, and why self love is not just a spiritual concept but a foundation that changes everything. Jannecke also opens up about spiritual experiences like lucid dreaming and out of body exploration, and why she eventually realized that too much focus on the mystical can become a form of spiritual bypassing if it disconnects you from real life, real feelings, and embodied truth. This conversation is for you if you have ever felt like you are not spiritual enough, if you have judged yourself for not doing spirituality the "right" way, or if you are navigating a season where truth is coming to the surface in your personal life and in the world. Jannecke brings warmth, grounded wisdom, and a refreshing honesty that helps you return to your own inner compass. In this episode, we talk about Jannecke's journey from child star to spiritual guide Losing her voice and finding a deeper voice Depression as a catalyst for awakening Shadow work and meeting the "trolls" on the hero's journey Self love versus self confidence and why it matters Authenticity and speaking your truth even when it feels scary Spiritual experiences and why they can become a distraction Staying grounded in the body through nature movement and real life Anger boundaries and the difference between acceptance and passivity Why multiple truths can exist and how beliefs evolve over time Finding your life mission through joy service and natural gifts If you enjoyed this conversation, please like, subscribe, and share it with someone who would feel uplifted by it. Legacy Love — Episode 3 of 4 (Official Legacy Love Episode 2)In this powerful episode of Legacy Love, IAYAALIS goes beyond surface-level self-care and gets into the real work of Self-Love: the kind that shows up when you're triggered, when your boundaries are tested, and when old patterns try to pull you back into self-abandonment.This is not the “treat yourself” version of healing. This is a grounded, body-based conversation about what Self-Love actually looks like in real life.Inside this episode, we explore:Why Self-Love can feel hard when your nervous system was trained for survival instead of safetyThe Calm Check — a simple body-based way to tell the difference between real love and anxietyHow “chemistry” can sometimes be trauma activation in disguiseReparenting in plain language (no heavy therapy jargon)3 Self-Love standards to help you move differently: clarity, consistency, and reciprocityA short guided reset practice to help bring your body back to safetyReflective journal prompts to help you identify where you're still abandoning yourself and what standards you're ready to holdThis episode is for anyone who has heard “love yourself” a thousand times… but was never truly shown how to do that in a way that changes your life. And yes — this is about you, but it's also about what comes after you.Because every standard you set…every boundary you hold…and every pattern you break…becomes part of your Legacy Love.
In this conversation with Dr. Shefali Tsabary, clinical psychologist and author of The Conscious Parent, Karena explores how unhealed childhood wounds get passed down through generations, why traditional discipline doesn't work, and how the three-step process of awareness, acceptance, and action can help you break toxic patterns — whether you're a parent or not.How do we stop unconsciously passing our unhealed wounds onto the people we love most? The path to conscious parenting begins not with your child — but with you.(00:23) From Psychologist to Conscious Parent: The Origin StoryWhy Dr. Shefali's work applies to anyone who has ever had a parentHer journey from clinical psychology to meditation to motherhoodHow unhealed childhood baggage gets projected onto the people we love most(06:55) Triggers, Boundaries & Breaking the CycleWhy nothing outside of you is truly the trigger, only the matchWhy real boundaries are internal actions, not instructions to other peopleThe three-step path forward: awareness, acceptance, action(11:12) Screens, Mental Health & the Disconnection Crisis“Screens are the worst thing to happen to children."Anxiety in girls has doubled; suicidality in boys is at an all-time highThe real culprit: Overstimulation and disconnection from the present momentConnection is the antidote to all emotional disease(15:10) Control, Happiness & the Wake-Up Call We're All AvoidingWhy the need to control comes from having been controlled in childhoodThe numbing epidemic: Netflix, dead-end relationshipsWhat it takes to honestly say "I don't like my life" How compliance in children (and adults) leads to eventual breakdown(23:11) Role Reversal, Self-Love & the Books That Can Change Your LifeA community question on growing up as the caretaker and what happens when you need careKarena shares her painful experience as her mother's caretaker in her final five yearsDr. Shefali's truth: "No one can love us the way we need — that's everyone's ultimate lesson."Thanks for the support from our partners, including: Guest ResourcesVisit Dr. Shefali's websiteGet a 30-day free pass to Dr. Shefali's community! Let's talk about self-love — the real kind. Not the bubble baths. Not the affirmations you repeat but don't believe yet. The kind that asks you to sit with yourself honestly. In this episode, we're diving into what self-love truly means, how to normalize the struggle with it, and how to start giving it to yourself consistently even when it feels hard. Because before we can practice self-love, we have to understand what it actually is.I used to believe self-love meant pouring into everyone else and hoping it would come back to me. I thought if I gave enough, supported enough, loved enough, I'd receive it in return. But that's not self-love. That's self-abandonment.If you've been overgiving, feeling drained, or questioning your worth, this conversation is for you. It's time to stop outsourcing your love and start embodying it.If this episode speaks to you, make sure you follow the show, share it with someone who needs this message, and leave a review. Send a textIn this Fusion Hack, Jami and Greg break down three powerful “gifts” you can give yourself that directly impact your fitness results, relationships, and overall quality of life: patience, grace, and self-love. They unpack why instant gratification sabotages long-term transformation—and how real progress is built like a puzzle: one corner, one edge, one piece at a time. Greg adds a sharp framework for high-performers: the more knowledge and skill you have, the easier it is to become impatient with yourself when you're not performing at your “identity level,” which can pull you out of growth mindset and into frustration. From there, they show how grace creates the tactical pause that prevents burnout—especially for competitors, entrepreneurs, and anyone chasing ambitious timelines. Finally, they go deep on self-love as a practiced skill, not a slogan—sharing real examples from parenting (“I am enough”), coaching athletes through body dysmorphia, and why self-worth changes everything from vulnerability to marriage. The episode closes with a core truth FitBody Fusion is built on: physical growth without internal growth is only half the equation—because the most important contest is the one that doesn't hand out trophies: the contest of life.Welcome to FitBody Lifestyle the podcast hosted by Jami and Greg DeBernard! This episode is for the woman who is quietly grieving something she hasn't given herself permission to fully feel. Not just the loss of a person — but the loss of a version of her life she had already planned out in her head. The relationship that was supposed to work. The career that was supposed to feel more fulfilling by now. The version of herself she thought she would be at this age.It gets personal — I'm sharing my own testimony of loss in life, my career and what happened when I finally stopped grieving what closed and trusted what God was opening. This one is raw, real and full of hope for every woman standing in the gap between who she was and who she is becoming.
Iran, Israel, and the end times? Allie breaks down the U.S. strikes against Iran — what happened, Trump's stated goals, and the competing conservative and progressive arguments over whether the operation is justified or truly “America First.” She then evaluates pacifism vs. just war from a Christian perspective as she responds directly to Pope Leo XIV's comments. Allie walks through major end-times views and how they interpret Iran and the Middle East and closes with analysis of a major Supreme Court ruling on school gender-transition secrecy policies and what it means for parental rights. Invisible Scars: Surviving, Healing, and Finding Your Voice with Christopher CarazasSome of the deepest wounds are the ones no one can see.In this powerful and vulnerable episode, we explore invisible scars with survivor, storyteller, and global development and social impact leader Christopher Carazas. Christopher shares his deeply personal journey of being diagnosed with autism as an adult—and how years of masking his true self left him feeling like he never truly belonged.Instead of receiving understanding and compassion after his diagnosis, Christopher was met with psychological, emotional, and verbal abuse. He was told he wasn't good enough, that he should be ashamed of his existence, and that he didn't deserve the space he took up in the world. These cruel and dehumanizing messages led him to attempt suicide—twice. Thankfully, Christopher is still here. Those experiences became the foundation for his memoir, Now That I'm Still Here, a raw and honest exploration of trauma, autism, grief, abuse, and survival.Christopher describes his life as a “mosaic of shifting landscapes and invisible scars.” Growing up across continents, he learned to adapt constantly while rarely feeling accepted. Masking his autism became a survival strategy—until abuse weaponized his differences and pushed him toward collapse and silence. Healing did not come dramatically or heroically, but breath by breath.Through profound loss, grief, and rebuilding after devastation, Christopher found his way back to himself through writing. His story speaks to anyone who has survived emotional abuse, lived with grief as a daily companion, or struggled to reclaim their voice—especially men and neurodivergent individuals who are often taught to stay silent. This episode is a reminder that survival itself is meaningful—and that telling our stories can be a powerful act of healing. In this episode, we discuss:Invisible scars and why they can be just as painful as physical woundsAdult autism diagnosis and the lifelong impact of maskingThe devastating effects of emotional, psychological, and verbal abuseSuicide attempts, survival, and choosing to keep goingGrief, loss, and rebuilding after everything falls apartWriting as a pathway to healing and reclaiming identityWhy men and neurodivergent individuals must be supported in finding their voicesConnect with Christopher:
This week's meditative contemplation begins with an invitation to notice what comes up internally in response to Byron Katie's statement that just when you think it can't get any better, it has to – it's the law. You might notice the mind brings up every opposition possible. It seems so backwards, doesn't it? On planet Earth we're accustomed to thinking, “Well, it can always get worse,” and trying to prevent whatever that is. But could Katie be right? What if it really is the nature of the Universe that it can just get better and better, and as Tom puts it in this episode, when we struggle it's because we're attached to struggling? Sometimes when we question these long-held beliefs, a vague sense of lacking the authority to create our own reality through our powerful minds can surface. That's why The Work is so powerful – you get to ask you what is true. Enjoy this beautiful flow of conversation and insight on living self-inquiry, led by Tom Compton as he begins another joyful lap around the sun.

Rethinking Women's Health: Depleted, Not Broken Women's health issues like hormone imbalance, perimenopause, menopause, fatigue, brain fog, weight gain, low metabolism, anxiety, inflammation, and burnout are not personal failures — they're signs of magnesium deficiency, mineral depletion, low protein intake, sleep debt, and chronic stress. You are not lazy. You are not crazy. You are depleted. Modern women are under-muscled, under-mineralized, under-slept, under-sunned, and over-stressed — and we've been told it's normal. It's not normal to live exhausted. It's not normal to drag through menopause. And it's not normal to accept brain fog and belly fat as your destiny. In this bold, truth-telling episode, we unpack real solutions: magnesium restoration, mineral balance, high-protein nutrition, strength training for metabolism, sunlight for circadian rhythm, deep sleep repair, whole foods, movement, and intelligent hormone support. Stop blaming your willpower.Start rebuilding your power.TRIMhttps://us.shaklee.com/en_US/julietusseywww.garyandjulie.orgGet Julie's free download, The Prophetic Word for 2026 and her Newest E-Book! Today Allie responds to CNN's new documentary on “Christian nationalism,” arguing that what's being labeled as dangerous extremism is often just historic, biblical Christianity applied to culture, law, and education. She also contrasts the Christian view of the imago Dei, where every person has innate worth, with practices like infanticide, abortion, and gendercide around the world. Allie responds to John Piper's tweet on immigration and gives a biblical perspective on the matter. Allie gives examples of practices in the Muslim world that are being imported by winsome Christians at their own peril. Tune in for an episode filled with biblical clarity and healthy empathy to help you combat the lies that the world and media try to sell you. Share the Arrows 2026 is on October 10 in Dallas, Texas! This week, Christina and Brittany are having one of those honest, unfiltered conversations. The kind where you talk about what's actually happening in your body… how aging really feels… and why health can't sit at the bottom of the priority list anymore. They dive into inflammation and how it quietly impacts everything from energy to long-term disease, the growing conversation around peptides and recovery, and the reality of navigating wellness in a world where “nothing feels real anymore.” This episode is about taking your health seriously. About discipline. About gratitude. About choosing to live in a way that doesn't leave you with regret. If you're building a life, a career, a family — none of it works if your health falls apart. This is real talk on movement, mindset, nutrition, recovery, and what it means to age with intention. We don't shy away from the skepticism. We don't pretend we have it all figured out. But we do believe this: Health is non-negotiable. About Brittany and Christina: Meet Brittany and Christina, your dynamic podcast hosts who bring their unique blend of expertise, passion, and life experience to every conversation. It's AMA time again, and this one goes deep.Alyson and I open the floor to your questions, and what unfolds is an honest, vulnerable exploration of self-love, self-worth, and the subtle ways we block ourselves from the lives we say we want. Inspired by a recent 13-hour healing journey, I share some powerful realizations about integrity, honoring myself, and the surprising gap between loving others and truly loving myself. We unpack what self-love actually looks like in practice—not just mirror affirmations, but identifying childhood imprints, dissolving shame, raising standards, and developing discernment in relationships and business. Alyson brings in her perspective on embodied self-respect, parts work, and Internal Family Systems, offering grounded tools for healing old patterns and integrating fractured aspects of ourselves. From there, we shift gears into a fun but revealing conversation about influence and inspiration. I break down some of my favorite podcasts, from countercultural voices and spiritual finance to music deep dives and consciousness explorations, and why challenging my own beliefs is a core part of my growth. We also touch on money, integrity, jealousy, and the tension between spirituality and wealth—exploring how to hold abundance without selling your soul.If you've ever struggled with self-worth, boundaries, or reconciling purpose with prosperity, this episode offers reflection, humor, and a few hard-earned insights from the trenches.Get the Animal Power book and deck, plus a free guided drumming shamanic journey to meet your power animal, at alysoncharles.com/animalpower.DISCLAIMER: This podcast is for educational purposes only and not intended for diagnosing or treating illnesses. Today Allie discusses her impressions of Trump's State of the Union address, praising its patriotic tone and strategic juxtaposition of Democratic and Republican policies. She highlights key moments, including Trump's condemnation of illegal immigration, his proposal for Delilah's Law, and his support for IVF, which she criticizes due to ethical concerns. Allie also commends Trump's stance on crime, citing a 125-year low in murders, and his opposition to indoctrinating children into gender ideology. Trump also hosted special guests, including Erika Kirk and the USA men's hockey team. She explains why Christians must respond with clarity and courage, not cowardice and compromise, in an age that targets kids through progressive social experiments and fatherlessness. Allie also exposes Frida Baby's disturbing sexualized marketing toward parents and babies. Finally she closes with powerful encouragement rooted in biblical hope, reflecting on former Nebraska Republican Sen. Ben Sasse's bold, Christ-centered perspective as he faces terminal cancer.
