A lot of times we push ourselves too far without recognizing that our batteries have to be recharged and too often others try to get more out of us without understanding what we need so that we can give the rest of our time to what they need.
A wrestling coach of mine once told me and Im paraphrasing "if you wouldn't let someone punch you in the face then why would you let them take you down like this?" I use this analogy for how we show up in our lives. Often people decide to not make decisions on fear. Alot of times when we show up to the meeting or a big event where we need to perform were not going to allow ourselves to fall flat on our faces. This is where this analogy takes place. Getting ourselves to the event is often the hard part. Our minds will take care of the rest from there.
