The first Sermon
Releasing Generosity The misson and ministry of the church has always been resourced by God's people. As the early church 'shared all they had', so today God's people are called to give generously in response to a generous God.
As the Holy Spirit directs Paul's missionary journey across the sea to Philippi, Tracy challenges us to be open to the Spirit calling us into deeper waters.
We will never know even a fraction of what God’s Holy Spirit has done with the words we spoke, the the acts we did or the prayers we prayed – at least not this side of heaven – but God’s call on us today is simply to faithfulness. Because it is in a heart given over to Jesus – a trusting heart open to the power of the Holy Spirit working in us and through us – that God’s kingdom truly comes.
