Pixcelation was the first interview I did with Team Lift when we started covering conventions for the YouTube channel. It was like watching him grows as we grew. This year, at Okashicon 2018, he decided that he was ending the Pixcelation brand. I won't lie, it was emotional for me to see a friend end his brand. I got to sit him down and we tlaked about life, branding, the need to create and being hyper creative. We discussed why we are our own worst critics. BIO:James Herd is a novelist, voice actor, singer, and online personality who has been active on the internet for a very long time. In the late 2000s, he conceptualized ‘The Intermine Legacy,’ which is an ongoing story that is being told through several novels and podcasts. In 2013, the first novel in ‘The Intermine Legacy’ was published, but since then has been undergoing redevelopment on a microscopic level, and is aimed for a republication in the near future. In the meantime, his audio production group Studio Intermine (also known as Intermine Studios) has released podcasts chronicling the events of the first novel, and they’re currently working on releasing new content. Since we recorded this there have been a few big changes, micro-trans has been pulled (temporarily) entirely from the game, and dice/ea is committed to revamping the entire in-game progression system.
