El Polideportivo La Marazuela de Las Rozas se ha convertido en un refugio para cerca de 290 vecinos que han tenido que abandonar sus hogares casi con lo puesto. Proceden de localidades como Hoyo de Pinares, Navalgamella, Zarzalejos, Pelayos de la Presa, Fresnedillas de la Oliva y Robledo de Chavela, a causa de los graves incendios. Tras la llamada de emergencia, el Ayuntamiento de Las Rozas coordinó una respuesta que movilizó a una "legión de voluntarios" de todas las edades.Entre ellos destaca Sergio, un niño de tan solo 9 años que cursa primaria.
