Last month, reports surfaced that the FBI is considering a new domestic terrorism category: “Transgender Ideology-Inspired Violence and Extremism,” or TIVE. In today's episode, Imara unpacks what that means—and why it's so dangerous. First, Dr. Cynthia Miller-Idriss lays out the state of violent extremism across the political spectrum and why the far-right has turned trans people into scapegoats. Then, R.G. Cravens from the Southern Poverty Law Center discusses how a TIVE designation could create permission structures for white supremacist and anti-LGBTQ violence. Despite their dire warnings, both guests also share where they're finding hope in the fight against domestic violent extremism and disinformation.Check out Season 3 of the Anti-Trans Hate Machine here.Send your trans joy recommendations to translash_podcast @ translash [dot] org Follow TransLash Media @translashmedia on TikTok, Instagram, Threads, Bluesky, X, and Facebook.Follow Imara Jones on Instagram (@Imara_jones_), Threads (imara_jones_), Bluesky (imarajones.bsky.social), X (@ImaraJones)TransLash Podcast is produced by TransLash Media. Infectious disease physician Tyler B. Evans discusses his article "Meeting transgender patients where they are: a health care imperative." Tyler, an infectious disease specialist and author of Pandemics, Poverty, and Politics: Decoding the Social and Political Drivers of Pandemics from Plague to COVID-19, shares striking data on violence, mental health, and HIV disparities affecting transgender and nonbinary communities worldwide. He recalls formative patient experiences that reshaped his understanding of gender affirming care, emphasizing the need to move beyond outdated disease models and rigid medical training. Tyler explains why social determinants from housing to acceptance are critical to health outcomes, and why true reform begins with meeting patients where they are. Listeners will gain practical insights into building compassion driven systems that improve health equity and save lives. Our presenting sponsor is Microsoft Dragon Copilot. It's Thursday, October 16th, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 140 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com.  I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark British Christian teacher fired for Facebook post about Islamic violence A British Christian teacher, who was unjustly  fired, shared his testimony at a Reform UK party free speech conference last week. Simon Pearson had a 20-year unblemished teaching record. However, Preston College dismissed him last year for allegedly being “Islamaphobic.” He had simply expressed concern on Facebook over violent crime and political bias. Pearson is challenging his dismissal with the help of the Christian Legal Centre.  Listen to his comments at the free speech conference. PEARSON: “Previously, I've worked as a missionary in a communist country where freedom of speech and religion are tightly controlled. I know what it means to live under a regime where truth is suppressed and conscience is punished. “I never imagined I would face similar pressures in the United Kingdom, a country built on the foundations of liberty, of justice and of Christian values. I'm fighting for justice, not just for myself, but for every teacher, for every Christian and every citizen who fears that their voice no longer matters and they are being silenced.” Young people of Northern Ireland more open to Christianity Speaking of the United Kingdom, young people in Northern Ireland are leading a revival of interest in Christianity, according to a poll by The Iona Institute. The survey found 18-24-year-olds in Northern Ireland are more likely to have a very positive attitude toward Christianity than any other age group. These findings are similar to studies of young people in Ireland, Britain, and the United States. Gen Z boys most likely to believe that Jesus is way to Heaven Here in America, the Barna Group released new research from its ongoing State of the Church initiative.  Surveys show that Gen Z is increasingly open to Christian faith. However, among young people, women are the most likely to disengage from church, prayer, and belief.  Meanwhile, young men and especially teenage boys are the least likely to identify as having no faith among young people. They are also the most likely to believe in God and that Jesus Christ is the only way to God. In John 14:6, Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” Fewer young Americans identifying as “transgender” Here some more good news. Trans identification is declining among young people in America. Eric Kaufmann, a Canadian professor of politics, posted the findings on Tuesday. His analysis is based on multiple data sets, including those from the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression. The data shows 3.6% of undergraduates identify as a gender other than male or female. That's down from 5.2% in 2024 and 6.8% in 2022.  The data sets also showed young people are becoming less likely to identify as something other than heterosexual.  Trump posthumously awarded Charlie Kirk Presidential Medal of Freedom President Donald Trump posthumously awarded Charlie Kirk with the Presidential Medal of Freedom on Tuesday. Kirk's widow, Erika, received the nation's highest civilian medal on his behalf on what would have been his 32nd birthday.  The ceremony comes about a month after the Christian activist was fatally shot while speaking at an event for his organization, Turning Point USA.  Listen to comments from President Trump. TRUMP: “Charlie never missed an opportunity to remind us of the Judeo-Christian principles of our nation's founding or to share his deep Christian faith. In his final moments, Charlie testified to the greatness of America and to the glory of our Savior with Whom he now rests in Heaven. Anniversary of martyrdom of two English reformers And finally, today is the anniversary of the martyrdom of two English Reformers. Their names were Hugh Latimer and Nicholas Ridley. Both were bishops in the Church of England. Ridley was born in 1502, becoming a great scholar and renouncing Roman Catholic doctrine. Latimer was born earlier in 1485. He became a great Reformation preacher, also rejecting Catholic traditions. His preaching brought Protestant teachings effectively to the middle and lower classes. However, a Catholic queen came to power in England in 1553. She was known as “Bloody Mary” for her deadly persecution of Protestants. After her ascension to power, Latimer and Ridley were tried for their beliefs and burned at the stake on October 16, 1555. As they faced death together, Latimer told his friend, “Be of good comfort, Master Ridley, and play the man; we shall this day light such a candle, by God's grace, in England, as I trust shall never be put out.” In Romans 8:36-37, the Apostle Paul wrote, “As it is written: ‘For Your sake we are killed all day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.' Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” Close And that's The Worldview on this Thursday, October 16th, in the year of our Lord 2025, the 60th wedding anniversary of my parents, Mike and Harriet McManus, with whom I will celebrate this very weekend.  Follow us on X or subscribe for free by Spotify, Amazon Music, or by iTunes or email to our unique Christian newscast at www.TheWorldview.com.  I'm Adam McManus (Adam@TheWorldview.com). This is the full show for October 15, 2025. 0:30 We tackle a fiery moment from the U.S. Supreme Court as Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson’s comments ignite debate over race, equality, and the limits of government intervention. Have America’s efforts to “fix” racism through legislation—like the Voting Rights Act and redistricting—gone too far? 9:30 Plus, we cover the Top 3 Things You Need to Know. A judge in San Francisco has placed another universal injunction on President Trump, this time over firing government workers during the government shutdown. The Supreme Court heard arguments today in a Louisiana redistricting case that could drastically alter the balance of power in the House of Representatives, and change how congressional districts are drawn at the state level. Stellantis, the parent company of Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep, announced it's expanding its manufacturing base in the United States. 12:30 Get NSorb from Victory Nutrition International for 20% off. We question the logic of equating race with disability and explore what equality truly means in a constitutional sense. 16:30 We ask the American Mamas about the ceremony where Charlie Kirk was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom. The Mamas share their admiration for Erica Kirk’s extraordinary strength and grace in the face of loss — and for a president who made it a priority to honor her husband’s legacy. If you'd like to ask our American Mamas a question, go to our website, AmericanGroundRadio.com/mamas and click on the Ask the Mamas button. 23:00 When is upholding “international law” really just targeting America’s allies? That's exactly what’s happening when New York City mayoral candidate Zoran Mamdani calls for the arrest of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. 25:30 We Dig Deep into a new report from the Center for Heterodox Social Science that shows that trans and queer identification among college students has nearly cut in half since 2023. The trend exposes the social — not biological — roots of gender ideology, pointing to lockdown-era isolation, TikTok influence, and a mental-health crisis among teens. From “social contagion” to cultural correction, we wonder if Gen Z is quietly walking away from one of the most aggressive social experiments in modern history. 32:30 Get Prodovite from Victory Nutrition International for 20% off. Go to vni.life/agr and use the promo code AGR20. 33:30 We unpack a new study showing 42% of liberals — and a staggering 60% of liberals under 30 — consider breaking the law acceptable when protecting undocumented immigrants from deportation. 36:00 Plus, we are in the middle of a revival in this country, arguably the biggest Christian revival in our lifetimes, and that's a huge Bright Spot. It gained momentum after the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Bible sales, religious app downloads, and Christian music streaming are all on the rise, and long-time believers and newcomers alike are posting online about returning to church, seeking community, and finding renewed faith. 40:30 Barack Obama is supporting California Governor Gavin Newsom and accusing Republicans of wanting to steal seats. Yet California is one of the most, if not the most, gerrymandered state in the country. And Barack Obama wants you to think that it's the Republicans that are trying to steal the election? We gotta say, "Whoa."See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

It has been a lousy couple of years for one of the leftist factions most deserving of a lousy couple of years—no, not organized labor, institutional transgender activism. Great Britain, home to noted critic of transgenderism J.K. Rowling who not long ago faced odds as impossible as those of the Britons defending Rorke's Drift in the 19th century, issued the Cass Report condemning activists' preferred approaches to treating “gender dysphoria” by the “affirming” model, and the country's Supreme Court ruled that a woman is, in fact, an adult human female. In the United States, our Supreme Court ruled that states had the power to prohibit sex changes for minors in U.S. v. It's Wednesday, October 8th, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 140 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com.  I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark 88 countries restrict Bible access The Bible Access Initiative released a list of nations where access to the Bible is restricted. Eighty-eight countries have at least some restrictions on Bible access. The country with the most extreme restrictions is Somalia followed by Afghanistan, Yemen, and North Korea.  The Bible Access List noted, “Bible access in Somalia is not just limited; it is outlawed. Under a strict interpretation of Sharia law, it is illegal to print, import, store, or distribute Bibles.” Many of the countries with the worst restrictions are Muslim-majority nations governed by Sharia law. In 2 Timothy 2:8-9, the Apostle Paul reminds us, “Remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead, the offspring of David, as preached in my gospel, for which I am suffering, bound with chains as a criminal. But the word of God is not bound!” 20,000 Canadian pro-lifers stood in Life Chain An estimated 20,000 pro-lifers joined Canada's 35th annual Life Chain on Sunday. Participants took the streets across hundreds of cities in Canada. They held pro-life signs along roadways and prayed for the end of abortion. Josie Luetke with the Campaign Life Coalition told LifeSiteNews, “You see longtime, elderly activists with their walkers and lawn chairs and families with young kids running around. Life Chain is really a group effort . . . and it is a joy to see the entire pro-life movement united in this cause on this one day.” 30% of Canadian 11 to 13-year-olds open to church if invited Speaking of Canada, youth evangelism ministry OneHope released a report on the spiritual state of Generation Alpha in the country. The study covered young people between the ages of 11-13.  Forty-nine percent of respondents identified as Christian, 35% as non-religious, and 16% as other religions. Only 27% of Gen Alpha Christians qualified as committed Christians through Biblical beliefs and regular prayer and Bible reading.   Among non-religious teens, 30% said they would be open to attending a Christian church service if a friend invited them.  Trump eager to cut billions in waste and abuse during shutdown In the United States, the federal government shutdown continues as funding proposals from Republicans and Democrats keep failing in the Senate.  Democrats are withholding support for a funding bill unless it extends Obamacare subsidies. Republicans want to deal with the issue later in the year. President Donald Trump said he wants to use the shutdown to cut billions of dollars of waste, fraud and abuse.  Listen.  TRUMP: “Because of the shutdown, which I think they made a big mistake, we're able to take out billions and billions of dollars of waste, fraud and abuse. And they've handed it [to us] on a silver platter. Elon Musk: Cancel your NetFlix subscription over transgender shows Tech billionaire Elon Musk is echoing recent calls for people to cancel their Netflix subscriptions over immoral programming for children.  He posted on X last Wednesday, “Cancel Netflix for the health of your kids”.  The shares of Netflix dropped nearly 5% over the course of last week. The recent trend to cancel Netflix resulted from conservative voices exposing Netflix for pushing transgender shows on children.  More Americans perceive having kids as a blessing Pew Research released a new report showing that more people view having children as a good thing for America. Fifty-three percent of U.S. adults say that if more people choose not to have children, it will have a negative impact on the country. That percentage is up from 47% last year. Only 20% of respondents said that people choosing not to have children would be positive for America.  Among men, 59% said fewer people having children would have a negative impact. Among women, that number fell to 48%. Anniversary of William Tyndale's death for translation Bible into English And finally, this week is the anniversary of William Tyndale's death, traditionally commemorated on October 6. Tyndale faced arrest and later death in 1536 for alleged heresy. However, he had worked tirelessly to translate the Bible into English. It was his devotion to Scripture that brought him into conflict with church and civil leaders. In response to an assertion of the supremacy of the Pope, Tyndale famously said, “I defy the Pope and all his laws; and if God spares my life, ere many years, I will cause the boy that driveth the plow to know more of the Scriptures than thou dost!” Copies of Tyndale's translation were smuggled into England by the thousands. His work would form the basis of the Great Bible, edited by Miles Coverdale. It made its way into every parish church just three years after Tyndale's death. Isaiah 52:7 says, “How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, ‘Your God reigns.'” Close And that's The Worldview on this Wednesday, October 8th, in the year of our Lord 2025, my bride Amy's 49th birthday. Sexual orientation used to be something you were “born with” and was unchangeable, but today both gender and sexuality are seen by many as being on a sliding scale and can be changed on a whim! From battles over men in women's sports and locker rooms to accusations that institutions are prescribing hormone blockers to children as young as 8 years old, transgender ideology has taken our current cultural chaos by storm and Christian parents need to understand how to engage in a meaningful and biblical way! Ricky also helped launch The Institute for Biblical Sexuality, whose mission is to train the church and future generations about God's remarkable design for gender and sexuality.

    1. The “Schumer Shutdown” We begin with the ongoing government shutdown as the fault of Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and the Democratic Party. They claim Democrats are panicking and have no political “off-ramp,” predicting that the standoff will end with “complete capitulation” from Democrats. The conversation includes discussion of polling data (allegedly showing poor favorability ratings for Democrats), arguments that Democrats are “weak” and “extreme,” and mockery of Democratic leaders through AI-generated memes that portray them wearing sombreros and mustaches. Cruz and Ferguson frame the situation as a political win for Republicans, portraying Democrats as incoherent and divided, and suggesting that the shutdown reveals the public’s indifference to big government. 2. The Brett Kavanaugh Assassination Attempt and Sentencing The second segment focuses on a federal judge’s sentencing of Nicholas Roske, who had plotted to assassinate Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. Cruz and Ferguson express outrage over what they claim was an unjustly lenient eight-year sentence, arguing that it reflects “left-wing bias” and preferential treatment because the assailant was transgender. They sharply criticize Judge Deborah Boardman, a Biden appointee, for what they call “ideological” leniency, with Cruz suggesting she should be impeached. The hosts expand the issue into a broader critique of Democratic “soft-on-crime” policies and claim a cultural double standard favoring certain identities (e.g., transgender individuals). The conversation also ties the Kavanaugh incident to Democratic rhetoric, suggesting it encourages “left-wing violence.” Please Hit Subscribe to this podcast Right Now.
