Episode #1101 Skydiggers have been celebrating the 30th anniversary of their landmark album Road Radio, which is an all-time favourite for me. They compiled a playlist of some other great releases from 1995, but I quickly realized that a bunch of my favourites were missing from their list so I started making my own. I had no idea how many albums that I adore today came out 30 years ago. Independent Canadian record label Six Shooter Records celebrated its 25th anniversary this week. I'm pretty sure that no other source has provided as much great material for this show over the 22+ years that it's been on the air. The label has helped to release and promote some amazing music that wouldn't have been given a chance elsewhere and has given opportunities to a lot of talented artists.
