Dolly Parton BioSnap a weekly updated Biography.Dolly Parton has been making headlines after postponing her highly anticipated Las Vegas residency due to health challenges, a move that instantly sparked concern and a wave of support from fans across the globe. According to her own statement shared on social media and widely reported on ITV News and Country Living, Dolly revealed she needed to undergo a series of unspecified medical procedures, joking that it was time for her 100,000-mile checkup—though she assured fans with her trademark wit that it was not her usual trip to the plastic surgeon. The original slate of six sold-out performances at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, which would have marked her first extended Vegas run in over three decades, was scheduled for December 2025. These shows have now been rescheduled for September 2026, with Parton making it clear tickets would be honored or refunded for those who can't make the new dates. The news of her postponement came right after she missed a major event at Dollywood, her iconic Tennessee theme park, due to a flare-up of kidney stones. WHNT News 19 and several entertainment outlets emphasized there was no specific diagnosis given beyond the need for recovery time, and Dolly herself reassured her devoted following that she is not quitting show business. She cited advice from her doctors and a personal sense that she should slow down temporarily, but with her usual optimism, she promised, "God hasn't said anything about stopping yet," highlighting her intention to keep working on her many projects from Nashville. Speculation about her future quickly appeared on social media, but Dolly dampened any rumors of retirement, insisting she has big adventures ahead—a message that trended widely on X and Instagram as fans poured in thousands of get-well messages and memes celebrating her resilience.Beyond her current health focus, Dolly continues to expand her business portfolio. Features in Forbes and IMDb have spotlighted her towering $450 million net worth and highlighted the growth of her “Doggy Parton” pet line, new Duncan Hines baking mixes, and her ever-popular Dollywood properties. In August, she received special attention from the Guinness Book of World Records with an "icon" certificate, putting her in league with Beyoncé and Sir Paul McCartney. Even during this pause from live performance, Dolly's brand and legendary catalog remain at the heart of country music, philanthropy, and entrepreneurship, her career far from finished—as she says, just resting up for the next act.Get the best deals https://amzn.to/3ODvOtaThis content was created in partnership and with the help of Artificial Intelligence AI

Their conversation gets into the demand and opportunity for this strategy, including how searches for “fabric” on Michaels.com increased by 77% over the past year, and why Michaels' new area called The Party Shop includes lowered prices on party decor items like streamers, napkins and tableware. They also discussed the importance of store associate training and capacity to handle more products, customer inquiries and new responsibilities around balloon filling and fabric cutting.

Dolly Parton BioSnap a weekly updated Biography.Dolly Parton has been front and center in both headlines and hearts over the past week, even as she balanced personal moments and a packed professional schedule. According to Parade, Dolly sat down with Reba McEntire for a warmly candid TalkShopLive interview released September 25, where she reminisced with poignant humor about her late husband Carl Dean, who passed away six months ago. Dolly recalled a rare moment when Carl, who famously shunned the spotlight throughout their six-decade marriage, joined her for an impromptu performance at the Kentucky State Fair. She described the memory as “so out of character for him” and laughed about how the prank unraveled onstage—with Dolly even jokingly telling security she didn't know him, until her road manager intervened.A major headline from AOL announced Dolly's Las Vegas return later this year: she's set for six shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in December, marking her first extended residency there in 32 years. “To say I'm excited would be an understatement,” Dolly said in her statement, making clear her enthusiasm for reconnecting with fans in Vegas. The concerts, appropriately titled “Dolly: Live in Las Vegas,” promise seven decades of hits and a setlist fans have dreamt about, along with VIP packages for some up-close Dolly moments. This run coincides with the National Finals Rodeo, turning Vegas into a true Parton-palooza.Meanwhile, Dolly has not just been performing—she's been the subject of a musical about her life, “Dolly: A True Original Musical,” which opened in Nashville in January and is reportedly eyeing Broadway, according to Playbill and AOL. For fans of orchestral music, her multimedia production “Threads: My Songs in Symphony” continues its national tour, bringing Dolly's classics to the concert stage with a symphonic twist—in fact, she headlined in Indianapolis on September 20.The week was not without health-related speculations. People and IMDb reported that Dolly missed the highly anticipated announcement for Dollywood's newest ride due to kidney stone recovery, causing a ripple of concern among fans. Dolly addressed her absence cheerfully in a video message, promising she was with everyone “in spirit” and expected to be back in action soon.Book lovers, mark November 11 on your calendar. “Star of the Show: My Life on Stage”—Dolly's third photographic memoir—drops soon. Reba McEntire called Dolly “her hero” during their livestreamed chat, raving about Dolly's generosity, wit, and authenticity. The pair traded decades of stories, reinforcing their mutual admiration in a conversation that felt like a masterclass on both friendship and show business.Social media buzz has been lively, too. Dolly's enduring impact was referenced in a viral tweet picked up by HuffPost Women, joking about how “it's getting harder and harder to tumble out of bed, stumble into my kitchen to pour a cup of ambition every day,” a playful nod to her “9 to 5” lyrics that perfectly captures her crossover into everyday pop culture. So whether she's sparking Vegas fever, sharing deeply personal stories, celebrating her own journey in new artistic ways, or trending in meme form, Dolly Parton remains a force whose every move resonates far beyond country music. Onward with rhinestones, resilience, and remarkable grace—this week's Dolly headlines are, as always, pure gold.Get the best deals https://amzn.to/3ODvOtaThis content was created in partnership and with the help of Artificial Intelligence AI

Dolly Parton BioSnap a weekly updated Biography.Dolly Parton has been at the center of several major headlines this week, ranging from business news and festival updates to health stories and notable community impacts. The biggest current story is her unexpected absence at Dollywood's highly anticipated September 17 announcement, where the park unveiled plans for NightFlight Expedition, a $50 million ride opening in 2026. According to the Dollywood Instagram and reports from Disney Dining and multiple outlets, Dolly was slated to attend but canceled the night before due to a change in her schedule. Her absence sparked immediate speculation, especially since her public appearances are usually a staple at these events. Later in the day, Parton recorded a heartfelt video message for fans explaining she was unable to travel because of a recent infection, with some outlets like 973 WRDB saying it was due to a kidney stone infection. AOL and other entertainment sources echoed that recent health issues forced her to remain home, underscoring the long-term significance given her age and the ongoing demands of her commitments. The Dollywood announcement itself dominated local coverage, as the NightFlight Expedition is described as the resorts largest investment yet and will blend land, water, and air for a night-time ride through the Smokies. In Parton's statement released by Knox News, she said she was proud of Dollywood's growth over 40 years and her focus remains on families visiting the park. On social media, Dollywood's channels shared the update about her absence and featured highlights from the Harvest Festival, which opened September 12 and kicked off the fall season in her signature, homespun style.Separately, Parton's business footprint in Nashville continues to broaden. The Tennessean reports a new lease deal is advancing between the city and the developer behind her SongTeller Hotel, with the city poised to add a new fire station as part of the agreement, further cementing her impact on the local skyline.Musically, Dolly's new “Threads: My Songs in Symphony” project continues to make news after its May 21 announcement. Variety details that it will premiere in 2025 with the Nashville Symphony, offering a multimedia orchestral experience featuring her music and narrative. This marks her most significant foray into live music since retiring from touring, promising long-term influence on her legacy. Finally, in civic news, Capitol Buzz reports a bittersweet note: Dolly's Imagination Library lost its state funding in Washington, a development seen as a “heartbreaking loss” given the program's national reach and her efforts for early childhood literacy. This mix of business expansion, creative ventures, health updates, and community headlines keeps Dolly Parton in the national conversation and reinforces her status as one of America's most beloved—and busiest—icons.Get the best deals https://amzn.to/3ODvOtaThis content was created in partnership and with the help of Artificial Intelligence AI

Dolly Parton BioSnap a weekly updated Biography.Dolly Parton has been everywhere this week with headlines that touch nearly every facet of her career and personal life. Parade and AOL report that Dolly just publicly mourned the loss of her longtime friend and fellow country legend Jeannie Seely, who died at 85 after battling health complications. Dolly took to Instagram with a heartfelt tribute recalling decades of laughs and tears together and called Seely “one of my dearest friends,” showing her enduring humanity and influence in the country music community. In Nashville, Dolly stole the show at the grand opening of the Country Music Hall of Fame's “Journey of a Seeker” exhibit, where she arrived in a bright, ultra-glamorous all-pink ensemble, rhinestones and butterflies included, to unveil her story for the public. This museum exhibit will run through September 2026, celebrating her life, sound, and the inspiration she continues to provide through generations. During the opening, Alison Krauss & Union Station performed Dolly's classic hits on stage, further cementing her formative influence on American culture, as reported by Parade. But she is not just a museum piece—her original Broadway-bound musical, “DOLLY: A True Original Musical,” wrapped its world premiere run at Belmont University's Fisher Center at the end of August. The show extended its performance schedule by 16 dates, bringing in nearly 78,000 attendees. Dolly personally thanked the cast and crew and signaled that the musical's next iteration may be Broadway itself, according to Fox Nashville. On the music front, she made fresh waves by teaming up with the Zac Brown Band for the new single “Butterfly.” MusicRow raved about the duet, calling it “thrilling” and “essential listening,” and country radio stations are already treating the collaboration as a big deal.Parton continues her philanthropic efforts, with features in outlets like Borgen Magazine highlighting her Imagination Library and her ongoing fight against poverty and for children's literacy worldwide. Discussions of her impact are circulating once again, amplifying her legacy beyond entertainment.Social media has been abuzz not only with her public memorials and exhibit photos but also with condolences from millions of fans and colleagues, admiration for her recent interviews, and excitement about her continued advocacy and business ventures. There have been speculative whispers on fan pages and podcasts about her potential to step back from music to focus on charity and legacy projects—these are largely unconfirmed, but her public comments about prioritizing impact over fame have fueled them.In short, Dolly Parton is proving, at 79, that her relevance is nowhere near fading—her story, her generosity, and her ability to headline major news are as vibrant as her wardrobe this week.Get the best deals https://amzn.to/3ODvOtaThis content was created in partnership and with the help of Artificial Intelligence AI

Dolly Parton BioSnap a weekly updated Biography.Dolly Parton is everywhere this week with major headlines lighting up her legacy and fueling fresh excitement around the queen of country. On September 12, 2025, KTVU FOX 2 reported another milestone for Parton's philanthropic legacy as her Imagination Library children's reading program expanded to San Francisco, promising free books to every child under 5 and pushing her total global book distribution over 200 million. Not content to just deliver literacy, the superstar is also front-and-center in the arts: on December 5, Parton made waves announcing via her own social media a national casting call, “The Search for Dolly,” for the upcoming Broadway show Dolly: An Original Musical, set to hit the stage in 2026—inviting hopefuls to audition by singing her songs on social media using #SearchForDolly, with formal tryouts on the horizon in New York as covered by AOL.If you love her songs but miss her live, get ready: Parton's “Threads: My Songs in Symphony” opens the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra's 2025–26 season this September 19 and 20 in a visually immersive symphonic tribute to Dolly, where she will guide audiences onscreen through her musical journey with fresh orchestrations, special guest vocalists, and personal stories. Jack Everly, principal Pops Conductor, calls it a unique “multimedia symphonic experience,” giving fans a whole new way to experience her music now that she's retired from touring, as reported by WBIW and Variety. This symphony series follows the recent news that Dolly was just certified a Guinness World Records ICON in recognition of her unparalleled music and cultural impact. The headlines just keep coming: Real Country 103.5 spotlights Dolly's new single with Zac Brown Band, “Butterfly”—another soaring duet already turning into a fan favorite. Meanwhile, AOL points out that Dolly isn't afraid to speak her mind, recently sharing candid opinions about pop contemporaries and still weighing in on industry debates via her massive social following, not to mention attending high-profile events like the recent Americana Honors and Awards.Philanthropy is always a throughline. Beyond gifting millions of books, Dolly's Dollywood Foundation continues to fight poverty and empower communities, as Borgen Magazine highlights. Her past $1 million donation helped fund the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, saving countless lives worldwide. Her musical “Smoky Mountain Christmas Carol” returns this holiday in Clearwater, still featuring her songs and lyrics. Each of these moves underscores why, at 79, Dolly is considered a living icon, still setting records, mentoring the next generation, and spreading hope across the globe. No unconfirmed rumors or unsourced gossip have emerged in recent days—just fact after stellar fact, proving yet again that Dolly Parton's spotlight refuses to dim.Get the best deals https://amzn.to/3ODvOtaThis content was created in partnership and with the help of Artificial Intelligence AI

Dolly Parton BioSnap a weekly updated Biography.Dolly Parton can't seem to slow down even for a moment. The biggest story making headlines is her powerful new duet, Butterfly, with Zac Brown and the Zac Brown Band, released September 5. Critics from MusicTalkers and Parade alike call the ballad a spiritual, cinematic anthem of resilience and hope. The release arrived not only with a beautifully produced track but also a deeply moving music video featuring both artists. According to Zac Brown, the collaboration was a dream come true, and he describes Dolly's vocals as transformative, saying she brought a whole new perspective and “so much heart and soul” to the song. Fans are already flooding social media with praise for the pairing and have made the video a must-watch on YouTube and Instagram in the first forty-eight hours.Butterfly is included in the Zac Brown Band's upcoming album, Love & Fear, due out December 5—the very day they launch their sold-out Las Vegas Sphere residency. Industry watchers are buzzing about a possible live duet during December's Sphere run, although no official announcement has been made. While this is not yet confirmed, the excitement is only amplified by Zac and Dolly's visible camaraderie on social media, with Zac's fiancée Kendra Scott even joining the chorus of enthusiastic fans.If that weren't enough, tomorrow night Dolly's legacy gets honored as the Cleveland Orchestra brings Threads: My Songs in Symphony to the Blossom Music Center. The production, developed by Parton herself with Schirmer Theatrical and Sony Music Publishing, recasts Dolly's signature hits in a grand multimedia symphonic format. Parton will not appear on stage, but she's ‘featured on screen' throughout the evening in what she herself has called one of the most special projects of her career. This innovative celebration threads her life story and musical journey together for audiences nationwide—another sign her iconic catalog is only growing in stature. On the business front, Dolly continues to bat away internet scams using her likeness, specifically those false rumors about her endorsing CBD gummies that have popped up in unsanctioned Facebook ads. In a typically witty Instagram statement this week, Team Dolly clarified she has not endorsed any such product, declaring she's truly “the cake, cookie, and cornbread type.” Instead, she recently expanded her official food line with new Duncan Hines offerings, delighting fans with fresh cornbread and brownie mixes. And just to remind everyone she's always relatable, Dolly told Business Insider in a new interview that her go-to order at Taco Bell remains the classic soft taco—with extra hot sauce, of course. From music milestones to myth-busting on social media, September finds Dolly Parton as both an always-evolving icon and the down-to-earth queen her fans adore.Get the best deals https://amzn.to/3ODvOta

Dolly Parton BioSnap a weekly updated Biography.Dolly Parton continues to prove she's a genuine force of nature, showing no signs of slowing down as she prepares to celebrate her 80th birthday next January. In the most headline-grabbing development, Dolly just released a new single called Broken Angels, collaborating with bluegrass band The Grascals. The track doesn't shy away from tough themes—addiction and recovery—and marks the debut single from The Grascals' upcoming album, highlighting Dolly's commitment to social issues that affect real people. She co-wrote the song with Jamie Johnson from The Grascals, reinforcing their two-decade-long partnership. Both fans and critics agree the song speaks to Dolly's relevance in contemporary bluegrass and country, and Bluegrass Today and HERE Bristol confirm the single is already making waves.Meanwhile, public appearances took a bittersweet turn in late August when Dolly was expected to make a splash in Bozeman, Montana, celebrating the two-year milestone of her Imagination Library's statewide expansion. The event, hosted by First Lady of Montana Susan Gianforte, was packed with fans decked out in Parton-inspired fashion, but unfortunately Dolly was sidelined by an ear infection. Nevertheless, she sent a warm video message and shared her hopes to reschedule. Governor Gianforte and country singer Stephanie Quayle kept spirits high, even as Dolly's absence was palpable. Local Montana press covered the event extensively, championing the library's impact, as nearly one in every two children in the state now receives a free monthly book thanks to Dolly's philanthropic vision. On the business and legacy front, Dolly is stoking anticipation for her upcoming Life of Many Colors Museum, slated to open in 2026 within her new SongTeller Hotel in Nashville. Fresh updates in late August showcased renderings and teased the Hall Of Fame Exhibit, which will trace every dazzling decade of Dolly's life, showcasing her wardrobe, awards, and other never-before-seen memorabilia. The hotel promises to be a must-visit destination for music lovers, with regular sneak peeks fueling excitement across her Instagram and official channels. This museum will operate alongside the Journey of a Seeker exhibit honoring Dolly at the Country Music Hall of Fame, a blockbuster success since opening this spring, with media and fanfare peaking after Dolly herself turned heads at the May 19 preview in a stunning all-pink outfit. In major entertainment news, Dolly is set to roll out a multimedia symphonic storytelling tour called Threads: My Songs in Symphony, set to debut with the Nashville Symphony in March 2025. Variety and AOL broke the story, noting how Dolly will guide audiences via on-screen narration, as orchestras and guest vocalists reimagine her catalog—essentially, a new chapter in her stage career without the grueling pace of road tours.Social media, as always, has been ablaze with Dolly content—from viral fan tributes to replays of her uplifting message to Montana, to Instagram teases of her new museum. Fan engagement soared during the late-summer costume events and museum sneak peeks, while coverage of her growing business empire appeared in outlets like Country Music Alley. Worth mentioning: her net worth now hovers around $750 million thanks to her relentless creativity, brand expansions, and ever-popular Dollywood. In sum, Dolly Parton remains at the very center of music, culture, and philanthropy, as every new headline affirms her status as both an enduring icon and a woman who just keeps rewriting her own fabulous story.Get the best deals https://amzn.to/3ODvOta

The public's love for Dolly was further reflected in glowing reviews on Tripadvisor for her energetic Stampede Dinner Attraction in Pigeon Forge, which continues to earn Best of the Best status.Speculation about possible operational challenges at Dollywood has rippled through business columns, and some fans are wondering how this might affect future expansions and seasonal festivals. But nothing is confirmed about closures—everything points to Dolly's teams working overtime to keep the magic going for millions of annual visitors. The headline this week has to be Dolly's continued reign as country music's queen of entertainment and philanthropy—museum builder, business mogul, Las Vegas star, and the beating heart behind America's favorite dinner shows and theme parks.Get the best deals https://amzn.to/3ODvOta

As referenced by TODAY.com, tickets went on sale last week and VIP packages include photo ops and exclusive merchandise, marking her return to Vegas after nearly a decade. Throughout the concert series, she'll showcase hits spanning her seven-decade career, reinforcing her relevance with both nostalgic and new listeners. In tandem with these performances, Parade magazine noted Dolly's announcement of a collectible vinyl release of her 2008 Live From London concert, out October 10. The vinyl comes in three unique editions and pre-sales have been brisk, driven by nostalgic fans and vinyl collectors alike.Business-wise, Parton's empire continues to expand and evolve. PR Newswire and major financial outlets like Forbes and The Tradable confirm her net worth has climbed to $650 million, with Dollywood and a suite of branded ventures like Doggy Parton pet gear and cookware thriving. On August 20, Dolly issued a statement about a business and philanthropy leadership transition: longtime advisor Ted Miller will retire, and Jeff Conyers, current head of her Dollywood Foundation, will take over as senior liaison next year. Industry insiders see this as a move to solidify succession and preserve her philanthropic vision for decades, especially regarding the Imagination Library program.Fans should also watch for her upcoming book Star of the Show: My Life on Stage due out in November and ongoing work on a Broadway musical about her life, slated for 2026 with ATG Productions. Local impact remains strong as Dolly continues supporting medical centers and education in Tennessee, actions highlighted by finance and philanthropic reports. On Broadway, Dolly Parton's Smoky Mountain Christmas Carol is scheduled for return performances on tour, blending her songwriting with Dickens to acclaim from critics and family audiences alike.Speculation and unconfirmed rumors have swirled about additional surprise TV appearances and collaborations, but no major news outlet has verified new music releases or cameo roles for August beyond the aforementioned public engagements. For now, the headlines capture a mix of personal loss, career celebration, and deliberate succession planning, underscoring Dolly Parton as both a beloved entertainer and shrewd architect of her own lasting cultural legacy.Get the best deals https://amzn.to/3ODvOta
