Influencers Part 1: The Father of FaithBill CorleyOriginal Air Date: 2025.03.23“Influencer,” one who exerts influence: a person who inspires or guides the actions of others. There are millions of influencers across social media platforms today... who are some of the most famous influencers today? Who influences you? How have they influenced you?We may follow someone for different reasons, but we may also notice that the influence someone has on a person can be temporary as fads or circumstances change - most often due to false claims or offensive material. So, how do you know if an influencer is the real deal? ... LONGEVITYWhether we realize it or not, the idea of influencers is nothing new, in fact it started in the beginning – in the book of Genesis, Satan influenced Eve to sin when he sold her a bill of goods that got her, and her husband, kicked out of the Garden of Eden. Since that time, the power of influence is everywhere. But there is one influencer who had stood the test of time - God. His influence, as seen in His plan to repair the damage done by Satan, working through average people like you, to influence the world and reconcile others to Him, has lasted for thousands of years and continues on.Our new series, “Influencers” will take a look at some of the greatest influencers throughout history, the impact they made, and how it all ties into Jesus and the plan of salvation. The series begins the weekend of March 22-23 and goes through Easter. We invite you to invite your friends and family to join us for Easter Services on Saturday the 22nd at 5:30 PM and Sunday Morning at 10:30AM. Kids' Church and Youth are available at the Sunday service only.Regular Service Times are Saturday Evening at 5:30pm and Sunday Morning at 10:30 am. Act 2 launches this Tuesday with a new mode called Court of Blades. It takes inspiration from Destiny 1 Court of Oryx. It has an augment system similar to what WoW had in Torghast. 5 new weapons are tied to this activity. Guardian games also launches with Act 2. Guardian games has a boss rush mode as an activity. Bungie had a developer stream last week going over Act 2, and gave information on new things coming in Act 3 which launches only 3 weeks after Act 2. Act 3 has a mode coming that is basically what LFR is in Wow but for Destiny 2 dungeons called explorer mode. It seems pretty cool, basically a matchmade activity with a lot of markers and tips in game on how to complete the dungeon. No organized guild activities, there are a handful of us still playing and getting together to run Nightfalls and dungeons. WoW In WoW news, the Liberation of Undermine Raid arrived, with lots of crazy mechanics and a big Vegas vibe. First boss Vexie and the Geargrinders make quite an entrance! You have been warned. Raid Team Kiddie Aggro cleared Normal (Good night, Gallywix) as well as Vexie on Heroic. Alliance Raid team Hell Froze Over downed five bosses on Normal - up to Sprocket-monger Lockenstock. Their progression Team, So Let's Go Skating - picks up right about now with The One-Armed Bandit. Noob Raid defeated two bosses - Vexie and the Cauldron of Carnage (aka Mecha Kong vs Fire Breathing T-Rex) and the weekly World Boss. Great job, Noob Raiders! There is one wing (three bosses) available in LFR for those with gear level 606. On Tuesday, the raid will be available on Story Mode for solo players. You don't get loot but can complete a quest for a nice crafting upgrade item. Delves in Season 2 award a new customizable mount: Delver's Gob-Trotter, and Bran can now tank,

We know there is a direct correlation between inflammation and disease risk. But how can a piece of fabric play a role in this? Dr. Jackson Corley, former chiropractor turned founder of Incrediwear, shares how his activewear brand harnesses semiconductor technology to reduce inflammation and promote healing. By releasing infrared waves when heated by the body, Incrediwear's products—such as compression sleeves and shirts—vibrate cells, enhance blood flow, and reduce inflammation. Corley explains how chronic inflammation underlies many health issues and how his products aim to improve overall function and well-being. He also highlights the future application of his technology and the studies they are working on to demonstrate its potential with stem-cell therapy and in boosting cognitive function. A champion of living life to the fullest, he emphasizes the importance of daily routine, self-care, and quality sleep in optimizing cellular health. You set up an assumption, you have a theory, you analyze your data, and you show that the assumption does not hold. Doing good qualitative research is that simple. Except that it's not, of course. On the ground, in the research and writing process, these basic rules can be quite tricky to implement. So we discuss some heuristics researchers can use to limit their conversants, settle on suitable theoretical lenses to examine their data, and collecting more data than what they thought was necessary.   References Geertz, C. The news of Texas covered today includes:Our Lone Star story of the day: Lubbock County's Bowtie Bully, Curtis Parrish, held a press conference in which he did little but offer deception to the people about what it means to adopt the No New Revenue Rate, meaning no tax increase for next year, by commissioners Rackler and Corley properly using a provision of the law to deny the Bowtie Bully's planed $7.5 million spending increase and accompanying tax increase. He made such incredibly ridiculous claims such as: Not raising taxes will destroy the county's bond rating increasing costs in the future. Never mind that all bond payment spending is in the current budget and will be in the new budget with the No New Revenue Tax Rate. That not adopting his $7.5 million INCREASE in spending will cause them to “make the deepest, most massive cuts in the history of the county.” That my friends is an outright, undebatable lie. The budget with not tax increase will still be larger than that of the current year. That commissioners breaking a quorum, the only way they can prevent a big tax increase given the other three are voting for such, is the same as Democrats breaking the legislative quorum. Another baldfaced lie from the Bowtie Bully. It is against state law to break a legislative quorum but state law specifically allows for blocking a tax increase by two commissioners refusing to show up for the vote. It has been done in Lubbock County before, in Harris County, the state's largest just a few years ago, and who knows where else in our 254 counties. Parrish claims that, somehow, not having a tax increase and increasing spending by $7.5 million this coming year will greatly harm the county for many years to come. Really? Not growing government beyond population, inflation, and economic growth will be a harm? That's a D.C. Democrat idea. Interestingly, after harping on non-existent “cuts,” Sheriff Rowe admitted that a budget with the No New Revenue Tax Rate would still be a big increase in spending over the current budget when he said that he was expecting 8 new deputies with the tax increase but will only get half that amount, 4, without the tax increase. Our Lone Star story of the day is sponsored by Allied Compliance Services providing the best service in DOT, business and personal drug and alcohol testing since 1995.Texas workforce keeps growing, unemployment at 4.2% for August.Rig count goes up.Listen on the radio, or station stream, at 5pm Central.
