Gabriel can't sleep. Elandra learns that breakups are hard, even for robots. Norelle and Bridget's very bad week continues, Safia is probably out of a job, and Andrea and Rosalind try their hand at summoning.
Chickens come home to roost, in more ways than one. Jonathan reconnects with an old friend. Safia suspects her siblings may be up to something. Far away in the Centauri system, a 16 year old girl experiences an old fashioned high school breakup. Norelle and Bridget investigate the Archmage's attack and Elandra realizes she's in over her head.
