Gabriel Berns is ordered to get off Tyr while the getting is good, but can't resist chasing one last lead when it lands in his lap. Bridget prepares for a dangerous mission, Haiken does some research, and Felix and Jynn get stuck in customs. Elandra leaves Ayaki-Shun and makes her way towards Penelope, and Penelope learns more about the androids from Theolus. While Elandra and Penelope were in slip traveling to Amaterasu system, a helluva lot went down on Tyr. Winding back to day 1, Gabriel continues his investigation of the Ereshkigal summoning. Over the course of two weeks, Bridget sees the Free Wolf conflict turn into a war. Back after a month long hiatus! Eris and Kay get to know each other. Andrea escapes Chiron. Felix lays things out to Jynn. Penelope runs out of water. And Elandra visits the Oracle of Iza.

Elandra needs a cover story. Bridget needs a plan. Andrea needs to get tf off the planet. Gabriel and Hadrian Helser clash, Rosalind and Qamar explore the possibility of friendship, oh, and let's see what Felix Petreius has been up to...

The high gravity on Tyr has managed to pull most of our heroes into Halspur, and not a moment too soon. Political interests clash, desperate decisions are made, and unlikely alliances are born in the wake of a white-knuckled race to save the colony from destruction.

Gabriel can't sleep. Elandra learns that breakups are hard, even for robots. Norelle and Bridget's very bad week continues, Safia is probably out of a job, and Andrea and Rosalind try their hand at summoning.

Chickens come home to roost, in more ways than one. Jonathan reconnects with an old friend. Safia suspects her siblings may be up to something. Far away in the Centauri system, a 16 year old girl experiences an old fashioned high school breakup. Norelle and Bridget investigate the Archmage's attack and Elandra realizes she's in over her head.

Picking up directly from the end of Episode 1, we meet new characters, do more magic, and spend quality time with the Lord Regent, Gabriel Berns himself. Elandra and Penelope do a trust fall. Norelle visits the Archmage, interrupting his hangout. And Bridget learns the hard way that sometimes witches are snitches.

Elandra Ramirez, First Arcanist of the United Star Systems Alliance, arrives on the planet of Freya, 14 light years from Earth. Her mission: investigate a claim that a wealthy collector's android has begun practicing witchcraft. Elsewhere in the same star system, an ex-Navy Seal summoner and a criminal enchantress wend their way through the streets of Halspur, searching for a rare book. What follows is more than any of them expected: a colony on the brink of collapse, a rogue demonologist, and a powerful sorcerer-turned-demagogue who will stop at nothing until the android is destroyed.
