This is maybe the biggest week in a game-changing year, and it's no time to be timid (which, by the end of the week, you definitely won't feel like doing anyway). The setup: Four of the slowest, heaviest planets in the sky have spent years crawling into a formation that finally clicks together now, all of them parked in brand-new signs, all of them in a weirdly cooperative arrangement that only comes around every few generations. The last time two of these particular ones got together like this, it was the 1920s. So, it's big big.Key moments of the week:Sunday, July 19: Mars in Gemini sextile Saturn in Aries (2:10PM)Monday, July 20: Jupiter in Leo trine Neptune in Aries (3:22AM)Monday, July 20: Jupiter in Leo opposite Pluto in Aquarius (10:45AM)Tuesday, July 21: Jupiter in Leo sextile Uranus in Gemini (7:10AM)Wednesday, July 22: Sun enters Leo (3:13PM)Thursday, July 23: Sun in Leo square Chiron in Taurus (11:35AM)Thursday, July 23: Mercury stations direct in Cancer (6:58PM)Friday, July 24: Mercury in Cancer sextile Venus in Virgo (12:12AM)Saturday, July 25: Neptune in Aries sextile Pluto in Aquarius (1:48AM)Sunday, July 26: Saturn stations retrograde in Aries (3:56PM)To read your, your kids', and your co-parents' daily horoscopes for this week, along with the detailed daily insights throughout the week, and personalized insights for every transit going on right now (plus deep dive parenting guides based on your specific chart and your kids' charts), pop over to the website or either app store:Get started on the websiteiPhone and iPad appsAndroid app
After months away, I've returned to New Zealand and found myself reflecting on what it really means to come home not just physically, but within ourselves. In this episode, we explore the paradox of transformation: how we don't become someone new by abandoning who we were, but by shedding the layers, beliefs, and identities that were never truly ours. We talk about the ego, Carl Jung's ideas around identity, the relationship between the individual and the collective, and how returning to ourselves is often a process of remembering rather than becoming. Astrologically, we dive into Pluto in Aquarius, Jupiter in Leo, and Chiron's return to Taurus — exploring themes of creativity, belonging, healing old wounds, and finding the courage to express what is uniquely ours. This week's invitation is simple: sit with the feelings you've been avoiding. The wound you are willing to feel may hold the key to your next breakthrough. ⏱️ Timestamps: 00:00 – Intro 05:44 – Pluto in Aquarius 12:44 – Jupiter in Leo 15:18 - Aquarius/Leo axis and Mercury RX 20:51 - Chiron in Taurus

The Long Cycles ConvergeLast week we named three great cycles being activated simultaneously. This week Jupiter weaves through all three in rapid succession — bringing what is large and transpersonal into the realm of the humanly meaningful. Into story, culture, and the conversations where collective transformation actually takes root. This week also carries a transit that deserves its own moment of recognition. On Friday, Neptune in Aries sextiles Pluto in Aquarius, the two slowest moving planets in flowing alignment, directly activating their own great cycle seeded in the lates 1890s.And the Sun follows. Mercury stations direct. Saturn stations retrograde. A rare threshold is reaching its crescendo.Key Cycles This Week:Monday, July 20: Jupiter in Leo opposes Pluto in Aquarius and trines Neptune in Aries. Jupiter opens the week with two major contacts holding the essential tension of this entire threshold period. The opposition to Pluto, the Expander meeting the Transformer, activates the unfinished Uranus-Pluto Virgo revolution from the mid 1960's around power, identity, and who gets to flourish. Where does the desire to be fully seen meet the power structures that have historically demanded containment? On the same day Jupiter trines Neptune in Aries, activating the Uranus-Neptune Capricorn cycle from the early 1990's, the dissolution of old structures of authority and meaning. Flow rather than rupture. The invitation to imagine what might replace what is dissolving. Hold both transits together. The confrontation with power and the opening of new vision are the same threshold approached from two directions.Tuesday, July 21: Jupiter in Leo sextiles Uranus in Gemini. Jupiter completes its rapid weaving through all three long cycles. This sextile activates the Neptune-Pluto Gemini cycle from the late 1890's, the revolution in mind, communication, and shared reality. New ideas finding unexpected audiences. Connections forming between people and communities that would not ordinarily find each other. In two days Jupiter has touched all three great cycles, bringing each into the realm of collective story and shared meaning.Wednesday, July 22: Sun enters Leo. Leo season begins in a field already charged by everything building around it. The Sun in Leo asks what is genuinely alive in you that wants to be expressed — not performed, not managed, but genuinely offered from the place that knows its own worth. In a collective moment asking so much endurance, Leo season is not a distraction. It is a necessary counterweight.Thursday, July 23: Sun in Leo squares Chiron in Taurus. Mercury stations direct at 16 degrees Cancer. The desire to shine meets the wound of unworthiness in its most embodied form. Where does the body carry the memory of having been seen and found lacking? Let what is tender be visible to yourself at least. That is enough for today. At the same time Mercury stations direct, completing three weeks of retrograde review in the realm of feeling and belonging. What the interior work of these weeks revealed, the emotional truth that found language, the unfinished conversation revisited, is now ready to move forward. Trust what you know now. It is ready to be spoken.Friday, July 24: Neptune in Aries sextiles Pluto in Aquarius. Before Saturn and the Sun's confrontation with Pluto, something quieter and more vast deserves naming. The two slowest moving planets, the Imaginal Field and the Transformer, in flowing alignment. This is the great Neptune-Pluto cycle speaking to itself across time, the revolution in mind and shared reality seeded in the late 1890s now activated through a harmonious aspect between the two planets themselves. In the background of everything else moving through this week, this is a quiet and profound current. What is the imagination of humanity reaching toward beneath the noise and the breakdown? What is being dissolved so that something genuinely new can find its form? These are questions that do not resolve in a day. But they are worth sitting with as the longest arc of the three great cycles makes itself briefly, quietly known.Sunday, July 26: Saturn stations retrograde at 15 degrees Aries. Sun in Leo opposes Pluto in Aquarius. Saturn turning inward begins months of honest interior review. What structures in your life are genuinely serving who you are becoming? On the same day the Sun opposes Pluto, the Conscious Self meeting the Transformer directly. Where are you being asked to step into genuine visibility in the face of systems that have historically demanded your containment? Sun opposing Pluto makes that question undeniable. Sometimes the undeniable question is the most useful gift.Looking Ahead to Next WeekMonday, July 27 the Lunar Nodes change signs. The North Node enters Leo, the South Node enters Aquarius — an eighteen-month shift asking the collective to develop toward genuine creative expression and the courage to offer individual gifts in service of the whole.Wednesday, July 29 brings a Full Moon at 6 degrees of Aquarius conjunct Pluto, opposing Jupiter in Leo, and activating all three long cycles simultaneously. The Sun and Moon in direct contact with Pluto while touching Neptune in Aries and Uranus in Gemini. This is the culmination of everything this arc has been building toward. Its own fuller story is coming in next's week podcast.Reflection QuestionsAs Jupiter weaves through all three long cycles, which thread feels most urgently alive in your own life and community right now?Where does the Sun squaring Chiron illuminate a wound around visibility or worthiness, and what would it mean to let that be seen rather than managed around? As Mercury stations direct and Saturn stations retrograde on the same day, what emotional truth is ready to be spoken, and what inner structure is ready to be honestly assessed? You are being prepared for something. Stay present to the preparation.Podcast poem: Working Together by David WhyteIf what we have been exploring these past two weeks is resonating — the long cycles, the thresholds of becoming, the invitation to shed what is false and remember what is genuinely true in you — I want to offer something that meets exactly that territory. The Inner Alchemist's Path is a private podcast journey through seven thresholds of transformation. The Moon pulls the tides of the ocean, but the question that won't let us go is simpler and stranger: what is it pulling in us? Melanie Reinhart joins me for a wide, grounded, moonlit ramble through lunar consciousness, astrology, and the body. We start with the moon as a constant companion for earthlings, a reliable rhythm of waxing and waning that can steady us when life feels politically, personally, and collectively turbulent. From there, we drop into somatic territory. We talk craniosacral therapy and the experience of “tides” in the system, from surface noise to the deeper mid tide and the long tide where time feels different. That becomes a living metaphor for the lunar path: not a heroic push to achieve, but a deepening that restores life force. We also bring in the Orphic Hymn to the Moon as an invocation practice and explore why reverence matters, not as an antique idea but as a way to relate to powers we still live inside. We get practical about moon phases too: the dark of the moon as a window for retreat, the full moon as an emotional amplifier, and how lunar timing can support better choices in work, conflict, learning, and creativity. We move into dreams as night-world digestion, why forcing interpretations can block the nourishment, and how light pollution mirrors a cultural forgetting of darkness, sleep, and imagination. If you care about the lunar cycle, dreamwork, depth psychology, the Jungian unconscious, or the roots of astrology in the night sky, this conversation is for you.*the above blurb was auto-generated by Buzzsprout's AI.Cover Artwork is The Fairy of the moon by Hermann Kaulbach (b&w) circa 1891 with a background extension from Canva. The Orphic Hymns including the one in this episode dedicated to the moon, and the invocation with Musaeus. It's the Thomas Taylor translation from 1792. Melanie's personal favourite.Find out more about Melanie and her work here. She has many great books including, famously, Chiron and the Healing Journey.Melanie reads from:Dane Rudhyar, The Lunation Cycle: A Key to the Understanding of Personality, from the section “The Pattern of the Lunation Cycle.”Rudolf Steiner, “In Pure Rays of Light” The verse appears in Esoteric Instructions (GA 264), with related commentary in an esoteric lesson of 5 December 1907 (GA 266/I).We discuss:Iain McGilchrist's book: The Master and his Emissary and associate right brain activity with the moon and left brain with Mercury.Jung, obviously, comes up a lot. I paraphrase this quotation from him.We also talk about the Tides in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy. If you'd like to know more about that the work of Franklyn Sills (may he rest in peace) is a good starting point.Clearing up the confusion of the 'far side' vs the 'dark side' of the moon we go to NASA...But always appreciative to Pink Floyd for creating such confusion but also such a cracking album.Melanie also mentions the Dark Sky Movement. Such important work. Have a look at darksky.org.We also acknowledge that "mentor" is not etymologically related to Mene or taurus. What we're engaging in during that section is a nice bit of folk etymology.Join the Newsletter!Podcast Musician: Marlia CoeurPlease consider becoming a Patron to support the show!Go to OnTheSoulsTerms.com for more.

In this bold, heartfelt, and hilariously honest episode of The Midlife Makeover Show, Wendy Valentine welcomes back one of the show's all-time favorite guests for the THIRD time — Andrea Owen, author, global keynote speaker, certified life coach, and the woman whose book helped inspire Wendy to become an author herself. Andrea is back with her brand-new book, Live Like You Give a Damn, a straight-talking guide featuring 25 powerful truths to help you stop going through the motions, kick limiting patterns to the curb, and show up for your life like you actually mean it. From the "shit sandwich" you didn't ask for to the intuition you keep sending to voicemail, Andrea and Wendy dig into what it really takes to stop pretending to change — and start living like you mean it. What You'll Learn• Why most of us stay stuck in the "pre-contemplation" phase of change — and what it takes to finally move• How to stop sending your intuition to voicemail — and what happens when you finally pick up• The fascinating story of the Chiron return and why your late 40s to early 50s are literally written in the stars for transformation• How to "metabolize" the challenges life hands you — and why digesting them (not avoiding them) is the only path through• Why the people who have hurt you the most are actually your greatest teachers — and how to start seeing them as mirrors
The Long Cycles Become VisibleSomething unusual is happening in the sky this month. Not just the weekly transits. Something larger. A convergence of long cycles that rarely become visible all at once — briefly illuminated in ways that allow us to feel their presence and direction. This week I am taking more time than usual to orient you in that larger field before walking the specific transits. The Three Long CyclesIn astrology, when two outer planets meet in conjunction, they seed a cycle that unfolds over generations. Three of these great cycles were seeded in the last 130 years. This month all three are being activated simultaneously.Neptune conjunct Pluto in Gemini, late 1890s. Gemini governs mind, language, communication, and how reality is constructed and shared. This conjunction seeded a revolution in all of those domains — mass media, the discovery of the unconscious, technologies that transformed how human beings perceive and communicate. The AI emergence, the fracturing of shared reality, the speed at which language and information now move — this is that Gemini cycle in its current expression.Uranus conjunct Pluto in Virgo, mid-1960s. Virgo governs the body, healing, and the relationship between the individual and the systems they inhabit. This conjunction seeded a revolution in identity and power — civil rights, feminism, the environmental movement, the questioning of who gets to belong and on whose terms. The wounds of who has been excluded, whose body deemed less valuable, whose labor extracted — this cycle is still metabolizing in the collective body.Uranus conjunct Neptune in Capricorn, early 1990s. Capricorn governs structure, authority, and the institutions that organize collective life. This conjunction seeded the dissolution of old structures of collective meaning — the fall of the Soviet Union, globalization, the beginning of the internet age, the slow unraveling of institutional frameworks that once held collective life together. Those structures have never been fully replaced. What is breaking down in collective systems right now is this Capricorn cycle in its current expression. This month, through flowing trines and sextiles, all three cycles are being activated simultaneously. This is why many people are experiencing this time as both overwhelming and somehow significant in a way they cannot quite name. Something genuinely large is in motion.Key Cycles This Week:Monday, July 13: Venus in Virgo squares Uranus in Gemini. Unexpected friction in relationship. A desire for more authenticity running up against existing patterns and expectations. Hold relationships with spaciousness. What feels like disruption may be asking for genuine realignment rather than repair of what no longer fits.Tuesday, July 14: New Moon at 22 degrees of Cancer. The most personal question in the middle of everything large: what do you need in order to feel genuinely held right now? This New Moon also invites tending the ancestral field. What has been passed down that is being asked to transform? What do you want to consciously seed differently for those who come after?Wednesday, July 15: Uranus in Gemini sextiles Neptune in Aries. The revolution in mind and communication in easy flow with the dissolution of old identities and the emergence of new vision. Genuine creative and visionary potential available today. Stay curious about what arrives in image, in impulse, in what the imagination reaches toward.Friday, July 17: Uranus in Gemini trines Pluto in Aquarius. One of the most significant contacts of the month. The Awakener and the Transformer in flowing alignment, directly activating the Uranus-Pluto Virgo cycle of the 1960s. Where that conjunction was rupturing initiation, this trine offers flow — new pathways for what was seeded in that turbulent decade. Not a transit to merely observe. A transit to act from.Sunday, July 19: Mars in Gemini sextiles Saturn in Aries. A grounding close to an activated week. Inspiration finding form. Insight becoming commitment. What has moved through you this week that wants to become something real and actionable?Looking AheadNext week the activation deepens further — Jupiter opposing Pluto, the Sun entering Leo, Saturn stationing retrograde, and a Full Moon at 6 degrees of Aquarius conjunct Pluto and square Chiron. A culmination moment for everything this two-week arc is building toward. Episode 374 will go deeper into what these cycles are asking of us personally and collectively.Reflection QuestionsOf the three great cycles, which feels most alive and present in your own life right now?At this Cancer New Moon, what does your interior life genuinely need in order to feel held enough to be present to what is unfolding? What does the larger arc of collective transformation seem to be asking of you specifically, given your gifts, your wounds, your particular place in the web of life? You are living inside something genuinely large. That is not a burden. It is, in its own way, a privilege — to be alive at a moment when the long arcs of collective transformation are briefly, unusually visible.Podcast poem: Continue by Maya AngelouIf you are feeling called to work more deeply with these themes of tending, belonging, and rooting yourself within larger cycles of change, I invite you to join me in the Root in the Sacred group coaching program. Amelie Polk, of Ask Amelie, through her own harrowing journey from burnout, chronic illness, and rigid self-optimization to vibrant alignment, has cracked the code on one of astrology's most misunderstood truths — that the stars don't dictate your fate; they give you permission to finally be yourself. In this episode, Amelie shares the practical, body-based framework that's transforming how we approach daily life: using your Mars sign to find workouts you'll actually love, your Venus sign to dress for self-worth and attraction, and your Chiron placement to turn your deepest wounds into your greatest medicine. Not abstract spirituality. Not vague predictions. An actual manual for unlearning society's shoulds and reclaiming your energetic signature. We go deep into the massive planetary shifts ahead — Chiron's transit into Taurus (a collective reckoning with money, body image, and safety), Jupiter's move into Leo (visibility, performance, and the fall of inauthentic fame), and Pluto's relentless push to tear down corrupt structures for a more empowered collective. This may just be the most grounded cosmic conversation you'll hear. Are you living your chart — or are you still performing someone else's?

This week's astrology invites us to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with what truly matters. We begin with a challenging conversation between the Sun in Cancer and Saturn in Aries, reminding us that strength and compassion can exist together. It's a beautiful opportunity to offer ourselves the same empathy and kindness we so often extend to others. Neptune also begins its five-month retrograde journey in Aries, inviting us to revisit the dreams, inspirations, and inner callings that first emerged at the beginning of the year. What has become clearer? What illusions have gently fallen away? And what vision is asking to be reclaimed with greater wisdom? Later in the week, Venus enters thoughtful Virgo, bringing grace and care to our relationships, daily lives and acts of service. As Venus forms a harmonious connection with Chiron in Taurus, the heart has an opportunity to heal through self-worth, simplicity and the quiet realization that we are already enough. Join me for this week's episode of The Golden Astrologer Podcast as we explore a week of reflection, healing and gentle transformation—and discover how the cosmos is inviting us to move forward with greater clarity, compassion, and purpose.
Lionel Messi's birth chart is WAY more emotional than I ever expected... and honestly? I think it might be one of the sweetest celebrity charts we've looked at.
Mercury Retrograde wants you to reflect, while Mars trine Pluto wants you to go deep. The Sun and Saturn square off, calling things further into question, while Venus and Chiron create energy for healing. It's another week in paradise on Ghost of a Podcast! This week we're working with eight transits, headlined by Neptune beginning its retrograde through Aries and Venus transiting into Virgo. The week opens tense. The Sun squares Saturn, then the Moon, and Neptune turns retrograde right on top of it all, pulling us back toward the past, our roots, the ones who raised us. Then Venus slips into Virgo and hands us the analytic hat: it's time to take an honest inventory of the people we're in relationship with. But Mercury is still retrograde, so what we do with what we find matters more than what we find. Where are our boundaries soft? Where have we lost a little faith in who we are? We're reflecting all the way back to childhood this week, and asking whether the twelve-year-old still running the show is really who we want to be.(07:28) The Sun in Cancer Square Saturn in Aries 14° – July 3 – July 7 (Saturday – Tuesday) – Monday, July 6.(13:10) Neptune Retrograde in Aries 04°25' – Tuesday, July 7March 16, 2026 – Mercury Enters its Retrograde Shadow in Cancer 16°18'July 7, 2026 – Neptune Retrograde in Aries 04°25'December 12, 2026 – Neptune Direct in Aries 01°36'April 2, 2027 – Neptune Exits its Retrograde Shadow in Aries 04°25'(26:16) The Sun in Cancer Square the Moon in Aries 15°41' on Tuesday, July 7 at 12:28 PM PDT(29:21) Venus in Virgo – Thursday, July 9 – August 6, 2026Dates that Venus transited through Virgo previously:September 19 – October 13, 2025August 4 – 29, 2024October 8 – November 8, 2023September 4 - 29, 2022July 21 - August 15, 2021(36:48) Venus in Virgo Trine Chiron in Taurus 00° – July 9 – July 10 (Thursday – Friday) – Thursday, July 9.(41:14) Venus in Virgo Opposite the North Node Retrograde in Pisces 00° – July 9 – July 10 (Thursday – Friday) – Friday, July 10.(43:56) Chiron in Taurus Sextile the North Node Retrograde in Pisces 00° – June 19 – July 26 (Friday – Sunday) – Friday, July 10.(47:12) The Sun Conjunct Mercury Retrograde in Cancer 20° – July 10 – July 14 (Friday – Tuesday) – Sunday, July 12.Check out my conversation on the World Cup with Sean Cassels on the Ultra World PodcastMy latest conversation with 5th Generation Psychic, Dallisa Hocking.Join my Substackhttps://www.theweeklytransit.com/

What the Interior Field Is AskingI am back.Five weeks of pilgrimage in Bhutan, Nepal, and India. I am returning without full knowledge of what has shifted in the collective while I was away, trusting that you have been holding your own orientation through whatever has unfolded. What I can offer, as always, is the larger archetypal field and the longer view.It is good to be back in this transmission with you. This week has a particular quality of threshold. Neptune stations retrograde. A new Mercury cycle begins. Venus crosses into new territory. After weeks of considerable activation, something is turning more inward — more reflective, more attentive to what has been absorbed and what now needs integration.Key Cycles This Week:Monday, July 6: Sun in Cancer squares Saturn in Aries. The feeling self meets hard reality. What you are experiencing inwardly may not match what the outer field is demanding. The invitation is to let both be present without collapsing into either. Saturn at its best is not harshness — it is honest clarity. And that clarity, held alongside emotional intelligence, can be surprisingly useful.Tuesday, July 7: Neptune stations retrograde at 4 degrees of Aries (remaining retrograde until December 12). When Neptune turns inward, the fog that can accompany its direct motion begins to thin. Over these five months, visions become more interior and personal. Where has idealization been obscuring what is actually true? The quiet signal of your own deeper knowing becomes more available now. Trust it.Thursday, July 9: Venus enters Virgo. Venus trines Chiron in Taurus. Venus moves from Leo's expansive self-expression into Virgo's careful tending and discernment. Love that shows up in the details, in quiet acts of care that do not announce themselves. On the same day, Venus trines Chiron in Taurus — a genuinely healing contact. Healing arriving not through insight but through the body being genuinely attended to. A small act of care today may carry more weight than its size suggests.Sunday, July 12: Sun conjuncts Mercury retrograde in Cancer. A new Mercury cycle begins. This is the still point at the center of the retrograde — the moment when something becomes quietly, suddenly known. Not through analysis but through felt sense. Pay attention to what arises today. This new four-month Mercury cycle is seeded in the feeling field of Cancer. What becomes clear now is worth noting. It is planting something that will develop through the rest of the summer and into autumn.Looking Ahead: Monday, July 13 brings Venus in Virgo squaring Uranus in Gemini. You may already feel this approaching in your relational field — unexpected friction, a desire for more authenticity that runs up against existing patterns. Hold relationships with extra spaciousness as the week closes.Larger FrameLess speed, more depth. Less projection, more honest seeing. Less performing of wellness or certainty, more genuine attunement to what is actually present.Neptune retrograde supports that kind of seeing. Mercury's new cycle in Cancer invites a fresh chapter of communication rooted in emotional truth. And Venus in Virgo reminds us that love at its most real shows up in careful attention — to the body, to the earth, to the small acts of tending that keep life genuinely nourished.Reflection QuestionsAs Neptune stations retrograde, where has idealization or wishful thinking been obscuring what is actually true in my life? What is the quiet felt-sense knowing arriving at this Mercury cycle's new beginning about what wants to be seeded in the months ahead?Where is genuine healing arriving not through insight but through simple concrete acts of tending and care?Podcast poem: "Portal" by Rosemerry Wahtola TrommerIf you are feeling called to work more deeply with these themes of tending, belonging, and the earth element, two offerings are available now.On July 11 I am offering a free Earth element taster workshop, Root in the Sacred. The second week of July brings a chance to slow down, process recent events, and gain clarity before the next wave of change arrives. In this weekly astrology forecast, we explore Saturn's reality check, Neptune retrograde, Venus entering Virgo, important healing opportunities connected to Chiron, and a powerful Sun-Mercury conjunction that encourages reflection and review. After a fast-moving start to July, this week offers space to reconnect with yourself, reassess what is working, and identify the patterns you're ready to carry forward. In this forecast:✨ Sun square Saturn✨ Neptune Retrograde in Aries✨ Venus enters Virgo✨ Venus and the Lunar Nodes✨ Chiron healing themes✨ Sun conjunct Mercury Retrograde✨ Void Moon periods and weekly Moon guidance✨ Reflection, healing, and practical next steps
The week is basically front-loaded fun that turns into a lie-down. Sunday's Mars in Gemini trine Pluto in Aquarius is the strongest, most useful energy of the whole week, and it happens first, which is rude. After that, Cancer season keeps its foot on the emotional pedal the entire time (Sun in Cancer all week, Mercury retrograde parked in Cancer right next to it), so everything routes through home, family, and who's taking care of whom. Then the floor drops out twice midweek: Sun square Saturn on Monday makes everything cost more effort than it should, and Neptune stationing retrograde Tuesday turns the whole room to about 30% brightness. Venus slides into Virgo Thursday and spends the weekend making you audit the line between being helpful and being physically incapable of leaving something un-fixed. It closes Sunday night with a Cancer cazimi, the one legitimately clear moment in an otherwise soft-focus week.Key moments of the week:Sunday, July 5: Mars in Gemini trine Pluto in Aquarius (9:06AM)Monday, July 6: Sun in Cancer square Saturn in Aries (6:46AM)Tuesday, July 7: Neptune stations retrograde in Aries (6:55AM)Thursday, July 9: Venus enters Virgo (1:22PM)Friday, July 10: Venus in Virgo trine Chiron in Taurus (2:17AM)Saturday, July 11: Venus in Virgo opposite North Node in Pisces (9:09AM)Sunday, July 12: Sun conjoins Mercury (Cazimi) in Cancer (9:25PM)To read your, your kids', and your co-parents' daily horoscopes for this week, along with the detailed daily insights throughout the week, and personalized insights for every transit going on right now (plus deep dive parenting guides based on your specific chart and your kids' charts), pop over to the website or either app store:Get started on the websiteiPhone and iPad appsAndroid app

In episode 621, depth psychotherapist and astrologer Shawna McGrath, LMFT (she/her) shares about the planetary archetypes of Jupiter, Pluto, and Chiron and how from a depth psychological perspective these symbolically represent themes of power, authority, dignity, oppression/oppressor, child/adult, wounded/caregiver, privilege/marginalization, and a call to heal our relationship with wounding, power, and trauma.

There are some major shifts happening in the collective right now, and the latest is with Chiron, the astrological body as the wounded healer.Chiron has recently moved into Taurus and into Gate 3 in Human Design, and this isn't a quick Mercury retrograde-style move. I sit down with Dr. Sarah Webb, founder of Colorism Healing and an internationally recognized expert on colorism, the day before her brand new book hits shelves. We talk about colorism as more than a social issue. To Sarah, it is soul work, ancestral work, the kind of healing that runs through generations. I pull up her natal chart and we trace her Chiron placement, the wounded healer, and how the very thing she struggled with most became the foundation of her life's purpose. We get into the courage it took for her to publish her very first blog post, the morning she woke up and finally heard "I love you" instead of fear, and the difference between fitting in and truly belonging. Sarah shares the story behind one of her most viral posts, the one she almost never wrote, and what it taught her about speaking up even when it is uncomfortable. This conversation moved me deeply, and I think it will move you too. If you have ever felt like the lowest version of yourself trying to fit into a family, a culture, or a community that was never built for your full self, this episode is for you.
Hello New Paradigmers!Like a flower that's ready to blossom,It's time for me to open,And take some more space so I'm outta the race,Checking in with oracles and omens.☉With Mars conjunct Uranus I talk about anger (Mars) erupting from the personal unconscious (Uranus). Ya feelin' it? With the Sun coming up to square Saturn it can be like banging your fist into a brick wall.... ouch! However, with Jupiter in square to Chiron it can actually be healing. I was thinking on my way up the hill (after sitting in the river for a while to cool down!) that it's not just ignorant humans that are violent but that nature herself can be very violent too. I came across some scattered feathers where I'm sure a bird was attacked and killed. So yeah, anger and violence, just where do they fit into the evolutionary journey of the soul? I know anger comes up when something triggers us, something we believe or feel is not right. One path says that when we're triggered it points to our shadow and we have work to do. Another view can be that we are emotionally attached to a belief or ideal and need to expand our consciousness beyond right/wrong, good/bad etc. and accept everything that is.After sitting in the river for a while and letting her wash away my "stuff," I'm feeling another perspective. Perhaps the days of sitting on a mountain top and meditating are gone. That perhaps now we're in a stage of merging Spirit with matter, uniting the division, and "sinking down" into the morass of confused and ever changing emotions. Rather than judging this or that feeling as better or worse, appropriate or not, we accept our human nature, embrace it, feel it, scream if we have/want to, let it out and let it go (like the river taking it all back to mother ocean).Maybe life is a process of feeling every possible human feeling that there is and getting to the point where we're not judging them (or ourselves) for feeling/having them! Perhaps "enlightenment" is writhing around on the ground in pain and jumping in the air with joy and every other possible manifestation of feeling instead of sitting around in stillness. Hummmm.... just a thought. What do you think? For this week at least it may be healing to acknowledge every single feeling that comes up whether it's "OK" or not and see what it tells you... Blessings on your journey.Lots of songs this week...(hope you have good sound and a big screen for a little concert! A brief note. These episodes are prerecorded during a five-week period away. I am not tracking current events in real time. Hold what I offer here alongside what you are actually living. This is the last episode in this batch — I will be back in real time with you for episode #372.Feel First, Then OfferThis is not a quiet week. Two major planetary shifts land on the same day. Mercury turns retrograde in Cancer. Jupiter enters Leo. And Mars makes three significant contacts by Sunday. The week carries considerable activation and asks for both presence and discernment.Key Cycles This Week:Monday, June 29: Mercury turns retrograde at 26 degrees of Cancer and Jupiter enters Leo. Mercury retrograde in Cancer begins three weeks of review in the realm of feeling, memory, and belonging. Not a time for new initiatives or major decisions. A time for revisiting what was left incomplete, feelings too large to be fully processed in their first arrival, emotional truths moved past too quickly. On the same day Jupiter enters Leo, where it will remain until July 2027. For a full year Jupiter amplifies creative expression and authentic visibility, asking where you are playing smaller than your actual gifts require. The tension between Mercury turning inward and Jupiter expanding outward is worth sitting with. Feel first. Express from that ground.Wednesday, July 1: Jupiter in Leo squares Chiron in Taurus. Jupiter wants to expand into visibility and creative offering. Chiron in Taurus holds the wound of unworthiness in its most embodied form. Their square asks where the wound of not-enoughness contracts around the very expansion being offered. The elder wisdom here: you do not have to be fully healed to offer what is genuinely alive in you.Friday, July 3: Mars conjuncts Uranus in Gemini. The week's most electrically charged moment. The Action-Taker meets the Awakener at Gemini speed. On the eve of July 4th in the United States, when the mythology of independence and the reality of what this nation is becoming sit in painful contrast, this conjunction is not subtle. Mars conjunct Uranus can bring liberation and volatility in equal measure. Breathe before acting. The insight is real. It does not require urgency to be honored.Saturday, July 4: Mars in Gemini sextiles Neptune in Aries. The day after the electric conjunction, Mars finds the Imaginal Field of Neptune. Action in service of vision. On a day carrying its own complex collective weight, this sextile offers an interior alternative — quiet creative engagement, movement toward what is genuinely envisioned rather than performed or demanded.Sunday, July 5: Mars in Gemini trines Pluto in Aquarius. The week closes with depth and purposeful direction. Mars in easy flow with the Transformer brings action that serves the larger restructuring rather than merely the immediate impulse. A good day for intentional engagement with what has been activated through the week.Larger FrameThe thread holding this week together: feel first. Let the retrograde revisiting and the wound Chiron holds be real and present. Then let Jupiter in Leo remind you that what is alive in you is not meant to be indefinitely contained. The healing is not a prerequisite for the offering. They happen together. That is the nature of genuine initiation.Reflection QuestionsAs Mercury turns retrograde in Cancer, what emotional truth is asking for more honest attention before I move forward?Where does the wound of unworthiness contract around what Jupiter in Leo is beginning to offer, and what would it mean to share what is genuinely alive in you without waiting to be fully healed first? In this week's activation and acceleration, what helps you feel the difference between inspired action and reactive urgency?Podcast poem: What if There is No Need to Change? by Oriah Mountain DreamerIf the themes of this transmission are resonating — the healing of our relationship to body, earth, and what genuinely nourishes — I want to let you know about two upcoming offerings rooted in exactly this territory. On July 11 I am offering a free Earth element taster workshop, Root in the Sacred. Monday a Full Moon lights up everything you've built. Tuesday Jupiter comes home into Leo for a year. And underneath both, Mercury turns retrograde - so this is THE CROSSING: the week you walk through the door, and choose what you carry across and what you leave behind. Here's how to use it. This isn't a horoscope. It's a weekly operating brief for founders who run their week with the sky instead of being run by it: every transit turned into something you actually do, in your calendar, your money, your decisions. This week covers Monday 29th June through Sunday 5th July: Why a threshold week is crossed by what you refuse to carry, not by moving faster Monday's full-light audit - holding one built thing up against who you are now (Full Moon in Capricorn) Tuesday's real instruction as Jupiter enters Leo - not "be visible," but where the year actually rewards you Thursday's worth-move (Jupiter square Chiron) - and why the voice that says "who am I to charge that" was installed, not authored Why Saturday's rest is the instruction, and the spark you capture but don't act on Your elemental department briefing - what Fire, Earth, Air and Water each need this week The World, and the threshold already crossed Next week the chapter turns into THE RETURN - the July arc home to the true version of yourself before the year lets you be fully seen for it. The full chapter opener drops Thursday. This is chart-based business architecture - your actual birth chart turned into how you actually run. Reading tells you what's there. Architecture builds something with it.

In this episode a group of students and patrons join me to reflect on the recent Venus-Jupiter conjunction in Cancer, and to share stories of how it manifested in our lives based on which of the twelve houses it was transiting in their birth charts. The episode opens with a brief introduction where I talk about the importance of taking into account both the entire range of the sign-based conjunction or copresence between Venus and Jupiter, which lasted from May 18 until June 13, as well as the more intense range of the degree-based conjunction which went exact on June 9. After that I interview several people about their experience of the conjunction, looking at how it functioned in various houses alongside examples of notable public figures who also experienced this transit. Send us Fan MailThis is your cosmic energy report for June 22-28, 2026.
The first half of the week brings sensations of seismic shifts into the realms of relationality. Bold, courageous heartFULLness supports big picture transformation when we show up with curiosity, imagination, and willingness to express ourselves honestly. Later in the week as the solstice approaches, there's a deepening of awareness around what true wellbeing requires. As the saying goes, “you've got to feel it to heal it.” The best ways to feel and to heal now are in giving time with and attention to nature, Earth, and body. ✨✨✨This week-ahead reading for June 15-21, 2026 is an excerpt from this week's Somatic Space class with Renee Sills.
