Andor season 2 is coming, and it sparks the gang to rank their Star Wars picks. Are you a horse girl? Netflix's “Race for the Crown” documentary follows jockeys, trainers, and owners as they chase the Triple Crown. Sarah has trouble even telling us about today's Kanye story — ugh. James Taylor will announce the newest Rock & Roll Hall of Fame live on American Idol: Here are the nominees. Plus, your dog has behavioral problems — just admit it. And the gang discusses what women commonly discover about men once they have a boyfriend.
Andor: We'll Always Have Rix Road. The final two episodes of Star Wars Andor give Matt and John plenty to discuss as the arc resolves from Season 1. We see the fear, anger and hate boil over into a riotous uprising on Ferrix, with Andor caught in the middle as he returns to try to save Bix and mourn his mother. Did they hit the right pace? Did they break the story effectively across two episodes? And what in the name of weirdness is going on with Syril and Dedra?HostJohn Mills and Matthew RushingLove listening to Aggressive Negotiations, a Star Wars podcast that's different from all the rest? The arcade was our favorite place to hang out. But there were some games that we blew thousands of quarters on because they were too hard. What do people think were the hardest retro arcade games? The quality of this Ray Harryhausen movie may not have been at the top of his list, but it was still an interesting idea and had some crazy genre mashups. Shua found some cool YouTube channels that have some great, high quality classic Pink Panther cartoons. It's a great way to have some retro in the background. Sci-Fi Saturdays This week on Sci-Fi Saturdays Jay gets real with the 2011 Hugh Jackman movie Real Steel. We loved spending time in the arcade as we were growing up. We tried to use our quarters wisely and budget them for the maximum experience possible. But sometimes we had to cram a lot of them into games over and over because they were so hard. Which ones were the most challenging? Were they the same ones you struggled with?
Miten mahtava Andor jatkaa menoaan? Onko toinen kausi yhtä loistava kuin ensimmäinen? Ja miten näyttelijät suoriutui tällä kertaa? Näihin vastauksia arvostelussa. Lopussa myös vähän Star Wars uutisia. Odotatko innolla tätä? Mitä mieltä olit ekasta kaudesta? Jos olet nähnyt tämän, mitä mieltä?

Welcome back, Void! You get a monologue, and you get a monologue, AND YOU GET A MONOLOGUE!! Monologues for the ages! We're seriously awe-struck at the quality of the speeches in this half of the season. Andy Serkis leading the prison break, Stellan Skarsgård digging deep into sacrifice, and Fiona Shaw being the first stone thrown (literally). Following the first strike against the Empire at Aldhani, the sparks of rebellion are kindled across the galaxy. For each hero rising up, there is an equal psychopath torturing, stalking, and just being creepy. Mon Mothma is our "character growth" MVP as she chooses to walk the walk and sacrifice everything, even her daughter, to the rebellion. This season is one of the best pieces of Star Wars storytelling, period.

Follow along with the entries below:Sword: It has many hidden capabilities, such as fingertips that can shoot water and a membrane on its back that it can use to glide through the air.Shield: Its nictitating membranes let it pick out foes' weak points so it can precisely blast them with water that shoots from its fingertips at Mach 3.Scarlet: It uses special lenses in its eyes to sense things about its opponents—like their body heat—then attacks once it identifies a weak spot.Violet: It may present itself as being well-mannered, but deep down, it still has a lazy side. It will slack off when its Trainer isn't looking.Anime: Inteleon has many capabilities hidden all over its body. Skywalking Through Neverland: A Star Wars / Disney Fan Podcast
ANDOR Season 2 is just around the corner! But where did we leave off with Cassian and friends in Season 1? After all, it was 3 years ago. What really happened between ISB agent Dedra Meero and Imperial wanna-be Syril Karn? How was Maarva Andor weaponized? If you don't remember, we are here to remind and prepare you for this new season that premieres on Disney+ on April 22nd. There is lots to go over especially how ANDOR crosses over with STAR WARS REBELS. We also look back at our roundtable interviews with Production Designer Luke Hull and Costume Designer Michael Wilkinson to see how their creations will add to the storytelling of ANDOR Season 2. Today in Star Wars History 4/15/1963 Happy 63rd Birthday to Tom Kane! Tom Kane voiced hundreds of animated characters in dozens of series. To Star Wars fans he is Yoda and Admiral Yularen in The Clone Wars and did the opening newsreel narration for each episode. He also voiced Admiral Ackbar in The Last Jedi and Star Tours. Unfortunately Tom Kane had to retire from voice acting in 2020 after a stroke. SPONSORS Small World Vacations is an official sponsor of Skywalking Through Neverland. What to Expect Before the Star Wars Series ReturnsMatthew and Alex talk about everything we need to know for Andor Season 2! The new season will bridge the gap between the first season and Rogue One, showing the evolution of the Rebellion during a crucial five-year period.Matthew and Alex reflect on what made Andor Season 1 such a groundbreaking addition to Star Wars storytelling — its mature themes, complex moral questions, and unprecedented quality of writing and acting. The hosts discuss how Season 1 presented a more "adult" version of Star Wars that wasn't afraid to explore the moral complexities of rebellion and resistance. What loose threads from Season 1 might Season 2 address? One of the major talking points is how Season 2 might resolve storylines introduced but not concluded in Season 1. The hosts discuss the possibility of exploring Cassian's search for his sister — including a fan theory that Kleya, Luthen's assistant, might actually be Cassian's long-lost sister. They also wonder if we'll learn more about Cassian's feelings regarding his adoption by Maarva. How will Mon Mothma's story progress? The hosts speculate on Mon Mothma's storyline, particularly regarding the potential arranged marriage of her daughter to secure funding for the Rebellion. They note how Season 1 explored themes of tradition across different cultures, and how this might continue to play a role as Mon Mothma navigates her responsibilities to both family and revolution. What other Star Wars characters might appear in Season 2?Will Orson Krennic's role expand as the show moves closer to the Rogue One timeline? How might the show depict the formation of the Rebel Alliance from disparate resistance cells? What role might Bail Organa play in Season 2?Could characters from other Star Wars media like Rebels make appearances? Will we see how Cassian meets K-2SO?How might the show depict Emperor Palpatine and the Imperial Senate? The hosts conclude by expressing optimism about the new season while acknowledging the high bar set by Season 1. They note that the series creators had planned for exactly two seasons from the beginning and took their time with production, both factors that bode well for maintaining quality. While they acknowledge some nervousness about expectations, their excitement for the continuation of what they consider one of the best Star Wars properties—and one of the best television shows in general—is evident. **************************************************************************This episode is a production of Star Wars Generations, a The Ethical Panda Podcast and part of the TruStory FM Entertainment Podcast Network.
