Silly Season is underway in the NHL. The first week of Free Agency has come and there have been plenty of signings and moves made by teams hoping to be better. Not all of these moves will work out though and there could be a lot of overpayments & regret from these signings. Kyle and I will go over our thoughts on some of the moves made during this first week and who probably put themselves into Cap Hell for the future. Buffalo Sabres hockey is back in session...albeit very briefly as the 2019 Sabres Development Camp wrapped up this weekend with the French Connection Tournament. Kyle and I watched the prospects' game very closely to look for who Sabres fans should be excited for heading into training camp. It'll also serve as a distraction from the potential horror of NHL Free Agency (for now). Hello Listeners! Sorry it's been a while; work and other things got in the way. Anyways, a big thing happened for hockey fans everywhere: the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. The Sabres made two first round picks this year (6 total) so we will be going over our thoughts on those picks as well as some other interesting points that came out of the draft. Happy Memorial Day everyone!! The later upload is due to us working and then having a family party, so our apologies for uploading this at the very last minute. Speaking of "very last", we are down to the very last round of the NHL Playoffs: the 2019 Stanley Cup Finals. This episodes features us mourning the loss of the Hurricanes and Sharks' playoff runs and lamenting the finals matchup for the teams that are in it. The Buffalo Sabres have hired a new head coach, but it's not who the fanbase expected it to be (us two included). Do we like the hire or do we think Botterill should lose his job because of this? After many final exams and driving up from North Carolina, Alec is back home in New York with Kyle for their first episode together in the same room. After an amazing first round of the 2019 NHL Playoffs, it's time to recap said first round to realize how no top seed is safe thanks to the Blue Jackets' sweep. However, this wonderful madness isn't over yet. There are three more rounds to go and things are only going to get more exciting.
