I've heard the phrase, "I'm going to be a little selfish and take care of myself" way too much. Why? Because, it is not selfish to take care of yourself! Exploring the world can sound like an amazing endeavor to some and a scary one to others. Nonetheless, I believe that beyond just seeing beautiful sights, eating decadent foods, and speaking other languages, going to a different country can open your mind to understanding different ways of living that you may have never experienced before. I've grown a lot from being able to be immersed in different cultures and believe it's necessary for everyone to see what a world beyond the environment they've been raised in is like.Enjoy this discussion I have with my good friend, Gaby, on our experiences traveling through multiple countries and what we've learned from our international adventures. There are billions of people all through out the world. While we were all born as individual human beings, we didn't come into this world alone. We were born into families and, as we grew older, we began to build relationships with friends. These were our first exposures to community, a group of people you were tied to based around a core belief, objective, or identity. My good friend, Christine, and I talked about our experiences with community on this episode and a plethora of knowledge was shared in our discussion.Share this episode with someone you think might benefit from it and follow the podcast on Instagram at @wcdtmpod.- Christian Inspires
COVID has affected each person all over the world in some way. We hear on the news about the people who've caught COVID, the businesses hurt by it, and the urgent need for vaccines. However, we rarely hear about how the healthcare workers who have to treat those diagnosed with the coronavirus are feeling and how they've been impacted. On this episode, I brought in one of my close friends, Alexis Paules, who is also a registered nurse, that has worked most of her nursing career during the pandemic. She shared her experience and insight on taking care of people who've been diagnosed with COVID. Hearing her stories, you can't help but think nurses and doctors are some of the many heroes during this time in history.Follow the podcast on Instagram at @wcdtmpod and share this episode with someone you think will benefit from it.Stay real, stay ready, and stay tuned!- Christian Inspires

Even though therapy has been becoming more popular and widely accepted, it is still taboo in certain cultures. Growing up, therapy seemed like something you only needed to go to if you felt like you were losing your mind and saw no way out. Now that I've actually started going to therapy since mid-November of last year, I've found it to be very helpful and welcoming for people who just need some feedback and guidance in an area they may be struggling in. During this episode, I bring back my good friend, Jonathan Hightower, to discuss our experiences in therapy and how we've grown because of it.Check us out on Instagram at @wcdtmpod and share this episode with someone you think may benefit from it.Stay real, stay ready, and stay tuned.- Christian Inspires
Nowadays, it is difficult to live life in the current moment. Social media, large ambitions, and a lot of comparison can cause us to live outside of where we are. We see what other people are doing and aspire to be like them or we can focus on everything we are not and feel depressed. What I've come to learn in the past months is life is a culmination of moments that we must live in each step of the way. Instead of having our minds stuck in the past, the future, or where someone else is, it is important to be right where your feet are.Follow the podcast on Instagram at @wcdtmpod.Now, go be great today, because you are.- Christian Inspires

Insecurity is something we all deal with at some point in our life. But where does it stem from? It stems from the fact that there is something about us we perceive as too different or weird in relation to the people around us.
