A bit of a motivational one today, ey! I hope you enjoyed it
Today, we explore the impact that society has had on how we perceive ourselves and our bodies. We delve into body image, social media, diet fads, eating disorder recovery, and health. Through time, we've learnt how to love ourselves a little bit more, and we encourage you to do the same. Recovery is possible, and you are so worth it! Today, we explore what it is like to grieve. I speak briefly about the experiences I have had after losing my dear mother - but also, how wonderful it has been to realise that she is still here. She sits within the heart that beats in my chest; in the children I might have, and the very hair that grows from my scalp. She is always here. They're also here within the thoughts that you have; the memories, and the way you decide to carry yourself, throughout. Nobody can ever take that away from you. I hope this helped you! These things have really changed my outlook on life, taking me from the depths of depression to being able to feel at one with myself and the world around me.
