On Tuesday's Mark Levin Show,  Sen Lindsey Graham would have been amused yet pleased by the packed tributes from those who once labeled him a warmonger. He was a peace monger who stood firmly with America's allies. He knew Israel, Ukraine, and Taiwan are forces for good against Iran, Russia, and Communist China. Graham was straightforward, his word was his bond. You may not have agreed with everything he said, but he was a man of principle. He will be missed. Later, the Iranian regime needs to be eliminated. The Iranian people want liberation and are being slaughtered for speaking out - the focus should be arming them, rooting out the IRGC, and applying aggressive military leadership rather than endless bombing or infrastructure destruction alone. Meanwhile, Zelensky and the Ukrainians are winning the war against Putin and Russia. The administration and public opinion are turning in favor of Ukraine because the Ukrainians are demonstrating that they will not be defeated and Russia's casualties are truly horrendous, threatening Putin's hold on power. The Ukrainians are attacking Russia's oil infrastructure to great effect. And it is making a huge difference in the trajectory of the war there. The U.S. appears to be avoiding Iran's oil infrastructure.  We need to rethink this if we seek an actual victory. We are not going to achieve an actual victory at the negotiation table, certainly not a lasting victory. Finally, Alan Dershowitz calls and breaks down Zohran Mamdani's pied-à-terre tax. Mamdani's practice of compiling and releasing lists of second-home owners is typical socialist behavior. Mamdani is a vicious, bigoted antisemite whose insistence that every other country may be a Muslim state while denying Israel's right to exist. Sitting quietly at a desk, hands folded, attention on the teacher — and being called a snob for it. The substitute teacher's words cut deep, not only because of the insult itself, but because of what it feels like to have something good about you twisted into something shameful. Quietness mistaken for indifference. Attentiveness mistaken for pride. The tears didn't fall until later, but the sting of being misunderstood lingered long after the school day ended. Most of us carry memories like that one. And while our experiences do not compare to what Christ endured, Isaiah 53 makes clear that our Savior knows this pain intimately. He was despised and rejected, falsely accused, sentenced and crucified as a criminal — though He was the sinless Lamb of God. He endured the worst misunderstanding in human history, and He bore it with grace. That means when we bring our tears of being misjudged to Him, we are not bringing them to someone who cannot relate. We are bringing them to the One who understands most deeply of all, and who invites us to entrust our case to the Father who sees the truth clearly. And in that posture of trust, something else can grow: a greater willingness to listen, to withhold quick judgment, and to seek to understand others the way we long to be understood. Today's Bible Verse "He was despised and rejected — a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked away. He was despised, and we did not care."— Isaiah 53:3, NLT Ponder Today Jesus knows the pain of being misunderstood — more deeply than any of us ever will. The sinless Son of God was accused, condemned, and crucified as a criminal. He is not a distant Savior who offers sympathy from afar. He empathizes from experience. We can entrust our case to the Father, who sees the truth perfectly. When others misjudge us and there is nothing we can do to correct the record, we can follow Jesus' example in 1 Peter 2:23 and commit our situation to the One who judges justly. Being misunderstood is painful — and it is okay to bring that pain to God. The tears that sting when we are falsely judged are not too small for Him. He sees the truth clearly, and He cares about what it costs us when others do not. Seek to understand rather than to be understood. The words attributed to St. Francis of Assisi capture something of the grace Christ modeled: the goal is not to be vindicated in everyone's eyes, but to respond with the same grace and humility with which He endured false accusation. A Prayer for You Today Precious Savior, You know the stab of pain that comes when others misunderstand and slander what was done in good faith. You, the spotless Lamb of God, were falsely accused and sentenced to death as a criminal. As I take comfort in Your empathy, help me learn from this experience — to remember the sorrow of incorrect judgment so I may grow in my ability to listen and understand others. I do not want to hastily judge others, just as I do not want others to impulsively judge me. Let Your grace guide me to spend more time listening and observing than quickly voicing my opinions. And even if others never come to recognize the truth, I trust my pain to You, because You know all things and You are the Righteous Judge. In Your name, Christ, I pray. Amen. Being misunderstood sucks.Seriously.It sucks when someone completely misses your heart, questions your intentions, or decides who you are without ever getting curious enough to actually know you.I spent way too much of my life trying to explain myself.Trying to be understood.Trying to convince people that what they heard wasn't actually what I meant.You know what I've discovered?That sucks a whole lot more than being misunderstood.Because here's the truth: most of the time, it isn't even about you.People aren't listening to you.They're listening through their own experiences, assumptions, confirmation bias, fears, and stories. Ford Frick's name may be familiar to baseball fans, but his story — and his impact on the game — have largely faded from view. Yet for more than four decades, Frick occupied a front-row seat to some of the most transformative moments in baseball history, first as a journalist and publicist, then as National League president and ultimately as Major League Baseball's third commissioner. This week, we're joined by author Dave Bohmer, whose new book, "Ford Frick: Baseball's Third Commissioner and His Four Decades of Shaping the Game," offers a fresh and compelling reassessment of one of the sport's most misunderstood executives.
