    In this episode I interview Becca Syme who is a writing coach and a successful cozy mystery and romance writer. We talk about her growing up in Montana and having Trinidadian friends. We discuss issues such as how do introverted writers reach out to people who are not of their culture. Why is it important to include diverse characters and when does it become problematic. Becca discusses how she used to include diverse characters and stopped doing so and why she is now changing that. She also discusses how she is incorporating a half-native half-white character and why she chose to not write in the first person POV as well as why she is including sensitivity readers this time around.
