Anu is a Science Teacher at St. Mary’s Academy in Portland, OR where she teaches biology and chemistry. Before moving to Oregon, Anu taught at Westborough High School in Westborough MA, teaching both biology and chemistry. At Westborough, Anu was both the school’s Science Fair Club and Science Olympiad advisor. While in Massachusetts, Anu was an active member of the Amgen Biotech Experience community and was also a member of the teacher development team for LabXchange. Mike Murray is a biology teacher at Pembroke High School, in Pembroke MA. Mike has also worked as an adjunct instructor at Massasoit Community College where he teaches anatomy and physiology and biological principles. Mike is very involved in the New England PD community regularly participating in workshops with the Amgen Biotech Experience, Mass BioEd Foundation, MiniPCR, and Cold Spring Harbor Lab. He has also served as a reader for the AP Biology Exam, has led professional development for AP Biology teachers on behalf of both College Board and Mass Insight, and he is one of the cofounders of the New England Area AP Biology PLC. Tammy Fay is a department leader biology teacher at Masconomet Regional High School in Boxford, MA. Tammy has developed four elective courses in biotechnology, bioethics, and two interdisciplinary courses Prometheus Unleashed and Mission Mars. Tammy has also been involved with implementing the Amgen Biotech Experience in her school district. More recently, she has been part of a team of teachers developing LabXchange pathways for virtual lab experiences as well as assisting in teaching videos to explain a variety of concepts in molecular biology. Tammy holds a B.S.in biotechnology from the Rochester Institute of Technology, an M.A.T. in science education from Boston University, and an M.Ed. from Salem State University.

Scott is currently in his eighth year of teaching biotechnology at Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational-Technical High School in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Scott has been involved with implementing aspects of the Amgen Biotech Experience at his school. More recently, Scott has been part of a team of teachers who are designing LabXchange pathways for virtual lab experiences as well as assisting in teaching videos to explain a variety of concepts in molecular biology. He transitioned from working in a research laboratory to science education in 2000. Scott received his B.S. degree in biology and marine biology from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth, and his M.S. degree in biology from the University of New Orleans.
