Hey All! So here's the thing. I'm turning 29 this week and it's been a doooooozy the last month navigating end of year things, reflecting on the year I've had (and most times giving myself a hard time about it) and feeling SHAME about where I thought I should be and the things I thought I should know. As an entrepreneur and a millennial that finds herself comparing (even subconsciously!) to other entrepreneur millennials on the internet, I find myself saying, "they are so much better at this than I am, they do this with such ease." or my personal favorite, "I wonder how they do that?" Because wouldn't we all love to ask our heroes how they do it without feeling like we are less because we don't know? Like our professionalism or our credibility is being questioned because we are curious? How basssackwards IMO. "It is essential, not shameful to not be an expert on everything because life is not meant to be done alone and asking questions is an honorable, humbling, and honest way to connect." ALSO "Asking questions not only takes the power that shame has to keep us small awa, but when you lead from curiosity the energy in whole rooms has the opportunity to shift." and BTW I'm 29 this week, woooo! Xx, Cait

Faith comes to the rescue, yet again, to help demo a super skill that requires an Echo Button and some eyes. If you have at least one working example of each then why not give this groovy game a go? Oh and BTW I'm putting a call out for "Hi!"s too - robin.christopherson@gmail.com.

Everyone celebrates a joining of 2 people in many different ways around the world- to me, it seems like almost anything can go these days. In some cultures you have a dowry- in others you have a "bride's price". In some cultures you can get engaged/married with in a few hours of meeting and in others you have to wait a certain period of time before the talk of marriage is discussed. In this podcast we're going to be talking to various people and hear how their traditional weddings take place Akmed from Egypt Brian from Zimbabwe Jamison from USA Flossy from USA Yuri from Japan and Ida from Norway Thanks to all who helped me put this together! If you want to hear more, please email me at LN.Lurie (at) yahoo.com or tweet @hydrix13. (BTW- I'm sorry this went out without the ACTUAL PODCAST TO PLAY! Don't know what happened. I blame Namibia's internet.)
