Paul will interview Zoe (documentary subjecy) RAISING ZOE and the film's director Dante Alencastre (who won Outfest's Audience Award in 2007 with his Peruvian trans doc EN EL FUEGO (IN THE FIRE). Then Synopsis: Pioneering Outfest documentary, RAISING ZOEY, follows one of Los Angeles' bravest, and youngest, trans rights activists, Zoey Luna (last year's LA Pride's Grand Marshall) just after winning a case against her school district for discrimination, as she begins hormone treatments and publicly advocates for change with her unconditionally loving mother, Ofelia, and sister, Letti, by her side.
