This week we talk to a dear friend of mine, Howie Howells. Some people may be familiar with Howie from Channel 4 Genderquake. Howie talks about the mental struggles she's suffered growing up gay in an environment which didn't speak about it nor really welcome it in. We discuss the power of a world becoming more gender neutral and the mental health epidemic amongst the LGBTQI+ community. Episode #10 of the chase greatness podcast welcomes great friends and sisters Howie & Holly Howells. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Holly is a pro bikini model turned CrossFit athlete who coaches in person and online and her sister Howie featured on the Channel 4 documentary Genderquake, where a group of young people from all backgrounds races and sexes were brought together as part of a project to raise awareness for gender identities. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In this episode we have a good catch up and talk mainly about gender and sex and how the stigma and overall outlook on sexuality should no longer be such a taboo subject. We also talk about training and how holly is now pursuing her patios of CrossFit.
