In her freshman year, she competed on vault in all but one meet, notching a season-best 9.85 in her very first collegiate appearance. She took things up a notch during her sophomore season, consistently competing in both the vault and bars lineups and earning her first career 9.9 score on bars at the Big Ten Championships.Now in her junior season, she's making an even bigger contribution to the Wolverines by adding beam to the mix and scoring career highs on all three events: a 9.9 on vault, 9.925 on bars, and 9.95 on beam. O caso ocorre em meio às investigações sobre o Banco Master e encontros envolvendo autoridades e consultores ligados à instituição.Integrantes do governo Lula demonstram preocupação com o impacto político do escândalo envolvendo o Banco Master. Nos bastidores, aliados do Planalto articulam uma estratégia para associar a crise à gestão anterior, citando o ex-presidente Jair Bolsonaro e o ex-presidente do Banco Central Roberto Campos Neto. A avaliação é que o desgaste pode crescer se o caso continuar atingindo diferentes esferas do poder. O ministro aposentado do STF, Luís Roberto Barroso, afirmou que o Judiciário atravessa um momento difícil em meio às revelações envolvendo o caso Banco Master. Em entrevista, ele também elogiou a condução das investigações pelo presidente da Corte, Edson Fachin, e pelo relator André Mendonça. Relatórios citados em investigação apontam pagamentos de R$ 3,6 milhões do Banco Master a uma empresa ligada ao ex-prefeito de Salvador, ACM Neto, do União Brasil. As informações foram divulgadas pelo jornal O Globo com base em registros analisados pelo Coaf. Em nota, ACM Neto afirmou que os valores se referem a serviços de consultoria prestados de forma regular. O Senado aprovou um projeto que cria mais de 17 mil cargos no governo federal e prevê reajustes para diversas carreiras do Executivo. A medida pode gerar impacto de cerca de R$ 5,3 bilhões apenas neste ano. O texto agora segue para sanção do presidente da República. O percentual de famílias endividadas no Brasil chegou a 80,2% em fevereiro, segundo levantamento da Confederação Nacional do Comércio de Bens, Serviços e Turismo. O índice representa o maior patamar da série histórica da pesquisa. Os dados indicam que a maioria das famílias brasileiras possui algum tipo de dívida. This week's guests are sisters Morgan Price and Frankie Price.Morgan Price spent the first three seasons of her college career at Fisk University, competing for the first HBCU gymnastics team. She won six WCGNIC national titles and became the first HBCU gymnast to score a 10.0, earning the mark on uneven bars during her junior season. Now a senior at the University of Arkansas, she recently made history again as the first Razorback gymnast to score a 10.0 on vault.She is closing out her career alongside her sister, Frankie, a mainstay in Arkansas' vault and floor lineups. Frankie owns career highs of 9.9 on vault and 9.975 on floor — the latter matching the program record. This week, we're excited to be joined by Theresa Kulikowski-Gillespie, a 1995 Team World bronze medalist and Olympic alternate for the gold-medal-winning 1996 U.S. women's gymnastics team. Theresa competed collegiately at the University of Utah, where she was a 14-time All-American and won three individual NCAA titles — including the all-around and balance beam as a freshman in 1999.Following her gymnastics career, Theresa served as a physician assistant in the U.S. Army from 2009 to 2012, including a deployment to Iraq from 2010 to 2011. Today, she runs My Mindful Medicine, where she helps people heal and become the best version of themselves through guided meditation, support groups, and one-on-one mindfulness sessions.In 2024, Theresa published Beyond the Chalk Box, a book that explores the challenges and triumphs of former elite gymnasts through their own stories and reflections. We loved reading it and are excited to have Theresa on the show to dive deeper into the book. We've got another new face on the show, and we're very excited about this one — Ashley Johnston, who is entering her fourth season as head coach of the Alabama Crimson Tide.Ashley was an incredible athlete in her own right before becoming a coach. She was a 10-time All-American during her career at Alabama and helped lead the Tide to two SEC titles and two NCAA championships. As I sat yesterday pondering all my friends, family, and compatriots celebrating Thanksgiving, my thoughts turned to the turkey, the traditional sacrificial creature for this event. And whatever the avian counterpart of a rabbit hole is, that's where my thoughts turned as I realized that a tribute to our feathered friends in general would make a nice, lightweight, potpourri episode as we once again hurtle into the final preparations for the holiday season. As my list of possible repertoire exploded, I decided to limit myself only to stage works in which a bird is somehow involved: as a character, as a symbol, as a metaphor, perhaps even as all three simultaneously. So, with composers ranging from Rameau to Sondheim, including such forgotten figures as Walter Braunfels, Victor Massé, and Félicien David, I have put together a wonderful program that focuses particularly but not exclusively on the florid French repertoire, performed by such favorites as Reri Grist, James King, Ileana Cotrubas, Fritz Wunderlich, Sylvia Sass, and Mattiwilda Dobbs, bolstered by such relative newcomers to Countermelody as Léïla Ben Sédira, Ninon Vallin, Janine Micheau, Harolyn Blackwell, Emma Calvé, Endrik Wottrich, Liz Callaway, and Flore Wend. In addition, I am particularly thrilled to present a sublime singer whom I'd not yet encountered before yesterday: the British-Swedish songbird Jacqueline Delman, singing Granados! We're so excited about this week's Coaches Corner interview with none other than Jordyn Wieber, now in her sixth season as head coach of the Arkansas Razorbacks! Even with some key injuries last season, the Razorbacks still put together a strong run. Remember, they upset both LSU and Florida when those teams were ranked No. 2 in the nation! While the end of the season didn't go quite as planned — missing out on SEC Championships and not qualifying for NCAAs as a team — we think that's just going to light a fire under them heading into this year.Expect the Razorbacks to bring the heat in 2026.
