Pastor King is also the founder of Dream Center Peoria, a faith-based not-for-profit organization located in downtown Peoria who's mission is to impact families living in poverty, starting with kids and youth. In this special episode, Andy King (John's son) and Chuck (Tate) interview John in front of a live audience at an event called Love Peoria about how the vision of DCP was birthed and how it has personally impacted him over the last 20 years.

In this passage we see the intersection of taking in that which is beyond you through watchfulness and gratitude. In doing so we cultivate the heart of love for that which is all around us while at the same time building up the interior life with God. The two are inseparable.
