REGISTER AT MISSIONPEORIA.COMGET QUARANTINE EDITION SERVE SHIRT HERE: https://www.dreamcenterpeoria.org/serveshirt2020… What a year! For some, it brought disruption, pain, confusion, heartache, and feeling alone. But, what if God was in it all? What if he had designed it to bring clarity and purpose? Could it be that this generation…. in fact ALL generations, would somehow see that where they lived was where God wanted them to be in this moment in history? What if God wanted you to dream one size too big? Normally, 300-400 students would ascend on Peoria to impact 20 different areas of the city. What if God had a bigger plan, a global plan? A plan for you to make a difference where you are.MISSION PEORIA 2020 will look and feel different, intentional, and global. We are asking you, students and adults, to take a week and make a difference. The beauty of MISSION PEORIA 2020 is anyone, anywhere, can make an impact. Young people, older people, previous MISSION PEORIA attendees, and people who have wanted to be involved but couldn’t, can now… for FREE. We have taken some of the main elements of MISSION PEORIA and we will bring them to you. We will challenge you in so many ways to do something new and fresh in your home, street, and city. Are you up for the challenge? Each day the MISSION PEORIA team will lead you in devotions, have lunch with you, direct you in ways to do localized service projects, and bring everyone together virtually for MISSION PEORIA NIGHTS. We will even have after parties via ZOOM. We want you to do this individually, or with small groups of friends or youth groups. It will be a MISSION PEORIA like no other…REGISTER AT MISSIONPEORIA.COMMISSION PEORIA GIVES BACKWe will also launch MISSION PEORIA GIVES BACK. This is a way that you can impact Dream Center Peoria by creatively raising money. This will help: provide food, shelter and support for our homeless women and children; provide backpacks and uniforms for Backpack Peoria; bring hope to students in the out of school programs; and bring the love of Jesus to a world that desperately needs Him right now. The goal is to raise $20,200. If 200 students/adults take up the challenge, and each raise $101, then we would hit our goal. If we all do our part, the goal is achievable. This challenge could also be done with small or large groups. Will you take up the challenge? Register for free today at MISSIONPEORIA.COM, and let us help you make a difference where you live.

As you can imagine, responding to the coronavirus threat looks a little different for us at Dream Center Peoria. Many of whom we serve are homeless, or are looking for a place like Dream Center to come to for help and direction. So we are having to respond in a different way. Here are some of the things that we will be doing to serve our guests and volunteers with dignity, compassion and purpose:.1. DCP HOUSING - Our homeless shelter will be open 24/7 for women, children, fathering dads and families. We have sanitation stations throughout the areas and a heightened level of hygiene..2. DCP STUDENTS - The governor has closed all schools from March 16th until the end of the month. From March 16th to the 19th, and also March 31st - Project 309 (out of school program) will be open from noon to 4pm each day. There will be mentoring, tutoring, a meal provided, and a whole lot of fun! March 20th -27th is spring break, where we will not have Project 309 (that was already set up, and the students were aware of it). Leading up to April 1st, we will take direction from the city and state authorities on the next steps going into the month of April. All basketball and athletic programs will stop until further notice..3. DCP CARES - We are cancelling and postponing any big public activities including: Hope Store will be closed March 21st and April 2nd. Volunteers who serve during the week can still come in and help sort everything that comes in. Rethink Poverty Simulation on March 17th will be cancelled and rescheduled. Small groups and Bible studies will remain open to our guests as they are small, and our guests are already in the building..Please stay connected to us on our website dreamcenterpeoria.org and on our social media platforms @dreamcenterpeoria..Thank you for your time,Andy King (@andybrit)Exec.
