Pastor Ian asks “Why Gather?”. It's a simple question but if we are honest our responses may be filled with different perspectives, stories, experiences and struggles. We know we are in an important season as a community and it's important to reconsider some of the core questions as we move forward.

The word “race” is often used in describing our existence on this earth. We're all part of the human “race”; our lives can seem hectic like a rat “race”; and sometimes our push for personal success can seem like a “race” to the finish. However we look at it, “the race” is important so we want to start 2020 with a teaching series where we'll look at God's plan for the journey. Using a famous biblical passage in Hebrews 12 we'll consider: the ultimate goal; the obstacles that can stop us from running; how to know the direction we should go; and who's cheering us on and waiting for us at the finish line.
