In this Episode, I list my top 5 (really 6, but who's counting) Middle Grade books that I either read with our kids or read ahead, in preparation to read with them. There are so many great Middle grade books out, so this list is just a small notch as to what's out there. The Authors mentioned are Nic Stone, Janae Marks, Lisa Moore Ramee, Ibram X. It's a very crazy thing for something like this to have to be in place, simply because Natural hair isn't deemed 'kept' enough to be presentable in certain spaces.
