Web3 has shown us that friendships and deep-diving conversations know no geographical boundaries. This conversation happened on two ends of the globe, and was fueled by a burning desire to speak passionately about the web3 world. One of the topics we discussed centered around the inflationary period we are experiencing around the globe. While we are unsure of how the markets will play out, we do know that some alternative asset classes provide a hedge against the dollar's value. The two remarked that it will be interesting to see how rising levels of global debt will influence currency stability and capital markets. The two also dove into the ways in which the core of American democracy and web3 communities both center, and were formed, around participation and active involvement. Both organizations were formed around a shared goal or interest, and take shape because of the effort members put in to make the country, or community, a better place for all.
