Episode 198 of the Todos Toman Podcast is all about unwritten rules, the ones everyone follows... until someone doesn'tMiguel, Tank, and Romero talk through the social rules we all magically learned growing up:– Elevator silence– The last slice nobody wants– Don't hit “reply all”– Showing up empty-handed– Taking your shoes off (or not)– Roasting your friends but defending them in publicJohnny Boy is out this episode, but we're sending a birthday shoutout to Tina. The crew debates which unwritten rules should be canceled, which should actually be written down, and what happens when someone completely ignores the rule and ruins the vibe.Press play and see how many of these rules you've broken

This episode contains our exclusive interview with Tina Romero, daughter of the legendary filmmaker George Romero, discussing her film 'Queens of the Dead' at the Buried Alive Film Festival. Becky also interviews several independent filmmakers, who had only 13 days to produce each short horror film in the annual Sinema Challenge. Becky tells funny stories about being trapped on a tour with her mom, and the awkward joy of attending the rather bawdy film festival with her teen daughter. We promise not to give away any spoilers for 'Queens of the Dead'! Instead, Becky and Diana muse briefly on the evolution of queer/female representation in horror and other media genres. Then, we prospect for ideas should we decide to enter the Sinema Challenge in 2026, based on our favorite white card from Cards Against Humanity. You know the one. This episode (and a shorter video of just Becky chatting with Tina Romero) are both on Youtube.com/HomespunHaints. Interview with Jeffrey Wilson, President and CEO, Precipitate Gold Our previous interview: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/posts/precipitate-gold-tsxvprg-barrick-partnership-grows-to-22m-as-regulatory-path-clears-6789Recording date: 22nd January 2026As gold approaches $5,000 per ounce, Precipitate Gold Corporation has positioned itself for an aggressive exploration campaign across two promising Dominican Republic projects. The junior explorer recently closed a C$6.5 million financing in early January 2026, bringing its treasury to C$9.5 million with no underlying work commitments on its 100%-owned properties. The most significant development for Precipitate has been the dramatic de-risking of the Dominican Republic as a mining jurisdiction through neighbor GoldQuest Mining Corp.'s success. GoldQuest's share price surged from C$0.16 to over C$2.00 in twelve months as the company advanced its Romero project through environmental approval toward a bankable feasibility study. This progression validated that projects in the Dominican Republic can advance to production, opening capital access for regional explorers.Precipitate's recent financing was notably supported by Dominican investors who watched their peers profit from early GoldQuest positions. According to President and CEO Jeffrey Wilson, wealthy Dominican business individuals who passed on GoldQuest at lower prices are now seeking similar opportunities in the district. The company has identified two near-term drill catalysts. At Pueblo Grande, which surrounds Barrick Gold's Pueblo Viejo mine, Precipitate discovered an untested chargeability anomaly following comprehensive review of historical data. The company plans to test this target with 5-8 drill holes at 100-350 meter depths in a permitted, accessible area with geophysical characteristics similar to Pueblo Viejo mineralisation. At Juan de Herrera, adjacent to GoldQuest's Romero deposit, Precipitate has advanced four to five targets to drill-ready status through twelve months of geochemistry, mapping, and geophysics work. The 40-kilometer shared claim boundary with GoldQuest positions the company within the same geological district for potential "string of pearls" style mineralisation.Wilson emphasized that all factors have aligned for the first time in Precipitate's 13-year history: drill-ready targets, strong gold prices, capital availability, and responsive market conditions following years of disciplined capital preservation.Learn more: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/companies/precipitate-gold-corpSign up for Crux Investor: https://cruxinvestor.com
On Friday, January 23, Assemblymember Gabriella Romero stood with New York State Senator Zellnor Myrie at Foley Square in New York City. The press conference was to commend Governor Hochul for including language from their bill, the New York Civil Rights Act (S.8500-A/A.9076-A), in her Executive Budget and to call on the State Legislature to advance this bill without delay. Here are some excerpts from that press conference.

We're back, and we're joined by Sean Kray (battle rap menace, Spurs sufferer) and Alex (finally resurfaced now he's got a missus and no longer drinks alone at 10am). We talk Burnley away, the loudest chant of the day, and why explaining “Thomas Frank, your football is s***” to a nine-year-old is peak Tottenham 2026. We get into whether Frank's actually seeing the season out, the weird little signs of improvement we hate ourselves for noticing, and why the noise might matter more than results. There's love for Romero and Van de Ven, frustration with Vicario, debates about the back three, and the ongoing mystery of why our talented players keep playing like they're allergic to risk. Plus: relegation chat we don't want to have, the “start the diet tomorrow” theory, a completely normal NordVPN ad that definitely doesn't involve parental locks, and the age-old Spurs question: is this the worst we can remember, or have we just repressed the rest?

Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Jason McGovern, Actor TJ Ramini and Luke as Cristian Romero popped up with another late equaliser to rescue a point at Burnley on Saturday. The central defender produced a brilliant 90th-minute header from Wilson Odobert's cross to score his third goal in as many games and ensure we didn't leave Turf Moor empty-handed, having found ourselves denied by a string of Martin Dubravka saves and the frame of the goal over the course of the contest. His central defensive partner Micky van de Ven had earlier fired us into a deserved lead, but Burnley fought back with goals from Axel Tuanzebe and Lyle Foster either side of half-time. Without a win in 13 Premier League outings beforehand, the Clarets looked set to cling on despite our heavy pressure for what would have been a famous win - until Romero, much like he did at Newcastle United last month, took matters into his own hands to make it 2-2 at the end. There was still a sense of frustration for the team at full-time, though, having gone close to adding to the scoreline on multiple occasions. We discuss where this leaves the future of Thomas Frank and if he deserves to continue in his position as Spurs' head coach. Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Actors TJ Ramini and Darren Hart along with Luke as another wonderful Champions League night in N17 saw us overcome Borussia Dortmund with goals from Cristian Romero and Dominic Solanke rounding off an excellent performance. Tuesday's 2-0 victory guaranteed a top 24 finish in the league phase and a play-off place and, depending on Wednesday night's results, it's likely a win at Eintracht Frankfurt next Wednesday will secure a passage straight into the last 16. Facing a Dortmund side which had only lost once in the Bundesliga all season and were joint top scorers in this season's Champions League, we were always on top in the contest, even before Daniel Svensson was given a straight red card in the 26th minute. By that stage, Romero had netted his first Champions League goal for us, while Solanke capped his first start of the season with his first goal of the campaign to put us 2-0 up at the break, a lead we didn't relinquish. It extended our run to 24 home European matches without defeat and four home wins without conceding in the league phase this term, while there was a further bright spot with a debut off the bench for 17-year-old Academy product Jun'ai Byfield, becoming Legacy Number 902 in the process. We also discuss what impact the nature of the result has on under-fire head coach Thomas Frank. We look at what United's squad says about the kind of coach they actually need, and how much room there is for another stylistic reset. Then it's across the transfer market: Aston Villa's links to Conor Gallagher and Tammy Abraham and whether they're smart upgrades or short-term fixes, Real Madrid targeting Nico Schlotterbeck as they plan their next centre-back pairing, Newcastle's interest in Giorgio Scalvini and the risk-reward profile of that move, and Spurs spending £13m on Brazilian teenager Souza. We're back with coach Harry Brooks to deep-dive on wunderkid Luka Vuskovic and why the hype is getting silly for an 18-year-old centre-back on loan at Hamburg. We chat through what makes him so dominant, why his aerial numbers are outrageous, how he plays off both feet, and why he keeps popping up with goals like he's a striker. We also get into the one obvious weakness in his profile, whether he can handle the Premier League right now, and what Spurs even do if he comes back when Romero and Van de Ven are already nailed-on starters. Plus a quick detour into what smart development actually looks like and why rushing the steps is rarely worth it. Sign up to Harry's incredible work here on Patreon. Learn more about your ad choices. Donate to Legend On The Bench now and help save people from suicide: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/legend-on-the-bench We somehow turned a Spurs pod into sinkhole chat, canal-boat paranoia, and then a genuinely weird, rare thing: feeling a bit of pride after losing to Liverpool. Two red cards, a ref performance that made no sense, and yet the stadium noise actually lifted us. We get into Romero's chaos, Spence looking class, Richarlison coming on like a man possessed, and whether the players are actually buying what Frank's selling. Plus a quick word on the To Talk Is To Do campaign and why it matters this time of year. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
